We love to come here, the food is wonderful (the bison burger was the special which is my boyfriends favorite). The service is always great we never wait long for anything. The prices are fair. I love the live music and multi level seating. The Taproom is our go to date night close to home and we are so grateful to have a place like this in the community ❤

I think the owners may have had a party on the top floor so it literally felt like the roof/3rd floor was going to collapse on us, hard to hear my dinner partner...didn’t make eating there enjoyable. Service/staff were great and fries were the besttttt I’ve ever had!

I had made a reservation but when I got there they indicated that we Luke have to sit outside or at the bar the tables were full. Reservation was for inside at a table.

It was a little slow service-wise, but our waitress was very personable, polite, and wore her mask the whole time. Food was AWESOME. Beer list was extensive. When I called to make a reservation and ask if we could bring our dog, everyone was wicked nice.

We enjoyed our first time dining here. Our food was delicious, and the cocktails were as well. We will definitely go back with friends and family.

Our waitress was amazing. She had a lot of ground to cover and was in charge of a large section on her own, which made for waiting a bit. It was understandable, and she did everything right, she was spread too thin. They should have had another waitstaff on call. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and even though it was dark, you knew that the lake was just across the road and that brings a whole different kind of aura to your dining experience. Thank you, it was amazing.

Everything was delicious, I’m pregnant and they even offered to make me a mocktail which was perfection. We will definitely be coming back

Very pleasant, informal restaurant. The Greek pizza and red wine were excellent.

The burger wasn’t good at all. Tasted like a frozen pattie with no spice to it.

The buffalo tenders, fries, and Mac an cheese were good

We had a delicious meal. The flatiron steak was tender and cooked medium-rare as requested. The shrimp tacos appetizer was excellent and has been a favorite of ours all summer. The only negative was that the waitress threw out the box of leftovers that I mistakenly left behind. I returned to retrieve it not 10 minutes after I had left the restaurant, a big disappointment as I had been looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch.

Just right menu for a taproom. Wait staff was attentive. The food came out hot and quick. Especially nice if you can sit outside.

We keep going back because it is our happy place. The waitresses are wonderful and food is excellent.

Very mediocre pizza. Digiorno box pizza quality for top quality price. Would not recommend.

Food was excellent. Only difficult part of the evening was sitting on the porch. People walked past our table. People walking above on deck above made us worry about dirt falling on us or in our food. Also made us feel forgotten out there alone. View isn't great because the railing in directly in your view as well. I would suggest maybe "velvet ropes" on the porch steps with a sign stating "See hostess downstairs". As well, cover the underside of the porch above so that no dirt or debris can fall down on diners. Idea: maybe make the whole of the porch bar seating instead; with a long bar at the railing height and bar stools. That would take advantage of the amazing view.

Out side dining was very nice. We were on a balcony and people from the second floor just walked past out table and the other table there. Would not want to sit there again as they were very close. The food was much better this time but does not rate the high price tags. An appetizer two burgers a beer and one class of wine was 73 dollars. There are not much other choices, we may return. Our waitress was spectacular.

Food was excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very nice. We sat outside and the view was beautiful looking out to the lake. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend the Tap Room.

We requested outside seating, and got a bonus when we arrived. Our table was up on the porch overlooking the lake. It was a warm and sunny late afternoon early dinner, totally relaxing. Food, drinks, service excellent. We will be returning again.

First time at Bomoseen Lodge. Wasn’t sure where to enter restaurant. Went downstairs then back upstairs to enter after seeing hostess. Service and food very good.

It was a great time, service was prompt and very friendly. Food was awesome and noise level was low.

I love this place- we are frequent Vermont visitors with a house in Castleton- We LOVE to eat outside here and view the lake.

My meal wasn’t Good, but others at our table had burgers which were very good. Service was good, ambience was also good.

This was our first time in the area and we were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. The server, Taylor, was amazing. She was very sweet and brought out a bowl of water immediately for our dog. She was very attentive the entire time and built a great rapport with us. She ended up giving us a free dessert at the end which was so sweet as well. This was our first time out to eat during covid. We felt comfortable outdoors. The other patrons stayed away and were respectful. There is a nice view of the water and the sunset lit up the whole sky with pinks and purples. I loved my entree - the scallops. We plan to visit again another time we are in the area.

Better than expected! Staff great. Shrimp taco great. Others like the BLTs We'll be back
