This is perfect place for a celebration! The food, service, and overall ambiance excelled more than what I expected. The Deluxe Seafood Tower was amazing, so fresh! The cocktails, all delicious. I’m going to have to come again for other occasions just to experience the other spectacularly decorated rooms.
Amazing food, service, ambiance decorum and reasonable prices!
Try the surf and turf and especially the raw bar SO FRESH!
We ordered our food at 6pm. We didn’t get our entrees until 646pm. We had to be at the theater at 7. When we told our server to cancel our entrees because we had no time, they suddenly appeared. We sent one back (which they removed from our bill). We shared/inhaled the other. Not the dinner experience we were hoping for.
Okay so im veryyyyy big on reviews and before coming here i was a bit thrown off by the reviews they had on yelp. But i highly recommend the decor in the spot is definitely insta worthy and the food was great none of us had any complaints. We absolutely loved the octopus and the lobster. We also enjoyed the carbonara it was amazing and the rib eye was alright. The only thing that threw us off is their cocktails everything they serve is sake based so it sucks if you want to feel a buzz out of your drinks because you dont. We highly recommend getting a champagne bottle if possible. Overall we had a great time and we’ll definitely be back.
Love the interior. We were by the ice bar. The sun shining in revealed how pristine and clean everything was. Our table was comfortable. The service was fair. We did wait an unusually long amount of time for a single order of iced black coffee. Other than that snag, everything was accurate and exquisite. Perfect brunch nook for my next friendly get together.
A very beautifully restaurant. The ambiance was very relaxing and the food was very good. This would definitely make a cute first date location. Will definitely go back!
Thanks for your service. Kind and professional personal, good menu and music.
Our waiter sucked but everything else was great!
Took the food a little long to come out but overall the ambiance was amazing, staff were very welcoming & food & drinks was delicious! I will definitely go back.
Very attentive and gracious hosts. Ruby was great.
Great ambience, but the food was just okay. We ordered the half dozen oysters to start, then we got the crab cakes (very small portion and awfully salty), as well as the fried calamari (overly cooked). As for the entree we got the grilled brandzino to share for the table (salty, overcooked, and dry). Overall a good dining experience with the friendly staffs and great service, but not amazed by the food. Don’t think I will be returning.
Excellent oysters, grilled octopus and fish. Highly recommend the seafood carbonera !!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with attentive & friendly staff. It was a fairly busy Sunday during the brunch changeover & it took a while to get our food but understandable to some degree.
Ceviche, Octopus Cocktail, & Squid Ink Linguini were all enjoyable but maybe not great. The recommendations from the server were pretty disappointing. The grilled lobster was really over cooked & the oysters were not carefully shucked so there were shell fragments in each one & all of the liquor had spilled out.
Would go back for snacks or brunch just for the environment but not much else.
Went here for bottomless brunch for a birthday celebration - fantastic service, great drink options, and lovely ambience! Will be coming back here for lunch and dinner
Good deal, good with friends, and good drinks. Food was on the smaller side, but still ended up being filling. Would go again.
Beautiful decor and huge space. Good selection of drinks and food. The service is too slow so expect to spend three hours for dinner.
Honestly neither the oysters (6 put of ten), the 3 apps or the main were of note. They spent a ton on the mush mash ocean ambience and little attention on the disappointing food. Yet crowded in a Wednesday night. Made me miss Aquagrill even more.
Food below average - not terrible but not one dish impressed at all
AWESOME! loved our waitress & the ambiance, food was delicious too!! will be returning
Just a perfect spot to celebrate an anniversary or have
I love love love the ambiance here. So glad I found this place on open table. It was a last minute reservation. Everyone was nice with a smile on their face. Good vibes. Will definitely recommend and come back as well.
The decor seems classy and sophisticated in online photos, but in person is more like a stage set to cover up a trashy ambience. It's a club vibe, including music too loud for dinner discussion, and although staff are kind and inviting, they are unprofessional and not well trained in service. I sat at the bar with a drink for 30 minutes, and nobody realized the puddle of water immediately to my left. I had to keep edging to my right. When we sat for dinner, the server presented a wine glass dripping with fog and water on one side, and upon our mutual recognition, she turned it around with a chuckle (rather than wipe it with a cloth or get a new glass). Drinks are limited to beer, wine and champagne (straight or cocktails), which could be glorious except that the offerings are few (three in each category) and very poor quality. The average wine glass is $17; none of their wines are that quality. Also, the staff are not familiar with the few wines: I watched one server approach the bar to ask the name of the house wine and was shown the label. We had a delicious appetizer, so the food may be good. But we didn't stay for dinner. We canceled our entrees and headed out to one of the many great quality, smoothly staffed gems in the area. Still, one aperitif, two terrible glasses of wine and one fish taco appetizer ran me $75 (with tip). On our way out, there was a new puddle on the bar of a darker liquid. Staff were standing around chatting for most of our time there.
