Just a girls get-together before all the thanksgiving frenzy begins :) Always a big fan of the Eggs Benedict and croissants at Ladureé.
Five star service, outstanding customer service. Me and my didn't have to ask for anything. The Chef outstanding.
Fabulous menu. Superior service. Coffee service is unique with the little pitcher plus separate little milk pitcher. Uniquely presentations on each plate. All of the foods chosen were Delicious!!! All five in the group were very happy with their choices. The size of servings were "just right"...not too large, nor too small.
I had an event during the day near by Beverly Hills. I wanted a nice breakfast/brunch with my mom prior to the event. The Laduree was perfect. There was no wait. In fact we were the first ones there on a Saturday morning. We sat in these oversized white wicker chairs with pink cushions. Really cute atmosphere. The waiter was nice and really soft-spoken so we had to really strain to listen to what he was saying. He didn't write down our order which I think was an issue. I ordered tea and my mom ordered coffee - both were great! We ordered 3 mini croissants which were also great but he didn't give us any plates to put our croissants on. Then the main dishes arrived. My mom ordered the french toast with apples. It was delicious (she let me have a bite)! I ordered the avocado toast. Now I looked at the menu prior to arriving and I saw that the avocado toast included a poached egg. But mine was served with scrambled eggs and lox. It looked and tasted too good for me to say anything to the waiter about it but here lies the issue with not writing down our order. Once we were done, we had 4 macaroons - rose water, pistachio, orange blossom and caramel. Rose water was my favorite. I don't remember ordering caramel. I'm pretty sure I ordered vanilla, but here again is the issue with not writing down our order by our waiter. Two things that I liked about our experience: The prices were reasonable for Beverly Hills and the portion sizes were decent as well. I'd give 5 stars but the waiter needs to write down the orders and speak clearer.
Food is delicious and service is great but I was surprised to pay $7 for a small glass of iced tea! It’s still a nice lunch or tea spot in Beverly Hills.
Great food and delicious deserts. Amazing service. Made my birthday lunch a very special occasion!
Loved the authentic charm. Wonderful location just steps from Rodeo Drive. Really easy parking.
It’s a cute little place. The food is excellent and the service is great. It’s also super quiet and around a nice selection of shops. The macarons are good and taste fresh. At some locations they can taste stale. Compared to most of the other Laduree’s I’ve been to the decoration is.....loud? Definitely a west coast aesthetic vs a low-key posh vibe at others.
The service needs to improve. I felt as if I wasn’t really helped much. I felt a bit put to the side, I don’t need to be wearing my expensive clothes to get food service? I had a much better experience is Paris, I would go back but have a lower expectation.
Everything was great except that it took long time to ask for anything
I had a wonderful time with family everything was perfect :)
Good French breakfaat/lunch/tea/snack food. The Croque Monsieur is unique and quite good. Desserts are delicious.
So fun and wonderful atmosphere.
Visited both locations.
Rodeo Drive server seemed bothered by helping us. Moody and snooty.
The second server who took over was much better.
The Grove location was absolutely wonderful. Fun and friendly staff.
Laduree is such a wonderful delight! The mango Mimosa was fresh and my Salmon was delicious. The macaroons were like little pillows and my cafe au lait was perfect. I can't wait to return. I wish it was a larger location. The charm and decor is outrageously French. Love it.
When we got there for our reservation they said they were closing. Nobody in the place seemed happy that we were there. As a matter of fact, as soon as we ordered our macaroons and started to leave, the cleaning lady or owner closed the door as we were walking out....very rude!
Delicious breakfast, tea, and dessert, and good ambiance. Casual, yet elegant and classy
This was my second time dining at an LA based laduree and again, I was disappointed. Service was so blasé. We had reservations, but it took a while to be seated. We ordered the afternoon tea for 3 people and while our server was nice, she was a little inattentive. The sandwiches in the tea service are pathetic. I’ve had high tea all over the world, including at laduree in other countries, and I’ve never had sandwiches this terrible. They were made days before and wrapped in wax paper, flavorless and not worth the calories. My tea was cold and while the sweets were on point, I expected a better experience overall. I’ll stick to the macarons from now on
I always get the best service at Laduree Beverly Hills. I’ll keep going back and I always refer the restaurant to friends who haven’t been there or are here visiting.
Great variety of light fare, entrees, and desserts!
Great service and great food. Love the ambience and will definitely be coming back!
Always a pleasure going to Ladurée! They go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best.
