The food was great but the service was slow from what looked like not enough waiters/waitresses. There were 2 of us with a set menu and we were there seated for a little over 2 hours. Too long.
Nice variety in buffet choices for Sunday Brunch. Good service. Will go again, for sure and try other
menu offerings. Have been there three times and all have been excellent.
All the food more than met our expectations. Our waitress, Tommi, was friendly, helpful and attentive.
We so enjoyed the Christmas Brunch at Lakepoint. Fun service and everyone was in a great mood. Good food and quality service.
The restaurant decor and lakefront views are amazing. The food is very good and the staff are accommodating. The wine bar is something to behold for sure and their bloody Mary’s are excellent!
Im sorry coffee was horrible, food was cold, I will not return Thank you have a great day
We have been coming here since Lakepoint opened. We love the view in the spring, summer and fall & in winter it is a treat as well. We had the "special" appetizer last Thursday - shrimp and grits. The best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten. Wonderful. My husband and I split and it was perfect. His Ribeye was excellent. I had the spicy salmon which was also great. I would have liked a different recipe of rice. The rice was simply white, molded in a bowl and placed upside-down on the plate. A little blah. Yet the salmon was really tasty. The bread served prior to the main course is excellent. Reminds me of my Mom's tea rolls she made for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The price, for the quality of food, is reasonable. We say - go to Lakepoint. Support this gem of a restaurant right here in Bella Vista. They will be closing for repairs for a couple of months after Christmas. Give it a go!
A very nice experience. There were huge chunks of salt on the caprese salad, otherwise the meal was amazing and service by Tommi was awesome!
It was the first year Lakepoint opened for Thanksgiving Day and they did a fantastic job. Lakepoint restaurant is located in side a private development on a private lake (one of the areas largest.
The food was very good. The variety was excellent. The service was verygood
We gave our first experience at LakePoint a so-so rating for service not because of the wait staff, but because our orders took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive -- on a weeknight when the restaurant had very few customers. What's going on in the kitchen that prep took so long? One wonders. We won't hurry back.
Our birthday guest ordered rice with her shrimp rather than noodles. Wait staff Tommie provided guest with a complimentary correct order for take home.
We WILL return following this first experience.
Tommie is professional, courteous, congenial, graciously sincere and respectful. Appreciate the happy hour prices also. Bartender made an absolutely perfect Manhattan.
Eager to return.
Food was great as was the view BUT the waitress was terrible...thankfully the Manager took care of it
The food was outstanding. Our server was prompt, helpful and had a constant smile. Prices were very reasonable with quality food.
It was just OK. The waitress was wonderful until she got busy and forgot my coffee order. The food was ok, not special. The soft shell crab was so-so, not fresh. The beef was just ok. Dessert was just ok. The best thing was the appetizers. If we return, and may not, we'd stick to happy hour and appetizers.
Food was slow but good. Waitress did service well. Table had a chair and bench, bench was super uncomfortable, but the waitress brought a chair and saved the day. Will be back.
Great service by Faith.. Wine tasting was very good during happy hour.. Food very good.
We went up there to enjoy the lake but were put into a booth with no view. Very disappointing. Food was 5 / 10. My wife and I had separate dishes to share, both had the same 1/2 cooked veggie medley. Service was good in the beginning but my wine glass sat empty for more than 15 minutes. Not worth the drive.
All around very good. Had it’s ups an downs at start. Now the food is excellent and service is very friendly and great.
Great scenic view except the dirty, smeared or discolored (or whatever is wrong with them) windows spoils it for me.
Those windows distract from the whole ambience, as far as I'm concerned.
This was our first night to visit this restaurant. We were very disappointed. We expected more options for the price. A seafood buffet should include more seafood. This one had shrimp fried rice, a baked fish dish covered in hollandaise sauce, salmon covered in some type of sauce, and shrimp. The desserts looked like they came from the frozen food section of Sam's. The buffet included potatoes, again in a sauce, green beans and a mixed vegetable medley. The prime rib was good. I see no need to return. For $28 per person, we can eat fresher food in restaurants with more of a variety.