We celebrated my boyfriends birthday and had such a great time. The staff really took care of us and the food was amazing. The decor is phenomenal it’s like you’re in a cave with all the beautiful wall art. Would definitely go again!
Delicious food and beautiful venue! The service was so thiughtful. It was my dad’s birthday and they usually have a larger birthday celebration so I told the waitor never mind on bringing that out for him because it would be too much. He thoughtfully surprised us with a small candle on our dessert and we sang happy birthday which was perfect for my dad. Definitely will be coming again!
An amazing time! Food was so good! Service on point, don’t hesitate to check this hidden gem out!
Service is very nice but a little slow. When they took away the plates, they didn’t ask if we wanted a box to take home. Food was good, a little on the pricey side. I recommend, the restaurant is wonderful inside, very very high style design.
Such a great time . The staff were amazing. Thanks 🙏🏿
Weekends are extremely busy. The hostesses were very unorganized. We had reservations for 9 and didn’t get our entrees until 11. Even once we were seated, it took another 25 minutes before our drink orders were taken. First drink I got had lipstick prints all over it. The food however is amazing. I don’t think you can go wrong, no matter what you order. We tried some of the best oysters we’ve ever had. The calamari and crab cakes were delicious as well. Our server Sam was great. Although busy, he made sure we were good. The ambiance is another plus. Also, I think it’s good to point out that none of the employees there wear masks. Literally no one. Overall, I’d definitely go again, just maybe not during the weekend.
Dear NyCali, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for sharing your compliments and your favorites dishes. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future! Per the NYC help department, it is not necessary for the employees to wear masks for work. All our staff are already vaccinated Best regards, Miguel
Food is delicious and ambiance is incredible, but service is HORRIBLE AND VERY SLOW
Shakshuka was very watery but the avo toast looked great. Bottomless brunch was exceptional and our waiters were amazing.
Dear GigiD, Such an amazing review truly thrills our team! Thank you for joining us, and for sharing your magnificent compliments. It would be our pleasure to welcome you again! Best regards, Miguel
The food was good but the service was odd. I think the guy working the outside tables should have had another server assigned. Two resources would have been more efficient.
Dear Bound2brunch, I have received your comments regarding your recent visit to Mykonos Bleu, and your feedback is appreciated and valued thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for sharing your compliments. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future! Best regards, Miguel.
Food took forever came out cold and wasn’t fully cooked
Pretty interior & decor! Unfortunately the restaurant week courses lacked flavor :/
Wait staff was amazing. Food was reasonable priced and delicious
When we arrived they did not have a table inside ready for us. We waited until they did and were seated at a nice table in the mezzanine. They were a hot short staffed and were tag teaming tables. The wrong appetizer was first brought to us but the waitress corrected it and sent out the correct one on the house which was much appreciated. The pasta entree was a bit small in serving size and the tuna steak was well done when we had requested chef’s preference. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was lively but I will not be rushing back.
Amazing food and ambience!
Amazing experience at Lamia’s. The restaurant is so beautiful. The lobster tostadas were out of this world. The striped sea bass, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were all delicious. And the brownie sundae was excellent. The servers were all extremely friendly and efficient, and made for a perfect dining experience. An awesome dining option in Alphabet City.
Lack of communication within staff delayed meals and contributed to the overall bad experience. The calamari was over cooked, and the seafood carbonara had one shrimp in the entire dish. We didn’t have an assigned waiter so it was hard to seek assistance.
The Lyft Ride to Lamia Fish Market was a surprise. When going to the East Villge I though it just for young crowed but when we enter Lamia Fish Makret was a different seen than the average East Villge Restaurant seen . We saw all ages and Families as well . The place is Huge with Multi level and Different Rooms. The Decorated Rooms is well done . Amblance is so good we enjoyed our Restaurant Week fix price the food is Amazing as well for the Value of $39 it worth double . The Fish is very fresh and Tasty . We Oder Oyster they all east cost very nice selections . The fogs is good . The Decor is good . It was a lot of Birthdays going on next us with the wait staff put on a show for tge birthday person . The Vibe is Great we felt we are like somewhere nowhere but New Yor City .
It was very hard to get a waiter- we had to get up and get one 2x. However, they brought everything we asked for. The place is beautiful, very loud inside bc it was packed. If you care about decor, this is the perfect place!