They remembered from my reservation that it was a birthday and brought our dessert out with a candle. Nice touch. It is not a very large place, so on busier days I would recommend a reservation - especially if you wish a banquet indoors for more than 2 people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I was worried after reviewing some prior OpenTable reviews, but we had a nice lunch, sitting outside, with excellent service. Food was tasty! We would certainly try the place again and maybe get some dessert next time.
The coffee guy was very nice . Manager nice. Salads came different then menu but were good. Deserts were amazing as always!
I loved it!!! I visited the first Laduree in Paris and also London and I’m so happy I have 2 in my home town. Highly recommended for girlfriends lunch dates. Staff super friendly and attentive.
Came here for Easter brunch! Everyone was pitch perfect, only downside was music was loud and did not feel appropriate for such an elegant daytime venue. Service was above and beyond excellent!
Super cute seats and lovely food!
Classic French casual fare with a few odd choices thrown in. Falafel? Which I love but unexpected on this menu. And the cutest high chairs I’ve ever seen.
Too bad you can’t order online for delivery...
We went here for the macaroons! For those, we were not disappointed. There weren’t very many other patrons, but the service was super slow. It took us almost 2 hours just to have a cheese plate and a handful of macaroons. Wine selection is very limited and I would really like to see them add a less expensive champagne to the menu (or a special like they have in NYC). We had planned to have the tea menu option, but it was never offered to us (it starts at 3, which is when we were seated)....but we later saw it in the dessert menu (which we also had to track down after the server disappeared). A fun experience, but if you want to get in and out, I would recommend getting macaroons to go.
This restaurant does not at all operate like the ones in Paris. Nor is the food comparable.
Delicious lunch with impeccable service and lovely ambience.
We visited Laduree Beverly Hills for my 3 year old Neice’s first Tea party and it was perfect in every way! They could not have been sweeter or more attentive to her. Everything from bringing her own teapot filled with ice water to mixing a dipping sauce of mayo and Dijon for her fries was done in a cheerful and efficient manner. We all enjoyed our lunches and tried the Sliders, Club Sandwich & Caesar Salad. The macaroons are a highlight & we shared a plateful. Faves were Vanilla and Raspberry . Laduree is our favorite tea salon in Paris and we love having them in So Ca!
We went there for high tea and they had run out of many of the high tea items. I wish they would have let us know prior to trying to scrape together a poor low quality version. This location pales in comparison to NY and Europe on both ambiance and food quality. At least we had a charming French waiter...
Hope the place gets cleaner.... As time goes on, the place is becoming quite dirty...
It was very noisy, they should have a closed room for parties. Too noisy.
I had passed this trendy/touristy restaurant many times and thought it was like a pastry shop. I didn't realize it was a fantastic restaurant with adorable ambiance and culinary creativity. The restaurant section is in the back. It was terrific for Dine LA week with a fabulous fish dish, delicious cafe latte, and imaginative macarons.
The restaurant promoted the Dine LA week special menus, but it did not have the Dine LA menu available even though I made a reservation and visited during lunch hours. Very disappointing since I wanted to try the special menu.
I was so excited to go to this restaurant because I just visited Paris in the fall, unfortunately the service was very slow and the food not as good as I had anticipated. The appetizer was undercooked and my meal didn’t taste very fresh.
Overall, I would hope that they improve on service and maybe change some of the menu options . to a more Perisian style.
Do not bother to make a reservation they will NOT honor it. We drove from OC to BH we ordered our deserts and beverages and take our seating . The manager comes and says you cannot sit here, the seating is for only customers whom make reservations. Mind you the restaurant is more than 50% empty. So he forced us to get up, So I Asked him who do we make a reservation ?
You can make reservations on open table, so whilst in front of him I made a reservation for now , which was confirmed and I showed him and asked to be seated . He then responds we are sold out for the evening , I said what ! He repeated the same I said your diner is empty yes but we are sold out and as he says that 2 more tables are now being vacated . I said again you said to make a reservation with open table which I did in front of you and now you are denying me seating. He then goes onto state we are sold out and OPEN TABLE always over sells our capacity and we cannot honor those reservations. I said Man can you see your diner it’s empty and no one is here, he reply those are all reserved . Then he tells me do you not understand English.
We will never go back .
I advised that is your problem not OPen tables , he argues further not it’s not our problem
It’s open tables problem.
If I had not already paid for the over priced desserts and beverages I would have walked away, we were directed eat our snack standing whilst NO ONE ever came as sat in the back half of the diner.
This manager did a great job of being rude and loosing a customer.
