The food is a bit pricey but is always very good. Service is normally great other than they often push out the main course while still eating the appetizers. It's happened about half the time I've eaten here (including this visit). On this visit, our server was taking care of too many tables. She still was able to check on us, but once a party of about 15 was seated (in addition to the other 5 or so tables she had), things slowed down near the end of the meal. Not at all her fault. Overall, a good meal and will absolutely go back again.
Having met the chef, we found it comforting that he listened to our comments and offered alternate suggestions to satisfy my epicurean chef wife. All ended well. The girls danced , I danced, and the night couldn't have been better.
Lahinch consistently has great music and service!
I went to Lahinch for the music. Fantastic blues close to home! Had a fresh Caesar salad, and a lovely draft beer. Highly recommend it for lunch or dinner with many great choices, fabulous wait staff, and blues for dessert! It does not get any better than that.
We had an excellent meal at Lahinch. Service was fantastic, and the food tasted great. Highly recommend a visit.
Loved the band!! Such a fun night
All of us order salads, which was great! The soup was okay. We didn’t care for the Irish soda bread. The regular bread was excellent and warm slices. There was a band playing before we left our dinner. However, not everyone wore a mask in the restaurant when serving and even some customers didn’t wear masks. We would definitely go back though.
The waitress was friendly and helpful. They accommodated my dietary needs and the food was cooked well. The music was relaxing. Would definitely return.
We went on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. Great food, fast service!
Really wonderful service! Food was enjoyed; big portions. My crab cake
was just a bit too spicy for me.
Best Irish breakfast anywhere! Service by Mara & Sharon is outstanding. Can't go wrong with Lahinch.
Food is consistently delicious. Love to sit at the bar for lunch and watch sports on the big screens. Mara is great bartender and Sharon a wonderful host. Lahinch has a great vibe and well worth the drive from NOVA.
Our servers (Sharon was one) were fun and welcoming. The food was delicious; choices include the Crab Toasties, Chicken and Waffles, and Salmon/Bagel platter.
The mimosas are made with rose champagne which make them taste especially festive. Go. Enjoy.
Lahinch Tavern and Grill was awesome. Our server, Sharon was very attentive. The food was awesome. We enjoyed the music. We recommend Lahinch highly.
Fabulous LIVE music on the pub side and the restaurant serves a full menu there too. Good choice for some Irish Whiskey or brews. We had great time with friends grooving to the music. The serve was excellent and delicious dinners.
Love to go to Lahinch for weekend lunch and order the full Irish breakfast - simply the best anywhere. Great service by Mara, Sharon and Zach. Fun to sit at the bar and watch sporting events on the big screen TVs.
Honestly not great. The food was just mediocre at best. It was greasy and the value didn’t match the quality or the portion. Everything had a layer of grease and tasted stale. I came before the pandemic and it was really good, but something must’ve happened because it’s not worth coming. The service was poor, our server was lazy, unkept looking, and he didn’t seem to care to be there, and the runner did most of the work. I probably won’t be back.
Depending on the musical act performing, the best place for drinking, dining and dancing in Potomac, Maryland!!!
Our dinner at Lahinch was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We will be back again.
We met some friends there for dinner Monday night. And listen to music. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves as did we. My husband and I had the crab and artichoke dip appetizer it was delicious. I also recommend the barbecue brisket sandwich.
Great food, outstanding service, and we got to see local blues legend Linwood Taylor perform!
This is a great place to dine and its also a great place to go and watch a sporting event and have a beer and its an even better place to go and hear live music. A true gem!
Have been a customer there for years and have noticed the improvement in the overall quality of their food and service - even during the recent pandemic! The overall ambiance of the venue depends on the quality of the live music entertainment there at any given time. Recently enjoyed listening and dancing to a local act "Trademark", Montgomery County's best classic rock variety band.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank you too for your patronage, especially during this unprecedented pandemic. Wishing you all the best.
The food was fantastic & the service was outstanding! Great experience overall & will definitely be going back again soon!!
SusanR, thanks for taking the time to review our establishment. So glad to hear your had a great experience! That is what we strive for. Please be sure to say hello next time you are in!
Fantastic evening. Great meal! Attentive service. Fun crowd and super band
Great place for food, music. Nice setup. Would recommend.
Enjoyable evening, limited menu but solid Irish items. Good food, generous wine pour, great selection beers.
This place was touted by OpenTable as some place you must visit this summer. I'd have to disagree. While there was nothing wrong, there was nothing special about this place.
Band excellent. Audio poor -- I couldn't understand the lyrics nor the patter between songs. Sandwich OK. Fries soggy.
Really enjoyed our first trip to this restaurant. Although the menu wasn't extensive there was plenty of tasty possibilities. My wife ordered the salmon and lentil risotto, which was well done and delicious, and I had the chicken club, also well done. Nice cocktail options too. I would have liked to see a more extensive beer list, but I did have a local IPA on tap. There was a band playing while we there, which we enjoyed a lot but definitely was easily heard all over. We will go back for sure.
Great venue for live music, food and service excellent
We went to Lahinch for the music and the atmosphere, knowing the food would be good. It was a very enjoyable evening and the crowd was lively and friendly along with an excellent band.
Excellent Pub Style Place, greatly enjoyed by English Style breakfast, kids loved the bacon and pancakes and my partner enjoyed her meal of crabcakes. We were majorly late and the place was extremely helpful on a very busy mothers day. I will definitely be back for a lunch or dinner soon too!
Dining at Lahinch never disappoints, including the specials too! Ted does an amazing job at the helm! Always delicious! Great choices of wine, beer, drinks and more too!
we went for drinks, dinner and for the live entertainment . All three were excellent. Wonderful place to gather with friends!
the wait staff can be a bit short. the food is always good. would like to see more fresh appetizers (i.e., not deep fried, breaded). love the location, atmosphere and great music.
Came for the music venue - great energy! Service was friendly and
food was very good. Will come back!
The service and atmosphere was impeccable.
The food was decent, the server seemed too busy for us, but I did appreciate when they removed my husband’s burnt entree from the bill.
Love this place! We travel from the Tysons Corner area to Lahinch on weekends to enjoy the best full Irish breakfast anywhere (thank you, executive chef / co-owner Ted Hughes), accompanied by great service at the bar from Sharon & Zach.
