Great ambience, food , location. Would definitely recommend.
Appetizers, main courses, desserts and pizza absolutely incredible. Great ambiance and location.
Finally, a cool restaurant with delicious food near Penn Station!
Always a great experience. All the dishes we tried were delicious. Food wasn’t too heavy. Perfect!
The food was outstanding, the portions small and the noise level very high. It was difficult to hold a conversation at a normal tone of voice.
Food was tasty and well prepared. Service was a little disjointed; rarely saw the waitperson. Waited a long time for desert menu and desert itself after it was ordered.
We live in Manhattan and this restaurant is one of the best here. Period. We attended the Annual Beer and Cider event in the Eventi Hotel and dined again at L’Amico and had a wonderful experience all around. This is probably the 10th time we’ve dined here and it is consistently superb and delicious Italian cuisine and wines and highly attentive service. We absolutely love this place.
Recommended by a friend and did NOT disappoint! Delicious food that is also instagram-worthy. The black cherry amaretto ice cream was probably what Eve actually bit into in the garden of eden...divine!
Lovely and bright, high ceilings, well-appointed dining area. Very good service. Great for our brunch
Delicious food, really wonderful service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is a really nice place without feeling TOO fancy.
Front of house hosts were very nice and welcoming and our server was good. I was disappointed by the lack of vegetarian and vegan options and when I asked for a substitution as I have a dairy allergy I was told the restaurant does not do them, so my plate and palate was a bit sad. The menu is quite meat and dairy heavy so I would not recommend to any vegans or veggies.
Great menu for sharing. Scallops and pasta were prepared perfectly. Staff is polite and professional.
The food is really good. It’s the third time I’ve been here. But once again, the service is just awful. 45 minutes to even order our appetizers. We kept trying to grab someone and they kept telling us someone was coming over. They knew the service was poor so they sent us two desserts on the house. Get it together guys!
He had a quick dinner before a show on Friday night. Service was outstanding. We sampled several appetizers and sides and it was all fantastic. Cauliflower is a no miss.
I have always had an enjoyable meal at L’Amico. The food is delicious. The drinks are unique and tasty. The service could use some improvement. But overall, I would recommend this place.
I would highly recommend L'Amico!! First, the food is delicious--this was our third time dining there and everything we have had has been excellent. Second, or maybe even first, the service! The manager Karl is exceptional. On our second visit, there was a mishap with our order, and he could not have handled the situation any better. He is professional, kind and even followed up with me the next day. We are planning to make this our go-to place whenever we are in midtown.
Excellent food. Good for lunch meetings.
Great Italian food. Ambiance and decor quite. Nice.
The brought out a birthday cake at the end. Very nice!
30 minute delay seating us. Noise level is hostile. Way too much pressure to purchase wine.
Wonderful evening-helpful and efficient staff; food was outstanding; a relaxed atmosphere in an intimate setting; a bit on the noisy side.
Great service and great meal!
Food was fabulous! Had the soup special and one of the speciality pizzas. Perfect for lunch!
We had a great dinner here. It was a bit loud but nice atmosphere. They helped with wine selection and we found a new wine we loved !!
Busy make a reservation
Make sure to meet the manager on duty. Samantha was an entertaining and gracious host. We had a really great dinner and a really good time.
L' Amico has never failed to please. The food, service and ambiance are all outstanding. It is no wonder that I make a point to dine here regularly and recommend it to friends; both native New Yorkers and visitors alike.
The food is way overrated!! everything else was actually great, but if they call that Italian food, then they are great competitors for the Olive Garden.
L’Amico is one of the best Italian restaurants in Midtown Manhattan. Remarkable quality, excellent service, great value. A must go!
Thanksgiving dinner for 4 - very good.
Delicious thanksgiving meal!
Great for a quick lunch or informal dinner but wouldn’t consider for a special event and certainly would not recommend for Thanksgiving. Simply was not that special. The closure of several blocks along 6th Avenue made transportation a challenge as well
Un ambiente agradable, buena atención y la comida deliciosa, aunque una pizza que ordenamos, la regresamos por que estaba bastante quemada, pero lo arreglaron y la cambiaron
good food, nice restaurant
best pizza. Amazing Bolognese. 10/10 food. The people/friends at my table were young and were asking questions about the menu and the waiter was almost mad, I have been here many times so I tried to answer some of their questions but some things were in italian that I did not understand either. So yes I will always come back because it is my favorite restaurant but my friends probably won't due to the attitude of waiter.
Amazing wait staff. Our waitress was helpful with suggestions. Wonderful atmosphere.
I was looking for a restaurant for my finicky 12 year old and for adults that wasn’t a pub with burgers and wasn’t so expensive and inflexible that they wouldn’t accommodate my son’s preferences. We also wanted to try someplace new and near midtown. L’Amico was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good and the service was very attentive and efficient, but not so much that we couldn’t enjoy the meal. My son gad meatballs that were delicious and I had the bolognese sauce that was also fabulous.
I did find this restaurant through Zagat’s and they were on point.
Spectacular service, great food, nice ambiance, LOUD. Convenient and pretty quick. Creative and yummy Italians and based-on-Italian dishes. Lively venue in Kimpton Eventi hotel.
The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Consistently a gem, especially for this neighborhood. Delicious with excellent service.
