The process has been more difficult and time consuming than anyone would have imagined, but as we get closer to opening, what was once a simple questions has become a new reality. A place for excellent steaks, seafood and appetizers with a full bar and fantastic service.
Stop back often as our opening date draws near. We love our customers, and want to do everything we can to build a great place for the people of Enid, Oklahoma to enjoy made from scratch foods that represent the American country we all love.
I had chopped sirloin. My wife got shrimp scampi. Both were great and lots of good. Our friend got chicken fry. It was good also.
I made a reservation on Open Table and the Land Run restaurant canceled it with no explanation.
We had reservations (done on open table) they sent me an email the night before and cancelled our reservation without notice.
Upon arriving at Land Run and telling the host we had a reservation, he told us we needed to wait. After waiting for a few minutes, we asked if we would have enough time before our table was ready to go to the bar for a drink. He said yes the wait would be about 15 minutes. We almost finished our first drink and noticed that the host never came to get us. The bartender mentioned that she could have someone check. Someone went and cleared a table for us and walked back to the bar and pointed in the direction of the table and told us that was our table. No one ever showed us to our table or told us who our server would be and we never saw the host again until we left. We were happy with our server and the food was okay. I would go back to eat there had our experience with the staff been better. It was really a big joke, except for our actual server. She was great. Our food was cooked very well, but needed more seasoning. The dessert was delicious. They have a good selection of wine and my husband’s favorite beer on tap. The prices are not bad for a steakhouse. The staff just needs to be trained in how to be gracious. We appreciate the bartender taking initiative to get us a table. We asked her “what’s the point of a reservation” if you have to wait for 20 more minutes only to be forgotten? It was a big joke.
Friendly staff, great food! From start to finish the food couldn't have been better!
We enjoyed our meal and didn’t feel rushed to leave after we ate. The food and service were very good.
The entire staff was professional and friendly. This was our first time having lunch at Land Run and will definitely return. The food was amazing and the prices were fair.
Excellent food and service. We've been there as a couple and with friends. Each time we have left impressed with the entire meal. If you haven't been there, give it a try.
Wait staff very good and steak was GREAT!
Everything was good, just seemed excessive for 2 people to have a good meal with 1 drink each that it should be $120 before tip.
The server, Arlene, was very good. The service time was good. The food was way over priced for the quality. Sirloin was tough as shoe leather. The chicken in the chicken piccata was over cooked and tough. The chicken piccata was also way too salty.
Server, Valerie, was excellent. She was attentive, made great recommendations, excellent personality and great customer service skills. Enjoyed the meal; heard bad things; but i was extremely happy with everything involving Land Run.
The service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. $11 for a very small glass of wine though. Really?.. its in Enid OK .. not some nice resort. But if you can afford $82 for a salad, potato and glass of wine for 2 people for lunch then it's a nice place.
Very relaxing atmosphere even though there was a bar to watch sports, it had several areas where there was almost silence. Nice place to spend an evening and enjoy a very good meal.
Food came to the table cold. Was an excruciating wait for the server, especially at the end waiting for the check.
This is probably the nicest restaurant in town in terms of atmosphere but between the price, the quality of food and service it is just not worth it.
The food was wonderful and our server was amazing.
The steaks were good and tender, and our waitress was very attentive.
We took my mom there for mother’s day so it was pretty quiet. The service was great but the food was seriously lacking. We had the shrimp scampi and it had no flavor very bland. Our meal was 81.00 one drink no sides. Still not sure why it was 81.00. Went didn’t go for great service we went for the food. We sadly will not be going back. If you are hoping for a good meal go to the city .
The servings were too large so food was wasted. My steak was tough and baked potato was cold. For the high price, much better food and preparation should be provided.
Definitely will return. Great service and food. Staff were polite and helpful.
Lovely restaurant, great ambiance, awesome service. The only negative would be I didn't feel the value was up to the prices charged. I ordered a Bison steak for ~$35. I got a smallish steak and a baked potato. I didn't feel this was a $35 meal.
The food was great as was the service. A very good experience.
made reservation for 2 at 7pm for 14th anniversary. sat at bar for 20 minutes looking at lots empty tables. 42 minutes to get water after asking several times. asked for bread it came out with food over hour later. princeling chicken very very small and we had ordered it before there and was much bigger. they said they were out of hollandaise and i guess about out of cheese too because chicken was dry and topless. the 3 asparagus huge and hard and fiberous inedible with the 3rd having no head just a bottom lol. ordered the banana foster for desert it never came so we left hungry and very unhappy. our waiter dude with mohawk was horrible and looked confused and 0 waiter experience i guess. open table asked if it was special event we told them anniversary on reservation, lol guess noone ever told Land Run because they coulda cared less and never mentioned it. I eat out alot and spend alot money doing it but expect good service and good food, this time was lacking both. Maybe I will try them again Im not sure but they have to improve or will be a great business and great owners going out of business.
