Lahinch Tavern and Grill
Lunch: Monday-Friday 11:30am-5pm
Dinner: Sunday-Thursday 5pm-9pm
My wife and I have dined at Lahinch many times and have always enjoyed it. However, this time my wife's chicken was under cooked and tough. This was quite unusual in our experience with this restaurant.
Bland taste and not many vegetarian options. Menu was pricey for the quantity on plate.
I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Lahinch. Several restaurants have tried and failed at this location over recent years, so I had been reluctant to give it a go. My sister and I had dinner there this past Saturday night. Wine prices are decent, and the food is actually quite delicious! It is a great little gem of a place for the neighborhood and great for families. I will definitely be back - most likely with my entire family in-tow.
We came here for my elderly mother's birthday. Overall, I was disappointed. To begin with, the bar was extremely slow in making our drinks. My mother's drink was made completely wrong, even though we made sure to clarify it with the waitress. My drink, a grapefruit martini, was worse than mediocre. I think this is the first martini I've ever disliked. It tasted like a diet juice watered down. The service was fair. Most of the food was very good, though the fish and chips were a bit soggy toward the bottom of the basket they came in.
Went to see a friend’s band, And learned that this Irish pub features live music four nights weekly. The food is definitely two stars above ordinary pub food, and the prices are reasonable.
Arrived for reservation and asked to sit at the bar. Ignored for more than 15 minutes and left.
Solid neighborhood pub - five of us went to Lahinch for first time this past week and had a nice dinner. The service was prompt and the food was good. I would not say it is a bargain for the buck, but given the quality, the price was reasonable. We had a variety of items from the menu and everyone was happy. I know they have at least one live music night and I have heard it is a great time.
Food was good. Wye River Band was terrific.
Love that you have live music- especially Blues. And that there is room for dancing . Suggestion: the floor where the band plays is VERY STICKY..... makes it tough for dancers.
Service & food very good, waitstaff very entertaining & attentive. I check the music calendar to decide when we are coming. Been to La Hinch several times👍
Great service! Friendly staff makes this please a definite go-to. The band "Late As Usual" was outstanding and the main reason we went. So much fun.
Authentic Irish cuisine along with American favorites. Live music, though loud in the bar area, is much better than canned music. I recommend the fish dishes, all prepared with care especially the trout dinner.
The mimosas were great, so were the scones. Service was good. But fried calamari, roast lamb and fish and chips were subpar. Would not recomendó
At with our family. Beer was very good as were the wine choices. The food was good...fish and chips, crab cake sandwiches, cauliflower dish.
I've been to this restaurant twice: once for dinner on a Friday night and once for lunch mid-week. It was a busy bar scene on Friday night, very quiet for lunch. Both times the food was adequate but mediocre. I would not recommend it beyond a place for drinks and munchies for happy hour.
I had been impressed with the food on earlier occasions; this time was a bit of a let-down.
Great place, great food, and great live music. Happy specials were also very good
We brought our granddaughter to the Friday live music and Irish dancing show. The food, entertainment, atmosphere all were great. And the service is wonderful...very friendly, accommodating, and sweet to our granddaughter.
Rushed service. Poor food quality. Wait unfamiliar with the menu.
Menu has a nice variety of cuisines and the kitchen generally executes well. The atmosphere is a casual bar-like setting (the dining room is separate and less noisy), though the food is restaurant quality. A surprising combination that worked nicely.
Authentic foods with great service and ambience. The music on Saturdays is a bonus.
We've been to Lahinch, an Irish pub, 3 times now, all for dinner before a concert at Strathmore. The food is always well-prepared. The menu gives a nice choice of Irish and American. Portion sizes are reasonable, more European-style, so you don't feel like a stuffed pig at the end of the meal. Prices are decent. But, where is the raspberry sorbet? We've ordered it twice now, only to be told that they're out of it--and it wasn't that late in the evening. We're beginning to think they don't really carry it. It's just a menu joke.
A quiet evening with delicious food and delightful service.
The food was just ok but the ambience is always wonderful. I love that the tiles were put on the ceiling bc of noise complaints and I feel that it worked. I was disappointed in my creme brûlée. We had a nice time with friends though.
I find Lahinch only fair. Food is adequate, though there they have a good menu, many choices. The prices are reasonable and the service excellent. But it is noisy, dark ambiance and the food does not invite me to return.
Three couples went there for dinner and then to hear the daughter of one of the couples play with her band. Good food, good music; would go again.
We went to Lahinch to say goodbye to a colleague. There were eight of us and they did a great job getting the food out on time and really making sure that we were all happy! Everything that came out of the kitchen was fantastic and the new find was the pecan pie, it was truly fabulous.
A great Irish pub with varying music from night to night. It has become a favorite.
We had 3 appetizers and 5 entrees among our group ages 18-80!Every item was delicious!
The live music was a treat. The bar area is cozy and the service was quick and attentive.
This was our first time and we will be back !
Manager Kyle was welcoming - the youngsters and the oldsters were happy and that is very unusual !
It was St. Patrick’s day so it was busy but, festive and fun! The music was great and we sang along while we waited for our table. The service was impressive! The restaurant was packed but, we never waited for food or drinks. The food was hot, delicious ; Shepard’s Pie, Corned Beef, chicken soup. Really tasty!!!
Being that it was St Patrick's day we expected it to be a bit crazy- which it was. However in the dining room it was business as usual. Great, friendly service, delicious hot food and the beer was flowing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends all year long.
Great Irish pub
Costly but the food was fine. Waitress was very friendly. Comfortable seating
Very good. The staff is very attentive and accommodating.
Very friendly, close by. Went for brunch, but several of our dishes were not cooked through (pancakes, Bailey's French toast, fish in the fish and chips). The mini scones placed on table before meal came out were great and when I mentioned the underdone dishes, the waitress immediately apologized and brought us a small box of the scones to take home which was very much appreciated. Will go back, but will make sure food is thoroughly cooked next time.
The food is pretty good; I had an entree with 2 sides. Even with dessert, I was still not full. Entrees need to be larger.
Being Irish, especially enjoyed it. Two guests had corned beef and cabbage and said it was the best ever. Make reservations as it is very popular! I also got to speak to Chef Hughes -- great person!!!!
The rainbow trout was delicious. A+ for having Harp on tap.
Cute neighborhood place. Service was excellent, as was the prime rib special. The Shepard's pie was just okay.
Love the big screen tvs for watching the Olympics. Food was good and service was great.
Great menu choices and delicious food. The staff is friendly and it is not too crowded.
