Service and food were excellent. Also one of the best margaritas we’ve had.
Hooray for Court Street! This is our destined to become our go-to for casual nights in the neighborhood. There's nothing fussy about this Asian-Mexican meld; it's tasty, fresh and fun, and the (frequently overworked) staff gives great service. We could do with less noise, but that's just us.
Very cool and creative things are happening in this kitchen! The mofongo was amazing and highly recommended. The ssam letuce wraps are a flavorful lo-carb option that truly rocks. Downtown location with easy parking nearby. Nice vibe, friendly service, excellent value.
The food was delicious and inventive. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I look forward to eating here again.
20 minutes later and only water. Not even a menu!
We came here for dinner before a show at the Aronoff. The food was fantastic and we had great service. It’s also a quick walk to the Aronoff as well. Will be back!
This place is top notch and the food is unbelievable!! We will be back.
Got our drinks wrong, got our food wrong, food that was right wasn’t good. Server was really nice, so there’s that.
Really wanted to like it. Just very basic flavor and drinks we not inspiring
Our favorite spot for pre-game dinner for FCC games.
Delicious fusion food, attentive service, comfortable outdoor seating options, what more could you want? Try literally anything, the whole menu is great (I love the mexi pad Thai)
Despite I booked a table and got seated in the bar, the food and the service was amazing!!!
This was my second time back because I wanted to try everything on the menu! Great food
I am madly in love with LaLo. We’ve been here 6 times in the past month and a half, and we haven’t even begun to get our fill. The new location on Court Street (which is truly THE sweetest street) is just right. The servers are wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. Their chips — there aren’t words to describe these chips, other then to say they are perfection...as is their guacamole, queso, and BOTH salsas. (Get their chip/dip sampler. Truly. I’ve never felt so passionately about a chip, and we could just drink the salsa.) We’re crazy about their tacos — each one a delicious fusion of Latin & Asian flavors. Their margaritas are also wonderful (no skimping on the spirits here). And they have a nice selection of draft beers. LaLo has quickly moved into our top 3 favorite Cincy restaurants (and we’re notoriously picky)!
We started with the Dip the Chips Sampler. The chips are a bit brittle but otherwise this was very good. Our table split tacos, ceviche and fajitas. All were great. Service was very attentive, helpful and friendly. This will be a regular spot for us.
This was our first visit to LALO. The menu sounded great and the prices were excellent. We ordered two appetizers (zucchini fries and Kim Chi dumplings). Both were excellent. Our entrees were the Mexicain Pad Thai and the Cuban banh-mi Barbacoa. The food was outstanding.
Our waiter was the only server there tonight and he worked his tail off! We were in and out in an hour and he wasn’t shaken or rattled, he ran the place well. He was polite and smiled and did an amazing job. We were very impressed and we’ll be back
Best pad Thai I’ve ever had! Our server was new and did a great job.
Loved the food and the decor!
We had reservations for a birthday dinner and the service was fantastic, food was excellent and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for! Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
Such incredible taste combinations!
The food was great but the service was very slow.
unfortunately not that good. I know you just moved but you guys are not ready yet. Service was dreadfully slow. Food was just OK. It will take me some time to want to come back. Maybe I will forget this effort, quickly.
It was great
The food was very good. The servers were trying, but could not handle the people that were coming in. Appeared that they had speciality house drinks, but there was no drink menu to see them. The restaurant could do very well if they figured out how to manage better
it was well, the times we had could not match that of any other mexican place. service was phenomenal
the food and direct service were good. kitchen got a bit slammed and forgot our order.
First time here and definitely will be back! Variety of items to choose from and the food was tasty. I love the lettuce wrap selections!
Such a delicious unique menu. We loved every plate we tried and the staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable.
Excellent Service, fun music and atmosphere, and, most importantly, fun/unique/yummy food options. Lettuce wraps were fresh and surprisingly large (Coconut Lime Shrimp, Honey Chipotle Chicken, and Poblano Mushroom). Each were very good. Wife's Mexi Bibimbap was fresh and she could make out the individual tastes of all the ingredients. Highly recommend their dip sampler and be prepared to want to eat all of their chips :)
Great experience first time there
Great time and great food with awesome staff! I would go back.
Such a underrated gem! Good food, but wouldn’t say authentic though. I had lomo saltado which is a Peruvian dish, the flavors were good but this was not authentic. I would say it’s fusion, good flavors, but not authentic. Nice menu and range to choose from.
Was in Cincy/Northern Kentucky for the weekend for a kids soccer tournament. Looked on Opentable for recco for a family dinner in Cincy on Sat night.
Was initially worried about the many reviews that rated slow service. Tried it anyways bc the food pics looked really good. Very happy we did.
Very good food, great portions, great value, awesome service.
Excellent experience and glad we tried Lalo!
Not enough staff. We waited over an hour to get our food. Our waiter kept forgetting to get us what we asked for. We understood their challenges and still want to support the restaurant, but it wasn’t a fun experience this time.
Went there last Saturday night. The service was horrible. I had read reviews that the service was not great but I wanted to give it a try. There is no excuse for not hiring enough staff. We got lucky, made a reservation and were seated right away but we were the only ones. Everyone behind us wasn’t even greeted for 10-20 minutes (not sure why they even stayed). Woman finally comes to them and says hello and then wait one minute and never returns.
We ordered drinks and then We were given second server after 10 minutes and were told the first one was too busy. So we had to order drinks again and an appetizer. Appetizer took 70 minutes to come out. At that point the restaurant started to clear out a bit. Our food finally came another 45 minutes later. When I got up to go to the bathroom every table in the restaurant was either dirty (about 70%) or had people at it.
Hire another server and maybe a busser. Get more people in the kitchen. I completely understand that you moved locations but don’t open up until you have enough staff. Also be honest with your guests when they arrive. If you can’t seat them let them know. They would appreciate that more than standing for an hour. At least give them a chance to go somewhere else.
Good food. Good price. Terrible service
Was not clean at all.
Was very crowded, with little distance between tables.
Food was average. The lack of cleanliness probably also made the food less appetizing.
Food felt tasteless and almost pre-made/frozen. Service was fine but the food was incredibly disappointing.
Our server was wonderful, very friendly and attentive as were the owners. Had the combo appetizer which was wonderful, homemade chips, salsa, tomatillo sauce, guacamole & queso. Thought that the Mexican pad thai was the standout entree at our table. My comment about atmosphere should not be taken seriously as they are moving to a new and very attractive location any day now. Please check it out! Would definitely go back!
Great experience.. excellent food.. and outstanding service..
