I find Lahinch only fair. Food is adequate, though there they have a good menu, many choices. The prices are reasonable and the service excellent. But it is noisy, dark ambiance and the food does not invite me to return.
Three couples went there for dinner and then to hear the daughter of one of the couples play with her band. Good food, good music; would go again.
We went to Lahinch to say goodbye to a colleague. There were eight of us and they did a great job getting the food out on time and really making sure that we were all happy! Everything that came out of the kitchen was fantastic and the new find was the pecan pie, it was truly fabulous.
A great Irish pub with varying music from night to night. It has become a favorite.
We had 3 appetizers and 5 entrees among our group ages 18-80!Every item was delicious!
The live music was a treat. The bar area is cozy and the service was quick and attentive.
This was our first time and we will be back !
Manager Kyle was welcoming - the youngsters and the oldsters were happy and that is very unusual !
It was St. Patrick’s day so it was busy but, festive and fun! The music was great and we sang along while we waited for our table. The service was impressive! The restaurant was packed but, we never waited for food or drinks. The food was hot, delicious ; Shepard’s Pie, Corned Beef, chicken soup. Really tasty!!!
Being that it was St Patrick's day we expected it to be a bit crazy- which it was. However in the dining room it was business as usual. Great, friendly service, delicious hot food and the beer was flowing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends all year long.
Great Irish pub
Costly but the food was fine. Waitress was very friendly. Comfortable seating
Very good. The staff is very attentive and accommodating.
Very friendly, close by. Went for brunch, but several of our dishes were not cooked through (pancakes, Bailey's French toast, fish in the fish and chips). The mini scones placed on table before meal came out were great and when I mentioned the underdone dishes, the waitress immediately apologized and brought us a small box of the scones to take home which was very much appreciated. Will go back, but will make sure food is thoroughly cooked next time.
The food is pretty good; I had an entree with 2 sides. Even with dessert, I was still not full. Entrees need to be larger.
Being Irish, especially enjoyed it. Two guests had corned beef and cabbage and said it was the best ever. Make reservations as it is very popular! I also got to speak to Chef Hughes -- great person!!!!
The rainbow trout was delicious. A+ for having Harp on tap.
Cute neighborhood place. Service was excellent, as was the prime rib special. The Shepard's pie was just okay.
Love the big screen tvs for watching the Olympics. Food was good and service was great.
Great menu choices and delicious food. The staff is friendly and it is not too crowded.
Made our first visit to Lahinch and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter and busboy were terrific. The food came out hot and was terrific. Tried a new beer that was also great. Manager also swung by the table and greeted us. Well laid out restaurant, felt cozy, and was able to hold a normal level conversation. Menu had a nice variety so we will be going back for sure.
We keep coming back. Food is always great and service is excellent.
The Irish style comfort food tasted pretty good, although it was clear that my husband's french fries had not just come from the fryer. The odd thing was how they made it hard to enjoy the live music, first by bringing the food almost immediately after we ordered it, and then by leaving the recorded music on while the band played. We might have stayed longer (and ordered more drinks) if we hadn't felt uncomfortable just by being there after a certain point.
Food was good. Husband had fish and chips( I had fish taco. Our friend had corned beef, cabbage and mashed potatoes. Only negative is that it was very noisy. Next time I would ask for different seating
Dinner was just ok, nothing special. Service was very attentive.
Always a great value with authentic Irish cuisine.
First, the service was good. Also saw management interact with couple near us where there was some problem with her food. I did not hear details, but he seemed to handle everything in a friendly and professional manner. Kudos.
The rooms were nicely designed.
Second, we have been to Irish Inn at Glen Echo many times and enjoyed it. Ambiance here is livelier, not a bad thing. Food was kind of so so. My husband felt things had little taste. Not sure I would agree, but certainly the key lime tart was a loser in taste and texture.
I might try again with a simple meal, maybe hamburgers.
Lahinch has become one of our regular spots. Food never disappoints and service is fantastic. We really enjoy playing trivia on Monday nights; Jack is the perfect host!
We stayed to a table closed to the entrance and always we suffered from the outside cold because the door was not well functioning. The service was poor and the food was poor quality.
I will never recommend this restaurant to a fried.
This is a happy Irish bar and restaurant. The fish and chips were very good. We also particularly liked the egg plant fritters.
Lahinch has a delicious Irish menu with favorites such as Shepherds pie and sausage rolls served with Irish mustard.
chosen by my friend celebrating a birthday. It was a snow day so the restaurant was super quiet. Had the beef short rib shepherd's pie. Delicious
I always have a great time at LaHinch. The vibrant activity in the bar area is fun as well as the more quiet dinner area. Excellent food and I really love all the authentic Irish dishes and the fresh fish.
Lots of fun. Good music, friendly crowd. Beers could be a bit less expensive -- or perhaps cost could be offset by offering pitchers of the various draft beer offerings.
As always we enjoyed our meal. We were a little confused when we received an email accusing us of failing to keep our reservation. We wee indeed there
First visit here. It was a Sunday night and not very crowded. Bread came out burnt, but warm. Potato leek soup was very disappointing, tasted watered down and didn't have much flavor. The corned beef sandwich was good, the trout special was good, the quesadilla was not very good and fish taco was OK, but small for the money. Not sure there was anything to rush back for other than the corned beef.
Lahinch is a fun cozy place to meet with friends and get a great beer and delicious food.
My potato and leek soup was hot and stew like. The best soup in a long time. It's infrequent that one gets piping hot soup. But here the soup was fantastic. The corned beef and cabbage was very good. Small portion but tasty. The sorbet was a big zero and I would save your calories
Excellent service and food was delicious. Fish prepared perfectly.
Authentic Irish cuisine which is very well done with attention to patrons wishes.
Thank you for having Live Music! The staff is so friendly & attentive! food & drinks are great! Love coming to eat, drink & hear Live Music!!!
We love Lahinch for the live music; our favorite Irish Band 40 Thieves plays here. I rely on the great Fish and Chips and my S.O. gets that or the crab cake sandwich. There was only a single server for all the tables in the bar area, including a large party; although he had help from bus staff , there should have been two servers. But he worked hard and took care of us, and we weren't in a hurry. We always have fun here.
Birthday party with family. As always good food and service. Band playing was average after dinner