Food was very good but items on buffet were not the same as listed on their menu for that night as shown on their Facebook page.
Friends get together.. before heading home.
Great food, great company, great mimosas
Good place for any occasion.
My mom and I dined there last Friday night. The scallop appetizer was delicious and the balsamic reduction sauce was perfection. Steaks were cooked exactly to order - medium for my mom and medium rare for me. The service was excellent. I had asked about the reduction sauce because I couldn’t tell if it was just balsamic or there was anything added. The server and another person provided me the information. The chef was not proprietary and shared his tips. Mom and I both felt the meal was very reasonably priced. And finally...the atmosphere! Whoever was responsible for the decor has done an outstanding job. Very soothing and relaxing. The view of the water is spectacular. I will be back very soon.
the vegatable served was overcooked and dry did not appear to be fresh Suggest chef check quality of veg combo!!
Love the new menu! Compliments to the wonderful Chef!
Ambiance was great. The server was friendly but continued to push the most expensive things on the menu. Both steaks were way undercooked. Waited long enough - we chose not to send them back and just eat around it. But overall, good visit.
Ideal for small (6 or so) groups due to sound level. Ambiance is at the top. The wine bar next door is a splendid way for a pleasant afternoon.
Our waitress, Ronnie, outstanding. Fast, friendly and efficient!!
This is a waterfront setting that is just beautiful! Sunset views were stunning! Great menu, everything we had was excellent and prepared wonderfully! Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Wine list was very good, even though not extensive, and prices were very reasonable. Outdoor seating for happy hour was a plus, too! Would highly recommend.
We had a delightful brunch after church last Sunday with a group of friends. Everyone was very pleased with both the portion size and quality of their meal and beverages. Our waitress, Kristy, was attentive and made us feel like she actually enjoyed serving us. Of course, the serenity of the view makes it a relaxing place to spend a leisurely time dining with friends. We have decided to make this a monthly event. Thank You!!
My husband and I have made this our first choice for any special occasion and any time we just feel like a night out. The ambiance is lovely, the views superb and food is excellent. Our most recent visit included Horseradish crusted grouper for me and Short rib for him and we were both delighted. Three weeks ago we went for our anniversary and I had the surf and turf - it was mouthwatering - the filet cooked perfectly to my request (medium rare). I can't overstate how much we enjoy Lakepoint and we plan to return frequently.
Was very excited about going to your location had put in the notes it was a birthday celebration for my wife even spoke with the manager the day before questions about the menu and he even knew about the birthday not one time during the dinner was my wife wished happy birthday or offered anything for her birthday or dessert or anyting very disappointed we eat out a lot and being business people in the community I was very disappointed it was still a nice visit but thank you again
Our second visit this year. The service is sincere and the food was wonderful. Loved the shiitake mushroom appetizer and the scallops were phenomenal as an appetizer and in the black and white pasta.
We did not care for the cobbler. Not a true southern style cobbler. We will go back as we enjoy the food and the view. Worth the drive out.
Good variety on menu and our food was very good. Pleasant waitress and wonderful view.
We went there for our anniversary, and it was quiet and the food was excellent
We went for the seafood buffet and prime rib. The prime rib had no flavor. The best part of the seafood buffet was the peel and eat shrimp. Dinner for 2 with a cocktail and tip ran about $85.00.
The menu & the chef have been changed for the betterment of this great restaurant. We love going here for any type of celebration. The service & the menu are great! The only thing that I would change is serving real hash browns instead of small french fries. I love real hash browns w/any kind of breakfast/brunch menu.
Eh. Was much hyped, but is just average. Not incredible, not special, not awful, just in the middle. It's just food, not cheap, not expensive. It's just there.
Amazing ambiance, food and service! Loved every minute!
