Lafayette Brewing Company
Staff was accommodating we were early for our reservations but got us right in !!
We went to Lafayette Brewing for Mother's Day Brunch - great choice! The buffet was excellent with a good variety of delicious choices, and because the brunch was set up as two seatings, we weren't rushed and could take our time and enjoy our family time together.
Thank you so much for the feedback Amy, and I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your Mother's Day with us. Come back anytime and have a wonderful weekend!
Our family of 4 attended the Mother's Day brunch. There was a nice selection with either breakfast or lunch items to choose from so everyone in our party was happy.
Thank you for the feedback John, I really appreciate it! I am glad you enjoyed your time with us on Mother's Day, come back soon!
Once it got busy, our server was hard to find. The food was sub-par. And the wonton/brie/apricot bites were cold! Never in my life have I been served cold brie. They warmed it for my girlfriend and I but it just wasn't great. Brie almost tasted goat cheese like. Disappointed:(
Food was very good for the most part - starter salad seemed a bit limp, and it took quite a while to get the food with very few tables in the restaurant. Not great for a quick work lunch. I do however appreciate that fresh meals need more time to prepare. Overall very good food, and server was excellent also
Meghan, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and I am so glad you enjoyed the food and service!! I will address the salad issue with the staff and make sure that doesn't continue. Have a great week, and thank you again!
Had no idea it was DJ Trivia night! I made reservations for my boyfriend and I and upon walking in, the noise level was way too high for what I had hoped would be a quiet Sunday evening dinner. The bar/restaurant area was jam packed. Luckily for us, whomever designed the layout had that in mind. The other area off the restaurant had a few couples in it and we could no longer hear the party bar atmosphere. It was fantastic. The wait staff, ours in particular, were very attentive yet unobtrusive. The service was great, the food was terrific. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
I am so glad you enjoyed your experience here and thank you so, so much for the awesome feedback, it is sincerely appreciated!! Have a great week!
Great menu. Went for brunch $10 bottomless mimosas. Definitely will go again
I'm so glad you enjoyed everything, thank you so much for the feedback!!!
The restaurant was dead however their was a private party which made it very noisy. The food was terrible and the waitress was not attentive to detail. She brought us a diobeer than we ordered and it was terrible, we didn’t finish our drinks or our food. It was a disappointing experience.
For a friday night, with an event at the arena I would expect that the restaurant have adequate staff. The hostess was rude, did not even make eye contact and said. "Your party is in the dining room, go on back, you'll see them" She did not walk us to the table. Our waiter apologized, but explained they were short staffed, drink orders took forever. There was no bartender at the back bar. We were also told that there was no sou chef, and one person was cooking for the whole restaurant. I ordered the apple grilled cheese. I was disappointed to find I did not have slices of fresh apples, but something that reminded me of canned apple pie filling, cheese was nearly nonexistent. i brought friends from Rochester out to dinner before the show at the arena. I am sad to say we did not enjoy our dinner beforehand.
Decided to give it a try since it was close to our hotel. Food was nothing special - mediocre at best. For a Buffalo restaurant, the Buffalo turkey sliders were quite tasteless and uninspiring. The servers were friendly, but very slow. Seemed understaffed for a busy Friday night. Difficult to enjoy a meal when there were 3 (obviously drunk, at 6:00pm) patrons of the bar yelling at the top of their lungs. Will pass the next time we’re in town...
Definitely a great stop for pub food! The beer was great. I recommend their Belgian Wit brewed right on the premises. Our food was super tasty. Service was great.
Food was good but not for the price. Beer was good. Server was friendly enough but was obvious we were pushed out the door. Is there a time limit in a place like this? The group of friends only meets every few months and enjoys the company and conversation. Because we felt rushed and the food selection/price, it is unlikely we will be returning.
Ugh. I chose this restaurant because of its proximity to Key Bank Center, as we were heading to the hockey game afterward. The service was awful. There are multiple entrances to the restaurant (it's in a hotel), and we waited at several of them before having to traipse through the bar to be sat. Even though we had a reservation, the hostess seemed confused -- then we ended up sitting in the bar anyway. The service was slow (I was done with my soup before my daughter's salad came out), and the food was NOT great. Of the five items we ordered, my sandwich was inedible, my daughter's burger was incorrect, and my soup would have been better if I'd made it myself. The only decent item was the flatbread. The restaurant does a nice job honoring the city's history with it's decor. But that's really all that recommends it. I won't be back.
Requested high top table reason why I made the reservations. Only to get there inside out we had to sit on the other side. Extremely upset about this it was for a birthday and we wanted to enjoy the bar area also. So we didn't spend how much time 8 and left. Wanted to enjoy the bar atmosphere due to the birthday party was younger. Probably wouldn't come again
Great food and beverages. Had a great time and a good waitress
