    Terrible food, terrible service, overall just plain terrible and a waste of time and money. Very disappointed and sad that such a beautiful restaurant inside could have such terrible service and food.

    This was the worst dining experience we have ever had! The restaurant didn’t inform us that the menu was limited to Prix Fixe until we were seated ( it was Valentines Day) very limited menu - appetizers were very fishy. We never got our flatbread and my wife’s lobster was raw while my Branzino was burnt to a black char. NEVER AGAIN!

    We ordered the oysters and they were super fresh. Best oysters I ever had. As a main course we had the salt baked fish. We loved the way they set it up on fire and it was very succulent

    Best place to dine if you are looking to feel like a mermaid underwater. Antonio gave us excellent recommendations for our first time in the restaurant. Delicious food and excellent service.

    The restaurant is beautiful but they need to train the waitresses and hire a few more who are capable of handling large crowds. It took 30 minutes for my drink order to arrive. The food was extremely salty and uneventful. Definitely wasn’t a birthday experience for me. I won’t return.

    Made a reservation for 6 and the table was only set for 5 people - Not a big deal. We waited as they added another table. Took 30 min before someone came to take our order and then another 30 min before we got our drinks. The drinks took so long, they came after the food. The food itself was average. I don’t know if most of the staff were new, but they weren’t friendly and looked angry to be there. When we asked basic questions about a couple items on the menu, the waitress didn’t know anything and rolled her eyes. We waited for a while but eventually had to ask for the check 3 times before someone brought it over and it was incorrect. I asked to speak to a manager and they sent over the host. I politely asked if they could correct our check and also do something to make up for the inconveniences. He was also rude and interrupted me and said “I’ll handle it.” He did take a few items off the check, which was nice, but it was such a bad experience that none of us will be coming back.

    It was a hot mess… we come to NY a lot and this is by far the worst place we have came too. The servers didn’t know what they were doing, the calamari was wayyy to chewy as well as the octopus. The branzino was the best dish we had. They just need to work on presentation and making sure the servers know the menu etc.

    Food was OK but not for that value. Service was very poor, my worst experience in NYC. At the entrance the girl stopped eating after some time to check our reservation. Next the waiter has no glue on the wine/bubbles list and the selected bottle was not available. After two steps we were colors to finish the food, then the wine show up. Additionally first and second course come together. Really a mess. They have to train the people better - sorry so say. I wish all a better service crew

    Lovely place, food was very good and good value. So many interesting theme rooms. Service was a little slow but staff was apologetic. All was good. Oils come back again.

    worst experience and my new years was ruined. they claim they don’t se open table reservations. they did seat us. didn’t apologize. didn’t accommodate us in any way shape or form. not even look us in the eye. we were treated like we weren’t there.

    First off where do I even start! This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and what makes it even worst is that it was on my anniversary. My husband and I purchased the NYE package deal 2 weeks in advance and made a reservation for 9:45pm on December 31st. We took an Uber for $85.00 just to get there early for our reservation. We got there at 9:35pm and the host told us that there’s a wait of 20 min , I though okay that’s fine although we had a reservation I still thought to myself things happen let’s wait. 20 min turned to 1 hour and 45min before we got seated. At this point my man was already annoyed. After seating down it took another 15 min for the waitress to take our orders . After taking our orders , she came 20 min later to tell us that “unfortunately the kitchen is backed up and I don’t want to have you guys waiting any longer so it’s best to just go else where” I asked her what would happen to the tickets for the 4 course meal we paid for and she simply said that her boss was on vacation and that she’ll let her know when she’s back” LAMIA I am disappointed that this beautiful 4 star restaurant that my husband and I loved so much and wanted to celebrate our anniversary turned to a Mcdonals on New Year’s Eve. What a way to end 2022 . Like it’s so messed up to experience something like this on your special night. Please do better. I would also like to be refunded the $223.00 we paid for food we never ate.

