I drove 20 miles from my hotel to go to this restaurant. I made a reservation through OpenTable a day before and received a confirmation of my reservation. When I got the the restaurant it was closed. Someone came out of the office and said there were not any reservations on the computer so they closed. I never had or heard of anyone making a reservation on OpenTable before and having the restaurant be closed. I recommend making the reservation on the phone to confirm the restaurant is open.
What a wonderful experience! Brian the chef, and Alexa the hostess were phenomenal!!! They made my wife's birthday a very memoriable event. I can't say enough great things about Lancellotti's atmosphere. Talk about romantic! They even made a special requested birthday New York style cheesecake for my wife's birthday and did many other great things for us! I will definitely be coming back and bring the love of my life with me!
The Lancellotti dinning room at Geneva on the Lake truly serves a great cuisine with an alluring and romantic atmosphere with it's live instrument music playing until 9pm. The reservation through OpenTable was quick and easy to process. I am very pleased with the speed at which the process took place. Would recommend to friends and family if they need to reserve any location for a dinner cuisine or any event.
Fine ambience for Valentine's Day dinner date. Service was superior - Alexa was very attentive and professional. Live piano added to the ambience of the former mansion. I enjoyed the dinner special of salmon, and my wife enjoyed the lamb shank. Her salad and my appetizer were also very good. We shared a flourless chocolate cake for dessert, and were also presented with heart-shaped cookies with the bill. An ideal spot for a formal dinner date.
We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Food and service are excellent. Piano player is a nice touch.
Amazing harp player, great ambience & service!
It was our 40th anniversary and we chose Geneva on the Lake to celebrate this special occasion. It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and to our surprise we were the only ones there. Talk about being well attended to! Our server, Casey, couldn't have been more accommodating. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and did all she could to make our evening special without hovering or being intrusive. Our meal was delicious and served leisurely. We had fabulous time and will certainly go back. Yes, it is a little on the pricey side, but for a special occasion it is well worth it.
The Garden room where we were seated was perfect for a quiet evening date. Live piano music was a nice touch as well. We also very much enjoyed the salmon over gnocchi appetizer. The problem was with the main courses. My wife ordered a filet medium. She received an undersized filet that was very much rare and chewy. Probably one of the worst I’ve tried. Then there was my overpriced pasta. $32 for fettuccini cacciatore and meatballs. My fault for ordering but it sounded great. The noodles kept breaking as they were clumped and over cooked. The sauce was bland and too tomatoey and the biggest knock, the meatballs were undercooked and raw in the middle. I couldn’t eat 2 of 3 of them. If this were a local tavern I wouldn’t have expected much, but when in a place like this, and paying prices like this, you should expect a fantastic meal, and that we did not get.
Excellent service with well prepared cuisine
Very nice experience!! Local farms are highlighted
excellent service and ambiance, great food and presentation. you must order the baked alaska at time of food order however,
AMAZING setting with AMAZING grounds and view of the lake. Menu was good, have a drink in the parlor before dinner and check out some of the photos of previous guests.
What we thought would be a wonderful anniversary dinner was awful. Food and piano was good but narrow room with door view of lake was huge disappointment. Unfortunatinatly this is just a hotel restaurant with families with too many screaming kids. We were looking for an enjoyable evening and it defiantly was not. Expensive dinner in the daycare room. Never again.
We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. The manager stopped over for a chat and the live piano was a nice touch. Highly recommended.
We had such an amazing dinner. It was a Monday night, which most restaurant were closed, there was live music (a romantic harpist), and the best meal of our trip. I highly recommend the hotel and breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Geneva on the Lake.
Excellent service by Hannah. Staff very pleasant. Would highly recommend it.
My wife and I dined at Lancellotti for our 10 year anniversary. It was a very romantic and quiet setting which made it a perfect date night spot for us to celebrate. The food was good, I don't think it was worth the price, but we both had very good, and well prepared meals. Our waitress was very sweet and since knowing it was our anniversary took very good care of us and provided us with some freebies. My only negative comment would be the pricing, as it is very high priced for what you get, and it is a very small seating area, so if you were to go with a large group it would be difficult.
We have searched for a fine dining restaurant near Keuka Lake. Lancelotti filled the bill. The food was excellent. The service friendly if a little chummy. There was an excellent piano player all through dinner. We recommend the back dining room; it is quieter but you can still hear the music. Menu is not too extensive but we all found good choices. The whole venue is historic and lovely.
The service was great, and the live piano music is a big plus. The prices, however, are too high. $29 for a plate of pasta with no sauce, for example, is ridiculous, and $44 for filet mignion is pushing it.
Great food and service in a beautiful atmosphere. The chicken was wonderful as was the duck. Awesome selection of desserts.
Great environment, unique physical surroundings, awesome staff, accommodating.
This restaurant is in a lovely, historic setting. It is very expensive and the portions are small. The service was excellent. Our table was 'one the way to the restroom', thus the traffic was heavy. Our 2-top table was tight. This was our second visit to this restaurant, probably our last. The piano music was lovely altho, if you are seated in the main dining area, it could be hard to talk over.
