Good cocktails, nice waitstaff and easy reservations. Unfortunately the food lacked salt and flavor. Surprising for an Italian restaurant. I missed bread for the table and a dinner salad. The $32 entree price point warranted bread and salad. We skipped dessert due to the flavorless food.

We booked a table for 15 people. We did not have a large enough table, and although we had 14 show up, we were uncomfortably squeezed into the space. We could barely move our arms to eat and it was awkward. Also, it took way too long to clear the table between appetizers and our main course. We had to stack the plates to get them out of our way. The noise level was intense. We had to yell to hear each other from across the table. Food was good, with the exception of one plate where a guest found a long hair wrapped in the spinach. (They did comp her meal, but eww.)

Our meal was delicious. The toasted ravioli was an unexpected delight, and our deep dish pizza was perfectly prepared. Delays in service were the only reason I would give this anything less than. 5-star review. Nonetheless our server was apologetic and clearly trying her best.

Pizza and Al entrees came except for one- eggplant parmigiana. It came an hour later after everyone was done and ready to leave. They cleary rushed it because when it came, it was so salty and chewy, that it was inedible. During the 90 min of our dinner, we were offered water one time. The restaurant was noisy, the eggplant parm was terrible and the service worse. We finally asked for our pizza ( deep dish and thin crust) to be boxed. At least I could eat that since I couldn’t eat the eggplant that came out 60 min after the rest of our group of 5…… but they took it away to box it, and 30 min later, it never came back. We left. Don’t waste your time.

We liked the deep dish a lot. Thin crust was good too. One item we ordered for my daughter never came then when we asked where is our order the waitress she said kitchen messed up. I really do not know who messed up!! Over all 4 star experience. Nice place to dine in.

This restaurant was well-rated, but we arrived to a busy house and put in our order. Drinks were really slow. Ultimately, the appetizer came before the drinks and the entrees came immediately after the app, still before drinks. They're wasn't room on the table for all the plates. We were a bit into our entrees when the drinks finally came. The food was mediocre - underseasoned and a steak was cooked to the wrong temp. Also, while waiting for the check, someone was setting the table next to ours and dropped a napkin and silverware on the ground (outside seating) and simply re-wrapped it. We told our waiter who pulled them.

I made it a point to make Labriola the last stop on my food tour and to celebrate my birthday there with my favorite Deep Dish in the city based on a prior exemplary experience. Even still, they managed to exceed my expectations! The Russo Sausage is an outstanding pizza - tremendous sauce, flavorful, beautifully seasoned sausage, and they caramelize the edge of their crust like Pequod's with a focaccia dough that feels light vs the density you'd expect. The food, combined with attentive and friendly service makes Labriola a must! I was offered a free dessert for my birthday too and the cheesecake was excellent, with a beautiful presentation, and was the perfect topper for the occasion and meal!

Came here on a recommendation - their “skinny deep dish” is unique and allowed us to try that style without feeling overly full. Our group of three shared the kale salad, zucchini fritti, two pasta dishes and a pizza - it was more food than we could finish. All was delicious but the kale in the wasn’t treated and there was an aggressive amount of red onion, so would skip that next time and only do one pasta.

Everything was fantastic but the server could have been a little more accommodating. We had a group of five and I asked her to just help me keep track to make sure we didn’t spend more than our per person limit. She told me they don’t do that at this restaurant, and that she was entirely too busy to help me keep track of what we were spending. I have organized team dinners many times over the years and I’ve never been told that they wouldn’t help me keep track, especially with a group of just five. Other than the lack of assistance, the food was fantastic and I would definitely come back. I would prob just ask for a different, more friendly server 😀

Great location and the restaurant was packed. The prices are very reasonable. I felt very rushed and the food was decent. The bread is awful, tasted and looked like wonder bread, plus I had to ask for it. I had the pasta and meatballs. It was red pasta and dry, definitely needed more sauce. The apps we had were just okay. This is not authentic Italian food, it feels like eating at Olive Garden. Overall, I was just not impressed at all.

We arrived at the restaurant after a hard day of walking all around Chicago, so the food hit extra good for us. We started with an espresso martini to get our energy levels up, and we ordered the garlic knots as an appetizer. Let me tell you, those two orders alone were worth the visit. The croissant-like texture of the garlic knots with that amazing marinara sauce were heavenly. It was a top 5 of all times-food for me and my girlfriend. We had a pepperoni deep dish after that and it was great, but not as amazing as the sheer chemical reaction we had to those garlic knots. I would visit again just for those. I would do terrible, terrible things for those garlic knots.
