The restaurant is decorated in an old English design and is lovely. Our food was fresh and very good, the ambiance was relaxed as you would expect from a English manor. Our only complaint was the service was very slow and we had to ask twice for cutlery. I'm sure this is growing pains as Lady Bea's has only been opened for about five months and it was a very busy day. We will definitely return however.

Quaint house and a beautiful setting for tea. So many options to choose from for seating. We went there during the week so was less busy and parking was no problem. Overall the food was good and plentiful. One lady in our party had the vegan tea option and was very impressed. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend Lady Bea’s for a great tea experience and will definitely be back for another tea experience and to try some of the other options offered on their menu.

My mother-in-law was visiting from out of town, and I wanted to take her for a unique experience. My sister-in-law, daughter, and I chose Lady Bea's. It was fabulous. Great food, beautiful table setting, and a wonderful afternoon.

Savouries, scones and sweets are all lovely; tea menu is wide; the table setting, decor, ambiance is the most charming I've found in Edmonton.

The service was slow, which was understandable because it was so busy. However, I felt that our server was very inattentive (or, maybe too busy). We ordered and were served our drinks immediately, and then left alone until our food came out. It took approx 2 hours to get our food (which was amazing btw), and by that time we were completely done all of our drinks. I felt that our server could've let us know that the kitchen was running long, and checked if there was anything she could do to make our wait more enjoyable. I was getting upset because although other tables were in the same situation, the other server seemed to be providing a higher caliber of service to her tables. We felt ignored! The table beside us was having the same experience. Thankfully a man that was clearly a manager came by to top up our hot water and chat for a bit. His friendly service saved the experience for us. Given thr chance to do it again, I guess I would've asked to speak to the manager. I'm not sure if I would go back...I was expecting a VIP experience given the cost. I didn't want to tip, but felt too guilty not to.

We really wanted to treat our mom to a nice girls afternoon. Our reservation was for 1 pm, but our table wasn’t ready until 1:15. No biggie and not a problem for us. We understood it was very busy. When we sat down we ordered our afternoon tea experience and chose our tea. Unfortunately we did not get our tea until 2:15. And this was after I went downstairs to ask if it was coming up soon. I am very surprised it took this long, and again understood it was busy but surely tea doesn’t take 45 minutes to brew? I brought my two children’s and they had the teddy bear tea experience. They were absolute troopers waiting 45 min for their tea to arrive. We did not get our sandwiches and desserts until about 2:55. At this point we were so hungry but had a graduation commitment at 3:20 at the legislature. I quickly scarfed down as many sandwiches as I could and had to take the rest home in a box. By the time we paid it was 3:25. I’m really sad about this experience. I have done a few high teas in Edmonton (the Fairmont, Art of Cake etc.) and have never had the experience take this long. It was so disappointing The food tasted great. The experience was not so great.

We found this place very last minute and we were not disappointed. We sat in the Pemberly Room which was beautiful but I don’t think there is a bad place to sit, it all looked just as lovely as I walked through. We had the full tea experience with the Prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries along with the 5 savoury items, 2 scones and the desserts and that was $59 which is an excellent price for all of that! It was a lot of food! My daughter in law took half the sandwiches home and most of the sweets. You would be full with just the tea and savoury. Even a visit here for the tea and scones would be worth it as the scones were delicious! Some were dressed up with dresses and hats but we came last minute so we were quite casual but did not feel uncomfortable.

It is a beautiful setting . Pemberley room is very pretty. Food is amazing . It was quite warm inside. Wear your fascinator for a fun day!
