A great new place in Milwaukee. If you want an amazing experience, go here!
Amazing food and experience. If COVID wasn't a thing I'd be here very often.
We really wanted to love this place but it was just ok...
We ate on the patio, which was a fantastic setting! The food was outstanding and the service excellent! It was our second time in two weeks we were there and had great experiences both times!
We we're nervous about dining out, but LaDama made us feel totally comfortable. It was truly a special night out!
Oysters tasty, La Dama drink excellent, fondue bread and cheese awesome, ceviche was a miss, ahi tacos sublime, pork belly tacos better, steak tacos needed more flavor and stuffed poblano was fabulous! Oh yeah caramel flan 🍮 was incredible with collective blend coffee!
The food and service was amazing! I have recommended this restaurant to all my friends and family. The chorizo stuffed bacon wrapped dates were simply amazing. Perfect amount of spice in the items.
We ordered several appetizers and tacos to share. The crab empanada and tampiqueña tacos were especially delicious. We sat on the patio, great ambiance.
This was my first visit to La Dama. It was so flavorful, Paulie our server was great and made great recommendations. I can't wait to go back!
Such a good new restaurant for us to enjoy. Thanks again for an amazing meal. We were here a few weeks ago and already, the menu has been refreshed. Everything is wonderful.
Delicious food, comfortable social distanced patio seating, enjoyable dinner. You had me at tacos! Flavorful, great variety, come and see...
First time trying La Dama. It was fantastic. I had three tacos and our table shared the guac, queso and tetala. Everything was very good. Including the margaritas.
Had a wonderful time at LaDama. Truly impressed by the menu and the staff was friendly and helpful, as always. Can’t wait to come back again very soon!
We had to wait 20 minutes for table; not bad for a Saturday. But then it took almost 90 minutes for our food, and it was ok. We had the last sidewalk table by the cars parked... not great. Would rather have heard they were full and didn’t have room for us that night. Maybe we’ll try in a few months.
Everything that was amazing about Crazy Water has transitioned extremely well to LaDama! The staff is as welcoming as ever and greet their guests with a smile and suggestion or two from the diverse cocktail selection. The food options from appetizer through entree and to dessert are guaranteed to leave you smiling and looking forward to a return visit.
Amazing food, margaritas—not sweet!—tacos were all fantastic—our table favored the perch. Beans are amazing full flavor. Tres leche cake was lovely and the churros were unbelievably light. Well done! Can’t wait to return.
Love this spot! The outdoor patio is awesome and the food was delicious. So excited to finally have a high end Mexican restaurant. Will definitely be a regular place.
Food was good but certainly room for improvement. The tuna taco comes on a wonton shell which totally fell apart on the 1st bit. Octopus tostado was good but could of been more flavorful. Would highly recommend the Branvino. The highlite of the meal. Great selection of cocktails.
It was a really nice restaurant and food.
My wife and I each had an appetizer and a main course and all four were well presented and delicious. Great Mexican flavors! Service was fine. We plan to return soon.
I really expected better. We tried over 1/2 the menu and was not wowed by anything... oyster were good at a cheap price but the ranchero cheese was way to hot, the milenesa was way over salted and the meatballs had way to much unpleasant seasoning. The herbed fideos were delicious though. The bronzino was delicious yet a tad salty. The grilled avocado and shrimp small plate had a perfectly ride grilled avocado wit a mushy over pickled tasting shrimp... churros were pretty good. Tortilla chips were stale and cold as well... too bad... milwaukee needs a higher end mexican restaurant like frontera
Patio is so pretty with lots of space. The food is wonderful and interesting...not a taco and chips joint 👍🏻 Felt as if we were on vacation near Mexico City.
Our meal was amazing and the server was great! We will definitely be back!
The branding was outstanding as was my margarita. My dining partner enjoyed his milanese and longingly looked at the various tacos coming out to other tables. The smells were intoxicating!
My husband and I came in to celebrate our anniversary. The bartender immediately asked if we would like something to drink while waiting for our outdoor table. We ordered silver tequila margaritas and they were great as he said they use fresh lime juice. Our table was ready a few minutes later and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, lush, outdoor patio.
We started with oysters which were the best I’ve ever had. We then tried the salmon dish and grilled fish. Both entrees were great as was the service. We ended the dinner with the flan. It was beyond fabulous. Super creamy and custardy
Our server Stephanie was attentive and pleasant. It is hard to believe this restaurant has only been open for 1 month. We will be back!
La Dama was incredible. I will definitely be back.
My husband and I each had an appetizer, two drinks each and a meal and both left hungry. Food was good just not worth $100.
My experience at La Dana Kitchen reminded me of the extraordinary food I ate in Mexico City! I’m so happy we have an authentic Mexican Restaurant in our city! I will recommend this place to all my Mexican food lover friends and family!!
The food is exciting and beautifully presented! Much attention to cleanliness and safety of customers. Truly a gem!
crazy water was amazing - but this is exactly what milwaukee needed.
we tried the octopus, oysters and all 6 tacos/beans on the menu. we couldnt even tell you which ones were our favorite.
we also shared the mezcal Manhattan and the Gabriella (mezcal negroni) - the bar knows what they are doing
they have a GREAT wine list as well - many options by the glass and bottle (sparkling, rose, white and red)
the ambiance and service could not have been better
The servers all wore masks and made you feel very comfortable throughout your dining experience.
we already made our next reservation next week
Great food and ambiance. Love the new concept.
We loved it and recommend outdoor patio! Nice job by everyone there! A great addition to dining In Milwaukee
Loved my fish dish - I had the special. Also had my favorite dessert - the bread pudding is to die for! Yum.
It was our first time at CW & it was highly recommended by friends. Unfortunately we had a negative experience. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates. The waiter warned us the plate was very hot. The plate was hot but the appetizer was refrigerator cold. The waiter took it back and we waited for a replacement which was good. I ordered the veal special & it was very over done & tough. The menu was eclectic & had some very attractive selections. Maybe we were there on an off night but it didn't seem that busy.
The waiter was very attentive & friendly. When I made reservations I requested a desert of their choice with a birthday candle. He brought Bread Pudding with a scoop of ice cream which was very good. We came from out of town for a special evening in Milwaukee so it was disappointing. I did like the sound of the items on the menu so I might give this place another try in the future.
Another lovely time at Crazy Water. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. From the shimp bisk to the entrees to the chocolate mousse dessert, everything was delicious.
Great little neighborhood restaurant!
The drinks we ha (brandy old fashions)were the best! Great ambiance and excellent food and service!
Our table ordered four different dishes, all outstanding. Service was friendly and efficient to the max. Highly recommend this restaurant.
One of my fav places. The whole experience is always wonderful!
I placed this reservation to celebrate my sister’s birthday with our parents. We were seated at our table and the hostess poured water immediately, however, it took our waitress over 10 minutes to great our table and to take our initial drink order (we almost left). The place was also extremely crowded and people, including staff, kept bumping into us and the ambiance was extremely unpleasant. Luckily, the food was pretty good. The only food complaint was that the veal was served like country fried steak. Otherwise the short ribs and lamb ragu were perfect. Finally, our waitress took forever to bring us our bill.
I expected so much more and I’m very disappointed, I do not think the value was worth the experience.
