   Once again Lady Camellia did not disappoint. This was the first time for my 2 guests at Lady Camellia and they were so impressed with every aspect of the delightful tea experience. The food, service and ambiance were exquisite. What a wonderful venue for special occasions and celebrations.

   I went with 2 friends and had a lovely experience here. It's a nice location overlooking the Potomac, and while it is a relatively small space, it didn't feel crowded although most of the other tables were in use. I liked that we could each select from several options for sandwiches, scones, and pastries instead of all being served the same exact items, and there was an extensive tea menu to choose from. We didn't have any trouble carrying on a conversation, although I imagine it could get noisy if there was a group celebrating a special occasion. I enjoyed everything I tried, and while the pastries were relatively small, we had to take half of them home as we had filled up on sandwiches and scones. The service was a little slow, but we were happy to take our time rather than feeling rushed. I would definitely go back. I think it is best experienced with a maximum of 4 people rather than a big group.

   Very lovely place with a great view of the water. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pastries and teas were delicious. It was a lovely experience for a birthday. They even give a complementary birthday cupcake.

   Felt rushed to leave. They tried to take our food away before it was done. Food was pretty flavorless besides the scones and egg/chicken sandwiches. The place was completely empty (literally the only people in there) even though there were 0 reservation options available online other than a 7pm time slot. I would have loved to get an earlier reservation time, so a call offering to move up the time would have been great. It also would have been better for them to offer more/earlier weekend times online so they can close on time. A 7pm time slot for a 90 min, expensive, experience shouldn’t be offered when last call is at 7:30. Overall it was just a mid experience

   Our family loves Lady Camellia! It’s more of a special occasion place for us but I feel like pricing is on par with other tea rooms we’ve been to previously. They have a wide variety of teas to choose from and a great selection of sandwiches/desserts. I usually take my 6 year old and she loves going for tea parties. She usually asks to go there for her birthday. They have a kids menu as well which is perfect. We will going back again and again.

   Very charming interior and decor. Place setting details were lovely and staff was pleasant and helpful. Many tables jammed into tight space. Noise level not conducive to any private conversation. We had to switch our reservation from afternoon to after 5pm and were unaware that the "evening" menu is drastically limited to the two most highly priced items (full tea for $59 per person or high tea for $67). That's on us for assuming the regular tea options were available all day. We each had the full tea, which was a variety of a half dozen small treats, and 2 savory crustless tea sandwiches and tea. For $76 per person with tax and tip. Was fun for a splurge.

    It was definitely a highlight of our trip. From the moment we entered, the smells were amazing. We were a party of four, so our menu was selected for us, a collection of their favorites/best sellers. The scones were everyone's favorite; they were amazing. There was so much to choose from, we were all completely stuffed by the time we left. They boxed all our leftovers in the cutest to-go boxes. The entire experience was perfect. If you are in the area it is a must.
