   The dining room was cold. The food was plain and mediocre. The waitress was a very hard worker. She tended bar, waited the tables and hustled through it all. Great Job.

   The food was good, except that the croutons on the salad were stale. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she simply said that the chef had just made them the previous day, as if that made it OK. The drinks were fine, but it's too bad that the restaurant didn't have any draft beers. The choice of entrees ("large plates") and appetizers ("small plates") was somewhat limited, but we were satisfied with what we ordered.

   Ambience is 1980s resort designed by your Italian uncle. The bar is inviting, but the carpet and lighting need an update. The menu is Italian-american standards - penne a la vodka, shrimp fra diablo, but nothing adventurous. Service was friendly and efficient. Guests dress was all over the place, from sports jackets to shorts and hoodies. Overall a basic "meh"

   We had dinner at Ladoria Ristorante last Friday night. The restaurant was very accommodating as our party grew from 4 to 11 and they gave us a big table to handle the extra people. My food was very good that night. I split the beet salad with a friend and had Chicken Marsala for dinner. It was difficult to hear much in the dining room, because there were many other large parties having dinner too. I could talk to only 3 people at our table. I thought our server did a good job, but we could have used more frequent beverage service (water, wine and soft drinks). It seemed like once dinner was on the table, we were no longer a priority. Just a suggestion, maybe someone other than the main server could provide water and soft drinks to the table.

   The food was absolutely authentic and delicious! I would recommend location for any occasion.
