   It is still your grandmother's hotel brunch, from the atmosphere to the menu. The brunch offerings are extensive and reasonably well done, but not great. Go for the experience but understand that the wildly overpriced food is the cost of entry to the setting (somewhere between "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "The Shining", depending on the moment) . And beware the oysters, which may have been the worst I have ever tasted.

   We attended the Sunday Brunch at the Broadmore as a table of 6 and it exceeded our expectation! There was a great variety of choices that was healthy and balanced all served with elegance! Most stations were attended by a chef. To our surprise our tea was served in a pot at no extra charge and Champaign was included. Our server was very personable and made us feel welcomed and serving us was her pleasure! We will definitely be back!

   Great food in terms of quality and selection, beautiful place. Only downside is the price - once you add tax and a tip to the $85 it’s over $100 and you could probably order the same for less in a different day.

   Brunch at the Lake Terrace Dining Room was wonderful. Lovely, energetic atmosphere with impeccable service. The food was preeminent, and a post-brunch walk along the Broadmoor's inner lake tops off the experience in the most pleasant of ways. Highly recommended.

   The Broadmoor Brunch was an amazing experience to say the least! Emphasis on experience, because of the price point including the service gratuity charge on top of the $85 per person, I believe with what you get does not match the price in my opinion. With that being said, my wife and I, as of right now, with current price in consideration, would not come back again, but was not something to regret whatsoever! If the price were to be lowered, I would definitely make it more of an annual thing for sure.

    We drove all the way from Cheyenne to Colorado Springs to enjoy a nice meal at 12:30 pm. The first disappointment was not finding crab stones as advertised only shrimp and small oysters. The large oysters were already gone and no refill was placed. The other food was average nothing really special except the smoked salmon. The pasta was dry the Benedict bread was so hard couldn’t cut it with a knife.. the butter mash potatoes had no taste of butter m… some of the deserts were gone by the time I went to get them… most of them had no taste expect the pear mini cake… the ice cream line was long as he was struggling to make it… it’s was not a great experience overall. For that price I expected more… this is just a short review as I’m ready to post few detailed ones. So disappointed and would like to be contacted.

    We loved the Sunday brunch! They had a great variety of food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server, Estrella, was great She was so sweet and made sure our drunks were always full. Highly recommend for a splurge on a great meal. We walked around outside after and took some beautiful photos too.

    Oh my, the spread is unbelievable! So many options. Our service was mostly great: one buffet server made me a delish salad without the pancetta and walked it over to me, our table server was attentive... but plates did stack up on our table. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that, although the prices were well-known up front and we were fine with the cost, our 11-year-old, who had 6 danish and an ice-cream sundae, was charged as an adult. That was a hard one to swallow, mostly because while I did confirm verbally with two staff that the higher charge was correct, I could not locate in writing any mention of children over 10 being charged as adults, nor does it seem warranted. Stick with 12 and under please, or do an intermediate pricing for ages 11-16. That age is not partaking in mimosas or oysters on the half-shell or many of the pricier fare.

    Prime rib, ham, salmon and other meat dishes were wonderful. Bananas foster and blintzes were awesome. Variety of desserts was amazing, but most were not as good as they looked. Bland flavor. Service was spectacular. Overall, the in-laws were very impressed.

    Ultimately, the rating is for the food and amazing choices. Less so for the ever-increasing price. Initially sat in a side room, cocktail table against a windowless wall (I guess coming here since the 80’s and listed birthday celebration doesn’t warrant a decent table. Finally asked to move when the table wobble made cutting items impossible. We were moved and 15 minutes later someone came by to the table right by their server station. Again, amazing food, chefs and selection. The front-of-house though needs attention.

    This was our first visit. Everything was just amazing. A very good variety of foods that were perfectly prepared. It was all fresh. We had Beverly as our server. She was so nice and attentive. She makes a very good bloody Mary. I hope to get her on our next visit. I don't see how anyone could not over eat with all the excellent options.

    I need gluten free so I'm reviewing on that. The gluten free options have take been upgraded from when I've been a few years ago. There was now variety and I love that they have the individually wrapped muffins and gluten free treats.

    Grande selection to choose from. Pastry tables were plentiful. Carving station had ham and prime rib. Both were well cooked. Creamy horseradish could use more horseradish. (Look to the seafood table to solve this) Shrimp were large and tasty. Wait staff were very friendly, attentive and made our special day feel special. We would definitely consider returning.

    Sunday brunch at the Broadmoor was a perfect way to thank my sister and my husband. The Broadmoor is a beautiful place to explore. The Lake Terrace has an amazing buffet for brunch with omelet and eggs Benedict stations and a carving table with the perfectly cooked prime rib. The fruits and greens a fresh and all the other dishes are tempting and delish. The champagne flows into your glass until you say stop. The service is impeccable. It’s pricey but hard to beat for a special occasion.

    Just one note, was confused if beverages were included in price or not. The server did not make that clear and we were not sure because on the table was a card with drink prices. We were not charged but we may have ordered other drinks had we known whether or not included. Did it come with mimosas also.

    We have been to the Lake Terrace Dining Room for their Champagne Brunch multiple times. It never fails to impress and the amount of food choices available to enjoy is amazing. For brunch it is on the pricey side but its The Broadmoor and we will absolutely be back again!!

    It was not that long ago that my wife and I could go for brunch for around $150 - $175 or so all in, and that was okay. Expensive but okay. We have been there numerous times, and service was always well beyond any expectation - reasonable or unreasonable. They were worth their money every time. This time it was $241 all in for the two of us. I have never, ever, had to pile plates like at a Country Buffet after I came back from the buffer - this time I did. I have never run out of coffee or tea - this time I was out of tea for 15-20 mins during this visit before it was refilled. My wife asked for OJ - they forgot and we had to ask again after about 10 mins or so. They have never walked off with my silverware when they took my plate, like at a Country Buffet - this time I had to grab my fork and knife as they started to walk off with it. What the heck Broadmoor? If you want to jack up your prices, such is life, that is the world we live in. I'll get used to that. Do not concurrently send service down the crapper. I will not get used to that. ...and that stew you had labeled beef bourguignon was not beef bourguignon. I never in a million years thought I would ever have that kind of complaint at your restaurant.

    It was absolutely amazing! We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and this brunch could not have been nicer. We arrived early and I took a picture of the displays of gorgeous food along with your chefs! From the beautiful ice sculpture by the shrimp to the amazing desserts, everything was so delicious. It was all so beautiful and tasted just as good. I had never tried sushi until now and it was so fresh and delicious. I videoed the bananas foster as your chef was making it, too! We were full for the day. The ambience, the table setting and food presentation was just exemplary! Thank you so much! This was our first visit to the Broadmoor and we’ll be back!
