Love this place! Ever-evolving menu that lets the chef have fun with flavor and ingredients! Great neighborhood spot that we are lucky to have in Milwaukee

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life, shout out to our server Anna, she was fantastic. Will definitely come back.

The food was extremely mediocre. We had the guacamole which was overpriced for the amount we got. The Brussel Sprouts were mushy and lacked flavor. The steak tacos were tough and lacked flavor. The shrimp taco was delicious but the tuna left much to be desired. And the lamb birria’s consommé was severely under seasoned.
The drinks were great. The ambiance was beautiful. The service was quite poor. Our waiter seemed flustered and confused.

We overall enjoyed our experience. Would not order taco appetizer again. The mole sauces were good, but the tacos were extremely oily. The halibut and steak were phenomenal. We unfortunately felt a bit rushed. Prices are a bit on the high side.

This place is a true find. They are doing things right here and clearly believe in their mission. The cocktails are perfect, the food is incredible, and the service is perfection.

This was our second time at La Dama. We had several apps; guacamole, bacon wrapped dates and scallops. If there is a must item on this menu, it’s the bacon wrapped dates. I had the duck tacos which were phenomenal.

Even though we had to sit outside on one of the coldest nights this Winter, our waiter never kept us waiting and gave us impeccable service. The 4-season patio was cold, but still bearable and staff offered us really nice blankets. Can't wait to come back and sit inside!

The food and menu were amazing. The wait staff could use a bit more training. My husband and I sat while every wait person in the restaurant passed us without saying hello or asking for a drink order on a Saturday night. I understand they wanted the kitchen order all at once to pace the dinner due to covid and time restrictions, but it was a bit curious how we felt at the beginning of our meal....first impressions are lasting.

Peggy has knocked it out of the park, as usual, with her newly imagined restaurant. Tables were nicely spaced with clear dividers so provided a comfortable environment. We'll be back!

Fabulous experience and upscale Mexican like nothing else we currently have in Milwaukee. Delicious, creative food, spectacular service, and warm, cozy ambiance. Awesome attentiveness to COVID protocols, very conscientious. A chef-owned gem that we are proud to support. Will be back and am especially looking forward to having the incredible lamb birria dish again.

We were really impressed with the service, first and foremost. The food was equally impressive. Felt really comfortable dining indoors - everyone was wearing masks and tables were spaced with plexiglass in between. Highly recommend!

good food and service. a number of dishes on the menu were not available which was a bit surprising because it was New year's Eve and you had to make reservations.

Everything was perfect. From start to finish, especially on NYE with how busy they were our server made us feel as though we were the only ones in the place. Top notch food and service-
Octopus appetizer was amazing. 3 of us had tacos and I had the salmon-
I couldn’t say anything bad about the experience even if I tried.

Been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience both times. Food and service were both great! This is not your everyday Mexican cuisine - combinations and flavors are exceptional. Great selection of cocktails as well! Will be back.

Our server, Anna, was friendly, precise and very helpful at choosing a wine.

We had a fabulous dinner from the bacon-wrapped figs, chipotle chicken empanadas in serrano crema and luscious posole appetizers to the tacos (shrimp, cactus, steak and pork) to the churros with chocolate sauce for dessert. It's upscale but not expensive and a welcome addition to the Milwaukee food scene.

The Food was scrumptious.. The value was good.. presentation was professional.. Melissa was the best server friendly and efficient.. the only thing that creep me out was the picture if the La Dama on the back wall. It was as she was staring at me while I was eating.. Thanks for the great experience..

The small plates of empanadas, and flat bread were fresh and great taste. One of the best I have eaten.

Main course, duck tacos with mole had just enough spice but not overwhelming.

Craft cocktail list is varied, we loved the Mexican Lollipop.

Would definitely go back to try other dishes.

Food was not as good as anticipated. Completely burned my mouth with too much spice in one portion of the entree, service was ok, atmosphere was too loud.

This is the second time we have eaten at La Data and it is becoming one of our favorite places. The food is so good, not your normal Mexican food. I like that they change up the menu and look forward to a lot more delicious meals there in the near future!

It was just a fusion of wonderfully prepared Hispanic/Latin culture food. Very little frills, or hypey/Instagram-y food. The detail, care and precision was outstanding 9/10. Cocktails were decent, was honestly the only somewhat disappointment. Go here now if you appreciate food.

The staff at La Dama was extremely friendly and helpful, offering a run-through of the menu and very detailed explanations of the dishes we asked about. The drink menu was slim, but The Gabriella and The Mexican Lollipop were so good, I probably would order the same ones again. It was easy to find pescatarian options, and I loved the sweet and savory tastes in every dish. The salmon encrusted with grasshoppers (chapulin) was magnificent. And I'm so thankful to the staff for giving my boyfriend and I a free dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary! While the patrons were spaced out and there were plastic barriers between booths, I try not to go out very much anymore, so I hope to get takeout from them in the future.

A beautiful, nicely spaced setting on a covered outdoor patio. Great for Covid concerned. Service and food were top notch. Menu selections very interesting.

This is real Mexican food! Not Mexican-American...
Every sauce, pastry dough and element made by hand--all completely delicious!
And with Anton behind the bar, the Margaritas were superb!

All around a wonderful dining experience! And well set up for social distancing and safety too!!
