A new summer pop-up experience at Albert Park Lake from the team behind Half Acre and Food & Desire.

The Deck at Carousel is our outdoor seated & table-service area, with stunning views of Albert Park Lake, the Melbourne city skyline & surrounds. Bookings can be made for The Deck three weeks in advance.

Pelican Lawn is a public park for all to enjoy, you will not need to pre-book your picnic spot on the lawn. Bring your own picnic rug, or hire on-site from us at Pelican Lawn.

Please note, dogs are not permitted on The Deck, however you're welcome to bring your pup to Pelican Lawn!

We enjoyed the evening but felt some heaters be a good idea when sitting outside on the lovely terrace as the night cooled down

Awesome atmosphere and setting for drinks and nibbles! Is the perfect location for a sunny day or warm night looking out across the lake and city skyline

Firstly hats of to Carousel for reimagining their space during Covid. The setting is lovely and the concept of Pelican Lawn a brilliant idea. The menu is pretty limited and a bit fried food focused. I would love the idea of special dinners with guest chefs during the summer!

Definitely enjoyed our experience at Carousel. The service was outstanding. My main reservation was the drinks. Ordered a Marguerita which was unbelievably made with lime cordial! We had an 11am sitting on Sunday morning. Perfect time for a Bloody Mary but not on the menu. Great venue for young families

What an amazing experience. Service was great we went to the Deck. Great way to see family from regional Victoria again finally
