   Our favorite place for New Years Eve! Always a diverse & unexpected menu, fabulous service (love Veronica!) and the little extras add to an already wonderful experience. Sad they are closing for the winter :(

   Consistent quality and creativity. Now that we are entering the colder months, much easier to get a table and definitely worth the trip to the Jersey Shore.

   Been there off season and during the height of summer always can count on being served good food,interesting selection, and good and pleasant service.

   MIXED REVIEWS - Let me first say the food was very tasty! BUT .. I didn't realize it was restaurant week. The menu was not the same as what was online, it was very abbreviated. They had a prix fixe menu, 3 courses for $32+/-. The portions were very small I guess due to the prix fixe menu. My appetizer (calamari) was actually more filling than my entrée (boneless short rib). My desert, (apple crisp with vanilla ice cream) was about the size of one scoop of ice cream. The portions were very disappointing to me and my guests. We actually went to a nearby pub afterwards for after dinner drinks and ended up ordering some apps at the bar. I may try Labrador another time since the food was so tasty but if that is the size of their portions normally, that will be the last time I go there. ALSO, if you go there in the winter, DO NOT accept a table along the windows. The drafts are terrible! We asked to move our table and they were very accommodating but I felt bad for all the women that were still seated at the windows wearing their coats throughout their dinner. Our interior table was very warm and cozy.

   Excellent food with efficient, friendly wait staff. The very only slightly negative comment is that the short rib was excellent but small portion. Other portions for other choices were more substantial.

   This is not my first time dining at Labrador lounge. I have dined there many times over the years. This week is restaurant week so it was wonderful to see that they participated in it. The meals we enjoyed for this week all was excellent. The service people were very friendly and gave us good recommendations for our main courses. So don't pass this restaurant up. You won't be disappointed.

   I had dined at the Labrador Lounge twice before but as I live in Bayville I avoid the shore restaurants in the summer but on this occasion my daughter who lives in Ortley reminded me that at this time of year restaurants are not as crowded and also this was Restaurant Week along the shore. We decided to go and were delighted with everything - it was all that I remember and more. You have such a varied menu compared to other restaurants in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

   Been here before but decided to try it for restaurant week. Despite the constraints caused by a price fixed meal, the kitchen turns out a creative and very tasty menu which supplies something that everyone can enjoy. The friendly wait staff is attentive. This BYOB has always delivered. P.S. if you have a dog and sit outside, pets are welcome.

    Veronica did a fabulous job for my husband’s 50th birthday. The food was wonderful, service on point, even with a large group. This is our favorite restaurant.
