   Reserved a table for Father’s Day. Was very excited to go, as this place has been on my “to visit” list for a while now. Turns out it closed on May 31, 2022. Many sources say that the restaurant is still open, but some reviews and Google search shows that it is permanently closed. OpenTable should not be showing Lahinch as open and able to take reservations. This review might have been 3+ stars otherwise. (I’m sure the food and everything else is great, but there’s no N/A option for reviewing.)

   I can’t believe we are loosing this amazing restaurant and bar…it is our go to…it is our Cheers. Great, people, great staff, awesome food and music. This is a HUGE loss to our community.

   First time going to Lahinch Tavern. We went to listen to the music and had dinner while we were there. I had the Shepherd's Pie/Salad and my husband had the Bangers and Mash. Both were excellent!!! But...so sorry to hear that they are permanently closing on May 30th!! We loved the place! Music was excellent as well!!

   The owner/manager and wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was very good - we ordered the smoked salmon breakfast, mussels, crab cake w eggs. And the bloody mary's were made fresh and delicious. Would visit again if back in the area.

   Well it has sold and is closing in a couple weeks and the thin menu and bland/cold food reflected a distinct lack of interest by all. Our waitress was nice though.

   Four of us met for a combined business/social dinner and all were happy with the choice of restaurants. Thumbs up for the deviled eggs, Irish egg rolls, steak frites, bangers, shepherd's pie, flat iron steak, apple pie, and bread pudding.. Service was quick and friendly. A 4 for ambiance because, well, what can you say about tables on a service road? Not the restaurant's fault, but I can't give it a 5. And a 4 for value because the prices certainly aren't in the low or moderate range. Worthy of 5 stars overall!

   Always enjoy sitting at the bar for lunch on weekends. Sharon the host and Mara the bartender are wonderful folks and enjoy a loyal group of diverse and interesting regulars. It’s a bit of a hike for us from our home In McLean, but the trip is always worth it. Best Irish breakfast anywhere! What’s not to like about Lahinch?

    Beautiful Irish pub, fireplace and even music. Surprising the corned beef sandwich was dry, u seasoned, no fat. Bland. Mussels were good but not the best. Caesar salad and fish and chips good as as soup. Too bad no free Irish Soda Bread put out. They need a better chef. The place is a 10 for service, restaurant ambience, friendliness, location, cleanliness, but sadly they need a new chef. The Italian restaurant next door is not as nice looking but food much better and was twice as crowded.

    We had dinner early April 2022. The food and service were good. Our favorite part was dessert and drinks at the bar. The live band was awesome and we had a great time dancing. We will be back!

    We had a fun time. The steak and lamb chops were both very good, and the bartender pours a mean martini. The service was excellent. We will absolutely come again.

    We enjoyed a fun evening of music and delish food at Lahinch for St Patty's Day. A prix fixe menu was served with 6 choices of entrees.. food was very good. Took a little while to get our drinks, but service was great despite the restaurant being packed. Lahinch did not disappoint on St. Patty's Day!

    My wife and I had fish n chips. Fish is good, but the chips were soggy. The beer was good and there was good selection. Service was excellent and they even called my mobile prior to my reserved time to ask where we would like to sit because there was a big party. Seating was good, but the noise level was still high due to the party - it was not the fault of the restaurant. It was a Saturday but will definitely try again on a weekday.

    Enjoyed a meal at this Irish pub tucked into the Cabin John shopping center. There was live music that was enjoyable and a small group of customers but the pub did a very good job spreading us out during this time of Covid! Will definitely return.

    The food is a bit pricey but is always very good. Service is normally great other than they often push out the main course while still eating the appetizers. It's happened about half the time I've eaten here (including this visit). On this visit, our server was taking care of too many tables. She still was able to check on us, but once a party of about 15 was seated (in addition to the other 5 or so tables she had), things slowed down near the end of the meal. Not at all her fault. Overall, a good meal and will absolutely go back again.

    Having met the chef, we found it comforting that he listened to our comments and offered alternate suggestions to satisfy my epicurean chef wife. All ended well. The girls danced , I danced, and the night couldn't have been better.

    I went to Lahinch for the music. Fantastic blues close to home! Had a fresh Caesar salad, and a lovely draft beer. Highly recommend it for lunch or dinner with many great choices, fabulous wait staff, and blues for dessert! It does not get any better than that.

    All of us order salads, which was great! The soup was okay. We didn’t care for the Irish soda bread. The regular bread was excellent and warm slices. There was a band playing before we left our dinner. However, not everyone wore a mask in the restaurant when serving and even some customers didn’t wear masks. We would definitely go back though.