    Went there New Year’s Eve. The reservation was at 8:30pm, we got there 8:15pm and waited at the bar till 8:45pm for the table to be ready. Waitress came to say hello and took the order at 9pm, the first course didn’t come until 10 pm after we complained about it and the manager was rude to say “everybody is waiting so wait” without a sorry. The first course was served twice, the main courses were served wrong and took more time to get the correct one. Asked for the check 3 times and took more than 30 minutes to get the check. When we left the restaurant it’s already 1:30am January 1st. We wasted 5 hours in this restaurant, about 4.5 hours waiting for the food, and the food is not that good. The only highlight of the night would be the friendly kitchen staff, they served us. We were trying to communicate in Spanish with google translation cuz they don’t speak English and our waitress who speaks English never showed up and check on us after taking the order.

    Terrible experience all the way around! They were tremendously understaffed for NYE. No exaggeration, the food took an hour and 45 mins. For that entire time we sat with water ONLY even though we repeatedly asked our waiter for cocktails and updates on our food. We were in complete disbelief with service and the food simply didn’t live up to the hype after such an extended wait time. It appears that no one is managing this place. The team was literally arguing and cursing at each other, the bartender was nice but seemed completely under water and trying to play catch up. I would never recommend this place for any situation. Very disturbing that they took on so many customers on an important day just to offer them horrendous service.

    Worst experience ever. The management of this establishment is clearly incompetent. Came here for NYE dinner and it was truly a nightmare. Our reservation was at 8 and it was supposed to be a 5 course special menu. By 11pm we had only received our first course. Our waiter was no where to be found the entire evening and it was obvious they were completely understaffed. $700 later we never ate dinner because the food never came. 3 hours of the worst service I have ever experienced. Will not be coming back and the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

    If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I came here for our New Years Eve dinner - which also happens to be our wedding anniversary. While we were sat almost right away for our 8pm reservation, we quickly noticed that no one around us had food, and there there no servers to be seen. After 40 minutes of STILL not being greeted, my husband went to the bar to get our own drinks. Finally, about 10 minutes later, a very frazzled server came to take our drink order - as we were were concerned we'd never see her again, we went ahead and ordered or food. The menu was a price fix (a fact not disclosed when we made the reservation), so there were limited items, and the server didn't even know what some of the dishes were. We managed to get our first course pretty quickly but then no food. We soon noticed that every one around us was getting upset. Tables, like us were sitting for long periods of time with out being greeted. Food that would come out were going to the wrong table. We finally hear from a bartender that apparently 4 servers had walked out that night. Regardless by 11pm - when we STILL had not had dinner - and of course midnight was approaching (and we had to relieve our babysitter who we had promised we'd be home around 10pm) we gave the server some money and left with out two of the courses, dessert or the promised champagne toast. Our dinner ended up being sandwiches from the deli - thanks Lamia for a terrible anniversary/ NYE meal. I will never ever come back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone UNLESS it changes hands. It's a beautiful place but is clearly horribly run.

    I’ve seen so many reviews on bad service but I’ve been here twice and had some of the best service and food I’ve ever had in New York! Officially my dads new favorite restaurant so I’ll be returning. And the staff is so kind and happily takes pictures with you along with suggestions spots. Can’t beat that!

    The restaurant was Absolutely beautiful inside. Seating was comfortable, immediately greeted with a beverage. Menu is on an iPad very easy to navigate. Food was fresh and delicious and came out in a timely manner. Wait staff was absolutely incredible not over bearing and so pleasant. The environment and food were absolutely excellent and we will be returning!

    The staff was terrible. We waited 40 min for a order of shrimp cocktail ( 4 shrimp on ice ) I mentioned in my reservation that i was for a birthday. We did not got ANYTHING. Our order came backwards ( main dishes before appetizers ) I still gave our waitress 20% tip due to the fact that these kids are under paid but my god please dont go there if you want to have a nice service in a chill restaurant. Its loud and nobody take care of you.
