Good food but the entrees and drink prices were overpriced.
Had a nice dinner, both the appetizer and entrees were very good! Had to wait for a table despite reservation because we decided a table outside was preferred. The bartender was helpful and served me an excellent drink. Only problem was that a “leisurely” dinner look less than an hour. As we are from out of town we expected to relax over dinner far longer. The entrees arrived very shortly after the appetizer. Because we ate in a rushed manner there was no room for dessert/coffee. We didn’t understand the rush because there wasn’t a crowd waiting. However I would probably eat here again beyond the quality of the food!
The noise level in the lower floor makes it impossible to interact with anyone. From the other reviews I understand it is worse upstairs. I guess The reason is too many people in there. I can imagine that they might have been hurt during the pandemic. But packing people like cattle is not the way to recover from it. A real disappointed for a place this good (and for such very high price).
Delicious and fresh
Gorgeous spot with an endlessly delicious menu. Will be back!
Pour service. Long time to take our order of meal after sitting. Again server didn’t come to take our desert order and we gave up. I regret I picked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner. Out Server had a beautiful long hair but she should tie her hair. Food was salty.
The ambiance is incredible, it’s warm and inviting. The cocktails are delicious, but the food is outstanding! I recommend the quest with burnt ends appetizer. The Bar upstairs is something out of a movie.
Mac and cheese and short ribs. WOW!!
Order was messed up multiple times.
To be honest. The food was decent but plain. The boar ribs and broccoli stood out. The clams barbecued were absolute rubber if not for the VERY delicious broth and two thick pieces of the finest Texas toast ever that really was the only thing that blew me away. My fiancée left for ten minutes to use the bathroom, and suddenly the server became so attentive it was beyond belief. We wanted to order more drinks and food, he was nowhere to be found in a very slow restaurant. She left and he was on me every two minutes about checks and boxes and plates and etc. this place has great bbq sauce and some fabulous cornbread. But alienating and inattentive service
Great service, band playing, drinks were delicious! We had boar ribs, 3 meat plate with extra brisket (so we can share) that came with sausage, brisket, and ribs. All of the meat selections were so good, moist, full of flavor! For side we had greens and mac, the greens were delicious and tasted very fresh not at all soggy and full of flavor, the Mac was perfection. We have raspberry vodka drink and an old fashion... Both made perfectly and yummy! Several seating options, indoor, outdoor, upstairs... Overall we enjoyed the space, the food and drinks, and great attentive service!
Great food, service and live music. Everyone was friendly.
Sasha was the best server ever! So sweet and kind!
Delicious meal with my family! Would definitely return… food was yummy, patio was spacious & comfortable and staff was very helpful & friendly.
best brisket and mac n cheese We ever had. Server was super nice.
Everything was delicious, great ambiance highly recommend.
Great food and great service.
Great food and service (as usual), this is always a staple as it is walking distance to everything downtown.
The food was incredible. Ambiance superb. Such a great vibe. Amazing and authentic TX BBQ in an elevated and classy setting. Perfect for entertaining out-of-town guests.
Great food and service, but if you want to talk during the meal, it is a bit loud. And tables are close together.
Great as always! What a pleasure! Best place to go for dinner in town.
Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back. I do wish they had a changing table for people with babies (me) otherwise no complaints. Get the brisket & fried pickles!
This place crushes it every time. The food is creative and absolutely phenomenal, the atmosphere is a beautiful combination of gritty warehouse and amazing art (do not miss the enormous Texas landscape piece that hangs over the kitchen pass-through) and the staff is some of the best in the city. This is a great place to hit before a show at Moody, for a family get together or for a date. These guys “slay all day.” You won’t be sorry you are here.
Exquisito! BBQ, brísquet y salchicha buenísimos, probe un vino texano por primera vez, un Chenin Blanc, me gusto mucho
Amazing. Highly recommend
I love Lamberts! The decor is outstanding, as is the food and service.
Food was decent. I had higher hopes for the brisket, but the flavor just wasn’t there. Super moist but lacked proper seasoning. The barbecued clams were everything! That bread at the bottom that soaked up all of that delicious sauce was amazing. Dessert was good. I would have preferred key lime. Crust was a bit thick for me. Overall a great dining experience.
We haven’t been to Lamberts in several years, I honestly forgot all about it. However, I saw an ad for it on some social media spot and decided to go back. It was delicious!!! Somehow we just stumbled into all-night happy hour (Mondays). Cocktails they come out hot!!!!) and the queso was pretty good; lots of flavor. My husband and I shared the cheeseburger (cooked perfectly) and the Cobb salad with chicken for dinner. The burger was great but had a lot going on. Very messy!! The salad was good; chicken is a must-add as it adds a lot of flavor. We ended with the peach upside down cake. It was good but I was so full at that point that I couldn’t eat much.
Additionally, I had the Bees Knees drink; very good but very strong. My husband had some cab and he liked it good enough to order 2 glasses.
Our server, Joseph, was attentive without being overly so. We will def go back next time we are downtown…especially if it’s a Monday!!!
This place had a really cool ambiance indoors and outdoors. We sat outside where there was a nice breeze, though it was a bit warm and dark. We could hear the live music playing from upstairs which was really nice. Service was a little slow but the server was kind and the food was excellent. We reserved a few days in advance because the prime times did book up indoors (we changed from an indoor 7pm to an outdoor 8pm because we weren’t going to make it anymore). Only waited about 3 mins to be seated.
This is definitely a higher price tag than you’ll pay for BBQ around town but we treated this as our “nice dinner” on our trip to ATX and felt that the roast chicken, burnt end queso, and brisket was worth it.
The jalapeno roasted broccoli was also a really tasty and unique side. We put some of the queso on top. The chicken was juicy inside and had crispy pieces outside. The brisket pulled right apart. This is a solid dinner option in Austin. I’d recommend it.
You really need to try Angus Short Rib and Brisket.
On Mondays hit is ½ price appetizers and some 1/2 price entrees all night. It made it easier to sample several and they were delicious! Clams were great…and the ceviche…and the ribs!
They were amazing
Went for our 37th anniversary lunch. Delish. Especially the mezcal Fresca! Jonathan our waiter was the best. Totally recommend!
From start to finish, Lambert’s delivered on all check points. Gorgeous hostesses who were sweet and welcoming. Friendly bartender serving up well proportioned, delicious cocktails. And then there was our amazing server Matthew!!!! Oh wait, food. . . well, take a second tummy because you’ll leave full and satisfied. We had the Wild Boar ribs app - a must have!!!! The tender, well spiced meat literally fell off the bones. Wedge was slightly over dressed, but still delicious and the tomatoes were bursting with flavor - did I mention the bacon was warm? We both got the brisket, suggested by Matthew, after some debate on which dinner to choose and we were VERY happy we listened to him. So tender, not too much fat, and seasoned & burnt on the edges perfectly. We added the mac’n cheese and were again, not disappointed. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!
It was a very hot walk outside from our hotel to get there. I was hoping it would be nice and cool inside but the room temp was uncomfortably warm. Food was great but I was disappointed that the fried green tomato salad was not available. Service was very good.
The food was delicious and the space was really neat
Great food and experience at Lambert's. First time in Austin so I was really looking for authentic bbq. This was the spot! Favorite order: wild boar ribs - AMAZING
Three of us visited and the brisket,l and pork ribs were fantastic. The steak was good but a little disappointing for a place known for their meat. The experience and service was great though and would definitely recommend Lambert's.
Great service and excellent food!
We had a great time! The food was delicious and the interior was really beautiful. Our only issue was the noise level, it was really loud inside.
