Awesome, will go again
Awesome food great price ! Beautiful decor and ambiance ...waitress very polite and friendly!
We loved it ! The food was amazing the decor is unbelievable ! Manager was so pleasant came to check up on us couple time asked if we needed anything else def going back for delicious oysters !!
I am not easily impressed but I have had two awesome experiences here for brunch. The tall manager with Blond hair, I wish I remembered her name remembered me from the first time and made both experiences extremely personable and unique. I love when my mimosas keep coming and she and her team was on top of it. I will definitely return. Keep up the great work!
The restaurant has an aquarium look and feels very nice. We sat outdoor on a Wednesday night for our date night. But we will definitely go back in the future to sit inside since it was really pretty. I felt like a kid again looking inside and admiring all the wall decor. Felt like I was part of one of my fave Disney movie, Little Mermaid.
Service is excellent and food was delicious. We ordered oysters, tuna tartar, and creme bulee for dessert. It was a perfect date night meal.
The food and quality and price is extraordinary! The service however is always less than. It takes forever for a server to come over and every time I dine here which is often people that have been seated after me are usually served before me.
Really fun bottomless brunch but not great on vegetarian or vegan options and you can’t change your drink order which was unexpected. Service could have been better.
I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AT THIS RESTAURANT, I MADE RESERVATIONS FOR INDOOR DINING WHEN WE ARRIVE WE GET A TABLE FOR TWO RIGHT ON THE SIDEWALK, AFTER WE ARE SAT DOWN, WE WAITED 20 TO GET THE MENUS. AFTER 20 MINUTES OF WAIVING DOWN SOMEONE THEY FINALLY TAKE OUR ORDERS, WE WAITED 1 HOUR FOR THE STARTERS “ I MUST SAY THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD” WE WAITED TWO HOURS AND STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN OUR DINNER, AT THIS POINT I WAS ALREADY OVER THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE SITTING IN THE COLD WITH NO ONE ATTENDING TO US. SUCH A GREAT BEAUTIFUL PLACE BUT THE SERVICE THERE IS THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED.
Great place for the ambiance, especially now that we can dine inside.
Food is excellent, try the lobster risotto.
The food was amazing and the folks were nice and attentive.
The Octopus was amazing! I highly recommend it. The Truffle flatbread was also great, though it was a large serving (enough for 2).
This place does not disappoint from the food, service or ambiance.
Very good food.
Chose this restaurant because the options in their menu satisfied everyone that night, when I got there they had a total different menu and none of the options I wanted. The service took forever, our waitress barely attended to us. Overall not what I expected from this restaurant and previous reviews.
Grilled octopus was perfect. Seared Scallops over corn succotash and Grilled Lobster for entree. Lawd, they did not disappoint!
Fantastic dinner and service!
Everything about this outdoor dining experience was spot-on. I can't recommend it quickly enough.
Cute place but food is disappointing. Some dishes came out cold and service was spotty at best. Quality was so so
The food was bland. I was extremely excited to try the restaurant, was very disapointed.
They have a nice outdoor area to eat. Appetizers were good - ceviche and octopus and oysters. however the mains were disappointing. Bronzino was oddly small and bland, but the worst was the mussels. They were not cleaned, lots of beards still on them, small/dried out and several smelled off. We didn't eat them. Also the curry lemongrass sauce was tasteless and strange. Covid or no covid, a reduced menu like they have needs to be good.
I took my Boyfriend here for dinner on his birthday. Excellent service and wonderful foods. Outdoor seating is exceptional comfortable and spacious during COVID-19. We ordered 2 appetizers: chef’s special ceviche and grilled octopus. And 2 entrees: Grilled sea bream and steamed clams in white wine. I would recommend the grilled octopus, it’s super delicious. The steamed clams are super fresh come in a nice pot. Would like to come back more often if the location is not a little out of the spot.
We've been there twice in the past two weeks. Wonderful restaurant. Beautiful spot, delicious food and great service. Will be back again and again!
As I wrote on Yelp, I was thrilled to find this restaurant while walking around the neighborhood. Not only is it the only restaurant with soft comfortable outdoor chairs but the menu has everything my husband and I love: paella, whole fish, oyster bar, bouillabaise, pasta with seafood, etc. And it didn't disappoint. We went two Saturdays in a row, ordering the paella and seafood carbonara. Subjective complaint on the paella: too much squid for my husband, too many mussels for me. Otherwise delicious and satisfying. The staff was gracious and considerate as well. I give it 4-1/2 stars!
Very good curry muscles, but they got rid of the Prefix menu.
Terrific service. Oysters were outstanding.
Very nice setup for safe outdoor dining- comfortable dining chairs with adequate spacing on a raised floor, outdoor planter dividers with an overhead tent.
Nice wine, beer and sake options.
Many great items on the menu
Small plates/appetizers/salad- Almost too many choices for me
They do seafood well, but I was almost tempted to try their Amish chicken..
Dishes were simple but spiced perfectly
Two desserts we shared disappeared in seconds
Would definitely return to try more of their menu
Wait staff friendly and attentive
Food was excellent but the service was very poor. It was not busy either.
Great place. Because of Covid only outdoor dining is allowed. We lucked out it was a beautiful cool Wednesday evening and not much noise. I expect it to be noisier on weekends! As per our fantastic waiter Frank G.'s recommendation we stuck with mostly fish dishes. The oysters and clams are great, the grilled octopus is fantastic! Wife had the whole broiled Stripped Bass and it was great! The seafood there is very fresh, staff is excellent. We will be returning!
Food was unexceptional. Fried calamari was tough. Waitperson brand new and didn't know anything about the menu. Beautiful inside, nice outside.
We had such a lovely meal. The grilled octopus and Caesar salad were so delicious. The branding was perfect to share it was so big. We also loved the tuna tartare which was a little spicy but so fresh and tasty. Will definitely return.
Everything from start to finish was amazing!!!
Crab cakes were amazing and so were the white sangria.
The best bang for your buck is the bottomless brunch at $35 including a meal. The seafood was so fresh a delicious, and I couldn’t believe the price, especially after glancing at the dinner menu. Even though we dined outside due to Covid, we were able to use the restroom inside and look at the amazing interior design. Highly recommend.
This was my second visit at Lamia and not sure what happened or if I got the backup to the backup chef was in the kitchen. I regretted ordering the pasta carbonara which was very bland and the sauce smothered the seafood. The fish and chips didn't taste fresh, maybe the oil used to fry the fish was old too. Just stick to the fresh seafood platter and you're solid.
The lemongrass curry sauce was amazing! Better than the meal and the dessert! Also the service was superb.
Love this restaurant!! From the beautiful design, to most friendly and knowledgeable staff and great food!! Overall, me and my friend had a amazing time!!
Exceptional food. The linguini and clams pasta was excellent; so were the langostines. The fish vere well grilled. Great spot.
Nice brunch experience. Bottomless cocktails are no joke! Great DJ. Bouboulena.
Hi there, Thank you for stopping by for brunch! We're glad you enjoyed the experience and the Bottomless. We hope to see you again soon.
3/7/20- Cannot be more accommodating, Ray was a wonderful host & the fish is great . Try the butterfly preparation of the grilled Gish or the bouillabaisse, can’t go wrong with either
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to write this. We're so glad you enjoyed your experience and we hope to see you again soon!
Amazing! It was my birthday dinner and they really did everything in their power to make me feel special!
Would go back in a heart beat.
Happy belated birthday! We're thrilled you chose us to celebrate with, and we're glad we could make an unforgettable moment that much more special. We look forward to seeing you again! Cheers to 30!
