Restaurant is cute and trendy. Went on a Tuesday night and it was busy. My husband and I reserved the “experience” where you dine fireside. Really great spot for sunset and a drink or app. Wouldn’t recommend the “experience” for dinner- side tables with deck chairs makes it difficult/uncomfortable to eat. Service was absolutely awful. Took forever. Probably understaffed-not sure. Was never given silverware or napkins had to ask the hostess. Asked our server to light the fire and she advised she needed to get the lighter from her manager- never came back. When I asked the hostess for silverware I mentioned our server needed a lighter for the fire- gentleman in a short sleeve button down said “we’ll get right on that”. Never came out. Food finally came out and she lit the fire 45 min later lol. Had the surf and turf risotto was delicious. Hubby had the fish tacos- didn’t love them. We finished dinner and sat by the fire- thought we saw ashes but it was actually a swarm of bugs dying around the fire- perhaps this is why our server didn’t want to light the fire? It was pretty disgusting. Anyway it was quite the “experience”. Will probably be back for light apps and drinks to watch the sunset. No fire or dinner lol
As a Celiac, I’ve been dying to get to Lago210, so my birthday was the perfect day to go with my husband, son, and his girlfriend. We started with drinks - 2 different sangrias, a Manhattan and a beer - all great.
For appetizers we had the stuffed peppers, poutine and bruschetta which were fabulous - then 3 of us had the sliders - 2 shortribs on brioche and 1 pork on gluten free sweet potato flatbread along with 1 seafood/steak risotto.
The only thing I’m upset about is that we were so very stuffed that we couldn’t even think about dessert. I regret it, now - I’m sure it would have been as delicious as everything else! AND we had a great outside table that was perfect to enjoy the gorgeous sunset!
Great food and atmosphere! Owner came around and introduced herself which was really nice. Chef came out to check on us
LOVED THE FIRE PIT EXPERIENCE! THE FIREPITS WERE FAR ENOUGH APART YOU WERENT LISTENING TO OTHER DINERS CONVERSATIONS. VERY PERSONAL. SERVICE AND FOOD WERE GREAT. PLAN ON A RELAXING FEW HORS NOT A HRIIED MEAL.
This was our fourth visit and although the service has gotten much better the food seems to have gone the opposite direction. Short pour on wine, ran out of romain lettuce, the goat strawberry salads were small with less than an oz of goat cheese ( just a few sprinkles) no crab cakes. The sliders were really dry. Hopefully things will get better so we can return to one of our new favorite spots.
We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed by the delicious food; we had a beautiful evening dining outside by the lake. We were there too early in the day for the firepits to be of use, but in the evening they'd be great!
Start with the positive re: our Sunday brunch...beautiful setting, nice wait staff, generous pour on the mimosa. Ordered the toast board w/ "Naan bread, seasonal bread..." No Naan, and the "seasonal" was wheat, white and rye bread? Runny jam. Eggs Benedict was cold, has browns salted so heavily they were inedible. Strawberry shortcake pancakes were gummy and tasteless with frozen, mushy berries - and they were so HOT, they had to have been microwaved. Overall, very disappointing..I wouldn't have had such a hard time shelling out $70 had the food been edible. We left hungry.
Service was great! The chicken and waffle charcuterie board was outstanding.
Excellent brunch outside with a view of Lake Erie! Second time eating brunch here and enjoyed just as much as the first! The chicken & waffles platter is delicious & big enough to possibly share! Cocktails were good too!
Had the avocado toast. Bread was very heavy. Can’t eat cow’s milk so they had to leave off the goat cheese since it was a blend. Use real goat cheese. Son had the jack fruit- didn’t care for it fried. Likes it better when it’s used like a shredded meat. View was spectacular. Will give it another try for dinner next time.
Brunch Food was delicious. We had the steak tacos, shrimp and grits with poached egg and a lot of mimosas! We sat outside and it was very relaxing and excellent view of lake. Our hostess and waitress were welcoming, helpful and we received great service! We will be back :)
One of the best meals I have had in a very long time from a restaurant! Literally everything was great and well worth it for the 2 of us to go! Surf and Turf Risotto had so much flavor in every bite. Would recommend to everyone looking for a nice date night in the water or to go with drinks with friends to enjoy the sunset on Lake Erie.
