   The event was planned to bring together family from the UK, Michigan and North Carolina. The hotel could not have been more helpful to accommodate us all. The staff were engaging and informed about food and drinks. We had a fantastic time and are grateful to all of the staff.

   Emanda provided excellent service! From start to finish she was attentive and kind. We fully enjoyed our time at the lakeside kitchen and bar. The food was exceptional! Thanks for a great brunch!

   Well,we Tried to dine here today for Mothers Day. We arrived a few minutes early, had to wait for a table to be set. We were waiting for the rest of our party of 5, we had reservations for 1:45. After 5 minutes another hostess asked me if she could help me? I said we had already checked in, they were getting a table ready. She appeared very put out, I said we have a reservation. The guy who was here before checked us in. I had my 85 yr old mother with me, awaiting my in-laws, my motherinlawuses a cane, cannot walk great distance so the valet option was a plus. However, when we finally were seated, after 25 minutes of No recognition, No one even came over to acknowledge us and there was plenty of wait staff. We just wanted a glass of water for my mom..no recognition from ANYONE. We just got up at that point and left. Thankfully, my in-laws had not arrived so we had to make alternate plans. Went to the Tavern, seated right away, delicious food, great service. Do yourself a favor, don’t go to the Lakeside.

   Restaurant and property appears to be marketed as high end with a high end price point. Food was ok nothing spectacular, same for service and overall ambiance. It was over $300 for a family of four with gratuity included. At that price point you are competing with higher end restaurants such as Capital Grill, with significantly lower food quality.

   We came as a family of 5 and had a great table. The location is great and restaurant is beautiful and had such a great atmosphere. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. Not many choices on the brunch menu. Overall we had a great time.

   Renamed to Lakeside kitchen & Bar - a disappointing experience & will not want to be returning here. We’ve been here before for brunch on a number of different occasions & have always enjoyed it. However, today the service was exceptionally slow with no obvious cause. We waited at least 20 minutes before water came out & even longer for our order to be taken. My food came out but not my wife’s due to a mix up. Rather than taking the plates back to bring out all the food together, my plate was left for me to start with a promise my wife’s food would be out quickly. My eggs were not as I had ordered. Although I ate as slowly as I could I had finished my food before my wife’s had arrived another 20 minutes later. My wife did not want to eat on her own, so we sent it back. I accept we were (rightly) not charged for my wife’s meal, but an apology from the management team wouldn’t have been amiss. I’m sad, we will no longer be able to recommend this place to anyone as somewhere to have a pleasant experience! Disappointing.

   The restaurant was practically empty but we only saw our server 3 times. I felt like service was slow. For an Autograph collection hotel, we should be getting more attention. They had no options for coffee, no flavors or flavored creamer. We were sat outside (our choice) but there are no shade structures and no fans. Entire deck is in direct sunlight. Valet was easy and simple to use, so that was good. But we had gone by the menu on Google which lists items $3-$5 cheaper than they actually are. So that was disappointing. Overall, meh.

    Always a great Sunday brunch location. Great food, service, and ambiance. Loved the light jazz duo also. Will go back for sure.
