Every single person from the moment I walk into the restaurant to the servers it is excellent service!!!!
10/13 points in service and overall excellence!!!!
My sister and I took my niece and nephews on Friday night. We all loved it. Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent particularly the sommelier
As always the food was amazing. I stay at Eventi whenever I come to NYC so I can eat at l'Amico!
It was great
Energetic w good food, good service, nice menu and wine/cocktails. Very accommodating. We’ve been before and will go again.
Good business meal. Quick and great food.
My wife and I went for Sunday brunch to meet a friend; I had requested a quiet table but it wasn't ready. We waited 10 minutes or so for the people there to leave. Table was in the corner so quieter than others, but hardly quiet. Noise level is quite high but we were able to converse.
Very nice brunch selection of innovative dishes; all 3 that we had were excellent. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes are a standout: very, very light but full of flavor.
Prices are on the high side, especially the drinks.
Perfect spot for our post-theater dinner. The dishes we shared were delicious - eggplant caponata, burrata with roasted squash, roasted cauliflower and brussel sprout salad. The wine list was perfect for the menu items.
I love L’Amico! It’s such a tasty restaurant! I’ve never had food that tasted bad here. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I am giving the food 4 stars on this review because the poached eggs were a little too done for my liking, but the rest of the meal was excellent. I highly recommend their ricotta pancakes, they’re heavenly!
This is an great New York feel brunch place! Love it!
Food was great but the portions were very small, especially for how they were priced. Even pastas were the same price as entrees.
I would rate this one of the best meals I've ever had from start to finish. 5 stars would be conservative. ----TOTALLY AMAZING ---
Amazing dinner once again! Food is excellent, Staff is friendly and attentive! Love the ambiance! Cocktails are delicious too!!
As ever, the food was very good, atmosphere nice and the service professional.
Quality excellent! Waitress was knowledgable, friendly and efficient. Great service. Everything we had was delicious!
Extensive wine list.
Some tables were a little crowded in, especially tables for two.
We had a corner seat which was great.
The staff were all aware it was our anniversary which I’d said on booking. Thoughtful and showed care taken.
This restaurant was always busy when we went past and by 6pm was buzzing.
Another wonderful lunch, every dish was perfection.
The food was delicious ( we got a breakfast pizza and pancakes to share) and the waiter was super informative and patient as we made our choices! An underrated brunch spot for sure.
Ricotta pancakes were bomb!
solid place great pizza attention to detail...paid!
Service is below quality of the food that is really outstanding
Egg dishes were good. Salads were boring. It seemed like all brunch selections had a lot of cream or cheese
I have been here several times. It is expensive -16 dollar mimosas!. Food is very good - not hue portions but enough. The servers are great and the bussers very attentive. Need to be a little of a non picky eater. Nice that we sat a little earlier as we arrived early after driving in NYC making good time. I will be back!
Had Nigel as a server and met the GM (forget his name). Great food and drinks and service. !
Hospitality and food were all fantastic!
Wonderful meal. Food is delicious. Service is fast and friendly.
Excellent dining experience!
We wanted to spend a lovely evening while enjoying great food in a nice atmosphere. The food and atsmosphere were very nice. A bit disappointjng was the speed of serving the food. We could have been outside in an hour or so, not exactly what we call a nice evening out. It felt like the reataurant was out to sell the table a couple of times that evening. I would not expect that from a ‘classy’ place... We had not even started our aperative or first course came. Very pity, better give a heads up before start / when ordering. We were able to hold desert back, but that was it. Food nice though! Drinks rather expensive. But hey, you’re in NYC!
Lovely atmosphere. Chose the pasta but portion was tiny. Need to order 2-3 starters and main to fill up. Quite pricy. But food was delicious
We had Christmas Day dinner here and the food was really great. The location was only a half block away from our hotel. Very quiet and no complaints.
Good restaurant. The kitchen is their best feature. Greeting is ok, table service is below average. Prices are reasonable.
Won’t return, but I can’t say we had a bad experience. It’s just not as good as expected.
Restaurant vraiment beau et des serveurs attentionnés. Je recommande vivement !!
We had a reservation for Christmas Eve. The staff was excellent, food was great and ambiance was wonderful!
Good food and service. Definitely pricey and tables are very close together, so their is a lack of intimacy for dates. Beautiful interior. Gelato for dessert and cocktails were tasty. Service got a tiny bit slow but that was only because they got slammed with tables. Staff was very attentive, quick to refill sparkling water, bring out apps, change silverware, etc.
Overpriced for the quality and experience and there was something about the staff that seemed off or unhappy. Was in there near the end of the holidays so might have just been fatigue.
An amazing meal. From the bar to the hostess to the table, service was impeccable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in midtown. The whole restaurant is a little more casual, so no need to get crazy dressed up to enjoy a fine meal in NYC. Don't miss the veal.
L’Amico was enjoyable, though loud. Food was good and wine was served like in Spain or Italy! Our server brought bottles to our table then gave us samples, before pouring. A nice touch!
Really a nice place and very good food. Staff was excellent. Main entree was served an hour after we ordered it but it all worked out.
