   Amazing doesn’t begin to describe today’s lunch. The service was impeccable- the food delicious and the view was outstanding. Cheap, course not, but it could have been more expensive than it was and still being good value. We had prawn cocktail which has the biggest and meatiest prawns ever. 4 of them filled a good size bowl. Plenty of sauce to accompany and a half of lemon so not to run out. My husband had the scotch egg which was good but a little more unusual visually to the scotch eggs he gets from out of our kitchen at home. Not traditional but yummy and interesting. Then for our main we took a rotisserie chicken and table side Cesar salad that we hadn’t realized was a bit of an interactive show. Fun. Nice touch and delivered the tastiest Cesar I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was moist and tasty with crispy skin and went down well. The team interacted really well and appropriately and we were allowed to sit for a long time and view the lake and the snow started coming down right on cue in time for the coffees coming out. Husband had a perfectly constructed lemon meringue and blueberry tart. Perfect lakeside lunch. 5 stars all round.

   Beautiful setting, but a disappointing experience overall. We had lunch here with a reservation and asked to be seated on the patio. We were told it was fully booked and were seated inside by the window — no problem. When a two-person patio table opened up right in front of us, we asked if we could move. The hostess said that table was already booked. Fair enough — until we saw a couple walk in, skip the host stand, speak with another host, and get seated at that exact table. They eventually moved to another table, but it left a bad impression of how inconsistently guests were treated. The food was just okay. Our server was kind / matter of fact but awkward, and overall the experience felt underwhelming — especially for a Fairmont property. There are so many incredible restaurants in Banff. I’d recommend exploring elsewhere.

   If we could give more than 5 stars we would! This restaurant has the most surreal views of Lake Louise. It’s a special piece of heaven on earth. Lakeside Restaurant has the most amazing service and exceptional food! Everything was perfect for our romantic romantic getaway. The table side Cesar and the roasted chicken was the best of this type! Every bite was flavourful and delicious! Thank you Chahat for being the sweetest and thoughtful of staff. To Will, you are a true gentleman! And thank you Durca for checking in with us.

   Beautiful view of the lake. The food is okay. They served cold coffee. We had to ask for new brew. The food is so so and service is bellow average.

   The relation between price and quality isn’t there. The view is amazing , unfortunately this time was lots of construction around . The menu has very limited choices, mostly sandwiches that are really costly , nothing exceptional for the cost you’re paying for. Servers are nice but not at the standard of a “High standard” place .

   Beautiful view and top service, but expect to pay CAD$50 per main course. Surprisingly, beer is very affordable.

   Environment/View is great, but the food we ordered is toooo salty and expensive, not valuable if you just want to enjoy the food.

    Thank you TJ for the world class service we have always enjoyed at all of the Fairmont properties. Ryan’s table side Caesar salad presentation is entertaining to watch & so delicious to eat. Thank you also Mackenzie for the private tour of The Gold Lounge. We will definitely be back.