Gorgeous view, great staff! Truly enjoyable evening.
Wow, Incredible food and ambience right on Lake Erie!
The food was just ok. I’m sad about that because the location and ambiance are so great! I thought the price was too high for the caliber of the food. Our waitress was lovely, just maybe a little inexperienced. I know your place is new and I’d be willing to try again a bit later.
Can’t get any closer to the lake for dinner. Great spot. They just need more umbrellas for outdoor seating when the sun was blazing like yesterday.
Delicious meal; excellent service. Seafood was fresh and flavorful
Truly like the place. Looks like some growing pains though. Food choices are great. Hope they make it great location and bar selections.
The bathrooms were dirty, and had no paper towels…they need a really good cleaning.
There were two young hostesses, neither one of them could figure out where any paper towels were.
There were so many bugs inside we could not take a bite without eating one.
Our server never gave us the specials, or asked if we wanted an appetizer. She took our drink order so quick and walked away we had to call her back.
I had to ask 3 times for more napkins.
Manager was not friendly at all.
We spent $90 and it was a horrible experience.
Went here for my baby shower brunch with a few of the girls and the decor and atmosphere was so cute! Beautiful being right on the water. Waitress was super friendly and really very attentive. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Great time had by all.
The food and service was excellent! Our outdoor table was perfectly seated next to the water and the atmosphere was very quiet and serene. I will definitely be back soon!
Amazing location, bland food and slow service. Could have been an off night for the staff.
Great food. Had the fish tacos. Great service. Nice view of water. Nice entertainment-guy playing a guitar and singing. Great blackberry margarita! Will definitely be back again! Call for reservations as it does get crowded!
Beautiful lake view any time of day. Most food is excellent. Any dish with gnocci or grits are great choices. Charcuterie board is delicious and creative. Mezze board was disappointing, cashew cheeses had similar flavors. Staff is terrific, hard working and friendly. Highly recommend this venue.
Food service was incredibly slow, especially since it wasn't crowded at the time.
The menu had changed and I was immediately disappointed. The shrimp in the poutine was a little tough as well and had very little cheese and sausage. The waitress was ok. Not overly attentive. All in all I would rate it a 3.
Food was delicious. The views were awesome. Will definitely be back
A beautiful afternoon on the lake -- view was fantastic. Very easy to get to. The site looked clean and fresh. The service was pleasant, attentive, efficient. As other diners had recommended, we highly recommend the apple/pork sliders. They are very generous with the alcohol in the cocktails. Altogether, a 5 star experience. Have already recommended to others.
Good food, could use a bigger menu, had to sit inside because of weather, but great view of the lake !
Server was excellent & food was delicious!
Sitting by the lake barefoot and having a wonderful dinner..
Chicken and Waffles is to die for! Our food was delicious (if a tad pricey), seats were comfortable and the service is great. The view is wonderful as well. Very enjoyable brunch experience.
Very allergy friendly and the food was amazing and all from scratch! Will definitely be back
We had a beautiful night outside near the water. Good and service was great! Prices slightly on high side but your also suing for atmosphere
Thinking we had an off night with the kitchen. Food was bland and not worth the price. Maybe we will try again for a drink but not for dinner. View of the lake is very nice.
Our second visit was even better than the first, which was amazing! Excellent food and drinks
delightful presentation and of course the setting lovely.
Beautiful place, we sat inside and it was very stuffy because there was no air conditioning. I ordered the VooDoo Gnocchi and although it was tasty it was a soup and should have been considered a small plate. It’s was not worth $28. Maybe the small plates to share at an outside table may have been a better choice.
Great waterfront dining!
The location is prime-not a bad seat whether you are inside or outside. The staff is working hard but something as simple as water was overlooked. It’s beach like in its environment which was refreshing but I felt the service could have been better. The food was good, smaller portions but filling.
Food was subpar, ambience by outdoor fire pits was lovely.
