The food was good but they took to long to bring everything out. As well it’s not a full bar.
Overcooked tuna (asked for medium rare). Fun birthday tradition
More of a young environment no hard liquor, food was okay. Great service just not my age crowd
Unfortunately the restaurant does not participate in the Restaurant Week deal on the weekends. We ordered off the regular menu which was fine, but our meals took a very significant amount of time before arriving to the table and when they did they were cold. Additionally, the portions are rather small considering the pricing. Cocktails were subpar as well. The ambience and decor in the restaurant is very pretty, might be a better place to go during the week when it’s less busy.
Fabulous Everything….Outstanding Service and Food
The food is terrible. You’re just paying for the ambiance. The restaurant allows you to get free oysters if you write a good review before you order/eat which accounts for the inflated 5 star reviews. Yes the vibe is great but the food is horrible, including the free oysters. This is definitely not a fish market.
Initially chose this place because of the decor and wasn’t disappointed! Every room is beautiful. Both food and service were great. Would definitely recommend (especially as a good date spot)!
Been here a couple times. Lobster Mondays is great, service , ambiance and hospitality is amazing. Thanks again to the manager Ania and our waitress Ella..
The food was good, nothing that WOWed me, they had a lot of items that were only served at certain times of the day. They did have a mix up with our order and my friend had to wait extra for his food. Half our party was late and they were very accomodating. The waiter was kind and he was very apologetic for the mix up, we had a good time, but nothing that was over the top. The drinks were great. We sat at the bar to wait for my friends and the bartender served one drink and forgot the other and left. One of the other workers was very kind and served the drink, he turned out to make a spicy marg instead of a sakeito, but turns out I liked the spicy marg more. Aesthetic and instagrammable are deff what gets this place.
Steak & Eggs is a must have! Truffle flatbread was also a winner. The staff was amazing, welcoming and pleasing.
This is my 5th time visiting Lamia’s and it gets better each and every time! I want to thank our server, Ella, for her attentiveness and care.
Food was amazing and the vibe is truly a gem! Highly recommend for birthdays or celebrations.
The food and ambiance was equally incredible and unforgettable. I can’t wait to return. The waitress was very kind and helpful as well.
The best brunch experience! This is my go to location for all big and small events. 10/10 recommend
An amazing experience!
Strange place. Server didn’t do a tasting when we bought a bottle of wine which isn’t a huge deal but just seemed kinda weird
Th tower delix of seafood is no fresh
I wish he fresh .
Cocteles are ok
They were out of a few menu items which was disappointing.
Enjoyed a Sunday brunch but this is a great space for any occasion.
Amazing food and service!
This place was extremely slow and hard to get the attention of waiters. The food was great but we had a 7:30pm reservation and didn’t get food until around 8:30. No appItizers we’re ordered either. Maybe they were having an off day…
The service is extremely slow and bathroom wasn't clean. The art inside is beautiful and restaurant has really eclectic decoration but food is very average but overpriced!
Really beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious and great value for money!! Will definitely be recommending!
I wish I could give it a zero but that’s not possible so I give it a 1. I came here with friends on NYE and the service was horrible. The chefs actually walked out and the servers ended up making the food which never came. I was there for 2 hours and had only been served drinks which took an hour to come.
Honestly you’re paying for the ambiance. The food isn’t great. The water also tastes like sink water. Wouldn’t go again
My boyfriend and I went here for date night and had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and so was the service. Looking forward to our next visit.
Spent 114.00 out of pocket after ordering appetizers, sides, tip and a glass of wine. Felt lured in after all was said and done.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. Our waitress, Sanja, was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions with accurate detail. The food was superb, some of the best seafood dishes we've ever had!
It was our wedding anniversary. At the end of the meal they surprised us with complimentary desserts and wine as well as an imitation torch and a bubble machine!
We will definitely be back and we highly recommend it!

Good food, not too generous portions, gorgeous ambiance
Second time coming here. First time was on a date night , second time was to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Service was impeccable. From the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave everything was great. The manager Ania , did a great job seating my friend and I at a great table and kept checking in on us throughout our visit, making sure we was well taken care of. You don’t really get that now a days in nyc. It’s nice to go somewhere and feel welcome. The waitress was also great and so accommodating. Food was 10/10. Drinks was good . We got the sangria, very refreshing. If you do go please try their fries!! Lightly salted , large portion , thin and crispy. Flat breads are also a great option for appetizer. I will definitely be back
As soon as I walked in the host greeted me with a smile. After I checked in and was seated, the manager came over to see how I was doing and asked what she can get for me. Talk about service. Loved how friendly and personable this experience was. The restaurant’s ambiance is great, it’s spacious and totally felt comfortable. The beer selection they have was perfect. Everything was wonderful, I will definitely be going back again soon. Actually I was already telling some of my other friends about Lamia’s and we will be planning a dinner there ASAP. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
I had been to Lamias before and I loved it. Then the second time around I didn’t love it so much. First of all I didn’t know they don’t sell hard liquor they should specify in the menu that their drinks are made base of Saki. Our waiter was David he seem very nice and we were happy with him because he spoke Spanish and My friends and I are latinas too from the Dominican Republic as he was. So we connected well. Once the check came our bill was $675 divide by 6 a total of $113 per person including tip. When we were paying one of my friend realized that the bill for each was for $191 each. Plus another bill because one of my friend card didn’t go tru. We felt he wanted to take advantage of us and take our money. Plus 3 of us had paid him cash. I didn’t initially think of it that way but my friend were very upset and disappointed not only about the mistake of the bill but also about the drinks since the beginning. I mean is a big jump from $113 to $191. I had asked for a nice seating area meaning where we can appreciate the decor instead we were seated downstairs ( not a great view of the restaurant) I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back after this.
Food took a long time. The waiter didn’t check on it until we asked her to.
Really fabulous fish, the raw, the flat bread the dorato.
It was just not great. Our waiter never came up to us after the first 20 mins of being seated. Then took forever to get our drinks and then came up to us 10 mins from the kitchen closing to take our order. We then gave him everything we needed which was ok until 2 hours later we are still waiting for an entree. After 11:30 ( we were there since 9:30), we just decided to get the check because we couldn’t wait any longer for the entree that Seemingly wasn’t coming. We had apps and some raw dishes but it wasn’t our entree. After we asked the waiter for the check and to pack our food. He gave us our check and had us waiting another 30 mins for food. It was a quarter to 12 we were 1 of 2 tables. And according to him the kitchen closed at 10. So why did we have to wait 2 hours for entree that he never handed us. I had to get up myself from the table and ask for our food to leave because our waiter continued to forget us. It honestly was not worth the experience. Definitely a TikTok place overblown because of the decor
We was early for our reservation but the hostess was very accommodating and seated us right away. Unfortunately, that was the ONLY good part about the night. The service was HORRIBLE, the server did not come to our table until about 30 mins after seating and to just get our drinks. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. We had to walk to the waiter about 3 times to inquire on the wait. If I was by myself, I would've left the restaurant right after the drinks. They do NOT service regular liquor, just saki, beer and wine. I will NEVER EVER go back there and I will NEVER recommend.
Really terrible service and long wait times for food - we ended up leaving before our entrees even came to the table
Great food, great service. We started with oysters, then I had the shrimp, my husband had the pasta with clams. Our server was lovely and attentive. The only criticism is that our table was dark - which we will rectify the next time we go (there will be a next time) by sitting in another location in the restaurant.
We wait 2 hours for our food .
