    We left the evening in the capable hands of the Lagoon team, and were not disappointed. Service was intuitive, unhurried, and quietly assured. Dishes struck a balance between precision and personality, each plate a study in restraint and flavour. The wine list, meanwhile, was tightly edited and deeply thoughtful, offering clever pairings without pretense. A place that knows exactly what it’s doing, and does it well.

    Delicious food, warm and professional service with and intimate atmosphere. Feed me option was a great variety and amount, they happily accommodated my vegetarian friend with separate options.

    This is a wonderfully relaxed restaurant with tasty variations on Asian cuisine. The ( feed me) option is perfect in variety with exquisite tastes. They are very accommodating for requests and restricted diets. This is our favourite diner in Carlton and Melbourne.

    We went for a birthday dinner, and we could not have been happier. From the moment we walked into the dining room, the staff were warm and welcoming. The menu flowed at a great pace, and the dishes were executed perfectly, flavours were outstanding. We must thank Chris and Keat for their amazing hospitality throughout the night. It was truly memorable.

    Ala carte menu was fantastic. Great and interesting flavors for all dishes. Nice wines also. Our waiter was not overly friendly or engaging but we still enjoyed the overall experience.

    I can't recommend Lagoon Dining highly enough—it's hands down my favourite restaurant in Melbourne, and I eat out a fair bit through work. Chris and Keat are genuinely humble and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that's relaxed and effortlessly comfortable. The food is consistently excellent; the shredded potato, salted fish fried rice, and the char siu are particularly stand-out dishes. Lagoon Dining really is an amazing find.

    Another amazing dinner at Lagoon Dining. The service is very kind and makes your experience unforgettable. Wine selection with dinner was perfect. Everything was delicious. Such a delightful restaurant.

    Fantastic food! We sat at the bar and had a really great experience. They were short staffed, but you wouldn’t have noticed as everything flowed so well!
