Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails is Mills area’s newest dining and nightlife concept. Playfully yet eloquently named, Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails got its inspiration from the idea to ‘hangout and throw some shade in conversation’ while paying homage to the history of its building, previously The Lamp Shade Fair, well-known by locals for over 50 years.

The Asian-influenced tapas style menu showcases seasonal and local provisions of the Orlando community in innovative dishes that Executive Chef for Thriving Hospitality, Ryan Stewart, has meticulously developed.

Lamp & Shade's comprehensive beverage program features riffs on tiki classics tying back to the influential Asian roots of cocktails, pairing nicely with Chef’s selection of Asian inspired faire.

Keeping it simple I’ll just say excellent and imaginative tapas dishes. Fun to share and well priced considering high quality. Same goes for cocktails. The boilermakers are a nice twist on drink selections.

Valet Parking was full by noon on a Sunday. Food was ok however cocktails were delicious

One of our most favorite restaurants in Central Florida. My wife and I go to Lamp and Shade Craft Kitchen often. Great food and staff. I recently survived pancreatic and bladder cancer. As a result, I’m on a very strict diet. Unlike other restaurants their menu has a lot of tasty choices that suit my dietary restrictions.

Every bite was delicious! My party ordered the dumplings, hasselback potatoes, Caesar salad bites, calamari, cauliflower, burrata, sushi squared, and the spicy rigatoni. If I had to order again I’d do it exactly the same - but maybe another order of the Caesar bites!

The ambiance is great and service is wonderful. We sat at the bar and we ordered several small plates. Service was top notch. The rice cakes, squid ink calamari, Cesar salad bites, popcorn, shrimp lettuce wraps and edamame and duck dumplings were delicious. Just FYI they charge an automatic 20% gratuity on your entire check.
