it was so obviously great. nothing more to say. go to this restaurant
So happy to have found Lalito. WIll definitely be back with family and friends.
Usually I do not write negative reviews. This time unfortunately food was really not worth the price, very few options in the menu, either very salty or not tasty.
Worst was at the end when our family, 3 adults and 2 kids (+ 1 infant) was counted as a group and forced to leave mandatory 20% tip!
Lalito is my new favorite restaurant. Each dish had a flavor that was so unique and didn’t clash with the next. Can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time. Service was excellent. Thank you!
Excellent and unique food and cocktails, great happy hour deals, and friendly service. If you're looking for somewhere on the quiet side, go early.
Yes! We loved it, Luis our server was awesome and recommend our favorite plates.
I love this place and Kia and Carla! They made my birthday so special! I will be back!
Food is delicious. Restaurant is simple but clean.
Wonderful everything! Absolutely delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and lovely service. Always look forward to going back!
Food was tasty! Service a bit slow. Had my birthday dinner here and was a good vibe.
First time here for brunch and it was outstanding. All of us got different items on the menu and each was amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Will be coming back as often as I can!
DISAPPOINTED. Please do not go here until the management figures out how to stock a kitchen. I made a reservation for brunch in Sunday for 12:45 and behold almost nothing on the brunch menu was available as the kitchen had run out of ingredients. We ordered the tacos with a chicken add-on but they had No Chicken! How can a restaurant run out of chicken so early in the day ?? They were out of the olive oil cake, they had no hurache so the avocado toast was unavailable. It was such a disappointment we left. What a waste of day. do something about this.
Worst service. We has to wait over one hour to be served and food was cold. Will never return. It is also pretty expensive...
Staff were great as was the food but our table was much too small for a party of 3. We spilled our drinks a few times due to lack of space. Otherwise, great restaurant!
Love Lalito!!! It was so good !
Everything we tried we loved.
This is a cool spot, with great branding and a nice mixed crowd. The halloumi is really delicious but Im afraid we had to wait a long time to get all our food, despite being there early evening when the place was only a quarter full. We got our drinks at different times (I had to ask twice for mine) and then we were asked to move tables - our server was truly lovely about it and even gave us a free pudding - but overall, this plus the small portion sizes fore the cost made for a patchy experience.
Amazing experience. Went with a group of 8 friends, all with different dietary restrictions, and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and understanding about making changes. Would highly recommend for brunch!
Don't let the exterior of this place deter you, the food is incredible.
Enjoyed the fun vibe of the restaurant; a bit retro and playful inside. Great service & well prepared food. Did not try the cocktails.
Loved Lalito!!! Must go, the food was fabulous, the decor was on point. The bathrooms were a tropical disco. The cocktails were to die for. Nothing not to like.
Super food. Nice small plates. Great drinks. Crisp fun and unusual flavors.
The food is always interesting and imaginative and the wait staff always knowledgeable and friendly. I've taken numbers of different friends there and they've all been very happy with the choice.
Great food, great music, great service. Simple as that!
I spent $30 on 1/2 of a chicken that was dry and mediocre. The last time I went to this restaurant in 2016 the food was way better. They previously used fresh corn tortillas that were amazing. This time we were given flour tortillas you would but at a grocery store. I did enjoy their cocktails but was disappointed by the food given the high price.
I went when it first opened and I was underwhelmed. I had a much better meal the second time. If you're looking for an upscale date night spot in the Chinatown area and you think Mission Chinese is overrated and pretentious, I would go here.
booked a table for 4 -reseated our group of 3 to tiny table
not possible to sit or eat comfortably . I done regularly since opened -if manager not there restaurant falls very short -has ups & downs but this time was treated so poorly will not be returning.
It was such a nice meal except that one of the dishes that two of us ordered was SO SALTY that it was inedible. We let the kitchen know and we hope that the new chef is successful.
Great food - enjoyed the shishito peppers, guac (had chickpeas too!), Shrimp and lamb. All the drinks were great too
Our waiter was great and he made what would have been a terrific meal even better. He was friendly and informative. He made excellent suggestions as to what to order--cocktails, entrees, sides and dessert--and he was always right. He was attentive but not intrusive. And had a nice sense of humor. We all loved him.
great food. lots of buzz, people standing around which made it a bit too loud! needs more acoustic treatment.
Waitress was extremely annoying. She kept coming over and bothering us every 5 minutes trying to take our food away. Then when we were done, she gave us a dessert menu, and never came back for 30 minutes, while she was just flitting around the restaurant and socializing with the staff. So first she wouldn't leave us alone, then she completely ignored us. When we finally got her attention and asked for the check, she never acknowledged the dessert menu sitting on the table, which she never asked if we wanted dessert.
It’s a vibe. With great food.
One is greeted by super friendly staff and seated swiftly. The food is creative and delicious with options for every diet. Fun libations too. We loved it and I think that you will too
Worth the trip downtown. Cool place with ummm food
Great food in a really unique, fun, space. Check put the bathrooms!
Lalito is my favorite spot in the city. Food is amazing, lovely attention, tge menu changes frequently and the ambience is very cozy. The best place for a date after a massage in Chinatown.