Steak cooked just exactly as ordered
Enjoyed dinner very much. Husbands steak was overdone but they corrected it right away. Loved baked sweet potatoes as side. Only criticism was on veggies. The carrots need more glaze. Wait staff is great.
Great service! My steak was a little fatty for my liking but still delicious! Brussel sprouts are amazing!!
This was my 2nd experience with LandRun,,,, the first time the steaks were cooked perfectly, the daiquiri was mediocre . Our party of 6 ,,, none of the steaks were cooked right, but the potatoes were good. Honestly, Western Sizzlin' and Golden Corral were/are just as good as far as steaks go. I've heard many mixed reviews for LandRun... good one time, not the next. Keep trying!
The wife & myself wanted 2 go 2 an excellent steak house where we could enjoy our 55 years anniversary. We met a great waitress that took care of us & we had a great night. Great steak.
Great atmosphere. Quiet music. Treated us a most remarkable evening. Thank U!
If you are looking for made to order food- this is an excellent choice in Enid.
I’ve been to Three Forks, Del Frisco’s, and other exclusive steak restaurants. The meat was not worth the price (excessive fat and gristle for the price) compared to other comparable restaurants. Service was great.
It is a nice place, but not worth the cost. Meals, sides and drinks were higher priced without being worth the higher price.
What DIDNT go wrong ! I’m used to paying $37 for a ribeye at Red Rock Grill and YaYa’s in Wichita, they are always great, without exception.
3 Steak were ordered, two were the wrong variety, took more time to get a replacement.
Bananas Foster was ordered to entertain guests but when a guy in a T-shirt comes out of the kitchen holding a skillet and a plastic bottle then proceeds to pour some liquid from the bottle into the skillet, ignite it with what looked like a large cigarette lighter, then only let it flame for two seconds before pouring into a bowl extinguishing the flame then tasting a Very strong alcohol presence, one guest could not tolerate it but overall the presentation was very crude and did not taste good; a waste of money.
The ambience and wait staff were pleasant and attentive but sadly limited by the B-Team cooking staff or something, we won’t be visiting again. We can spend $148 more enjoyably somewhere else.
The steaks were good. Way to much butter added to food. Lettuce salad had parts of bad lettuce in it and skimpy on portions. Went there for a relaxing evening and was put next to a noisy table, and on the outside where everyone walks by continuously. Would love to see better options on salads when eating healthy. Asparagus was good but tiny portions.
Started out well, greeted at the door by the owner and had high expectations. Waiter was friendly, took care of us right away. Drinks arrived with salads and then the problems began. Request for rolls was forgotten about, the water bottle that was on table was empty and drinks were not as ordered. Meals were severed at different times and the food was not even warm, outright cold. Meals were returned to kitchen and came back colder than when they left. One steak was over cooked the other was perfect except for temperature. Soft drinks and water never did get refilled and the problems we were having seemed too much for the waiter to overcome. Owner asked how everything was and we told him,. He was in disbelief but offered no solution to a meal gone wrong. Waiter brought the $225.00 check to which I paid and handed to the owner because he said he was going to take care of it. He handed it back and advised to give it to the waiter. He took care of nothing other than walking away. He did say the reason the food was cold was because they were backed up and the meals had sat in their service window too long. Not sure that's a good excuse but apparently it was theirs. There are several places in Enid to get a great meal at this price point, for us Land Run was not one of them. Won't go back, but hope they do get their act together, just won't be with our support.
over priced good cut of meat cooked correctly lack of option with meals...fries too thick and hard...scoop and a half of ice cream and a bit of syrup was the $7 dessert...too expensive for what was offered
My birthday was the day before on Valentine's Day. It was very nice and special.
Great service! Loved the atmosphere!! Food is superb!!
Arlene was our waitress and did an outstanding job. The food was great.
The service was great and the food was good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food.
I did not like not having prices on the menu. I ordered shish-k-Bob with cottage fries. The cottage fries were cold while the meat and veggies were steaming. I liked my meal, except for the cottage fries, but thought it odd it was placed on a bed of rice and paired with a choice of potato as a side. Normally rice and potatoes aren't served together. My husband says his sirloin and baked potato were just ok. There was not enough butter for the potato.
