LABCo Market & Restaurant
Since it opened in 1995, Little Apple Brewing Company has won awards for its beef and is also a part of "From the Land of Kansas", a statewide program that supports local agriculture. When you visit Little Apple Brewing Company, definitely order a beer and steak, but be sure to try the bread pudding with whiskey sauce, too.

Excellent food ! A very enjoyable dinner ! A big thumbs up !
Steaks are excellent. Best in town. Sides are fairly typical and not on the same level as the steaks. Cocktails were just okay. Wine selection was well thought out and good. Overall we had a good experience and will go back.
Had dinner with 14 friends and family. Great food & superior service! Our waitress was fantastic - friendly, accommodating, and on too of things!
We always enjoy great meals at Labco!!
The weekend specials are always inventive with a selection to please anyone! The regular menu items are tried and true from the burgers and fries to the salads and steaks
Always excellent meals!
The ruby trout was excellent on a bed of delicious roasted red potatoes and asparagus.
Good food, beer and service
Such a wonderful evening! The ambience, service and food were all exceptional. I can’t wait to return.
We had a very enjoyable meal. Ingredients could not have been fresher, and portions were just right. Lindsay, our server, was terrific.
The fresh fish special was outstanding. We are so happy to have good seafood in Manhattan.
Best seafood and steak in MHK. Freshly prepared and unique meals.
The yellowfin special was delicious, but I was disappointed that the swordfish special was sold out.
LABCo is always good. Special complements to the salads - so hard to find good salads in restaurants in Kansas.
Best specials you can have in Manhattan. Kelly and Russ, and entire staff is the best.
You can't get better food and service!

We had a great meal last night. The food was excellent. The menu had lots of choices but the most outstanding part of our meal was our waiter Mason. He was just terrific! We will definitely return.
We ate small plate style and enjoyed every bite! The menu featured many unique dishes that we will be back to try soon!
LABCo is always the best place to have a great dinner with friends and family in Manhattan. Awesome selection of beers that you can't find elsewhere. Be sure to try the specials menu, something new everyday. The Mediterranean Salad with Steak (or chicken) is my #1 favorite.
Bar atmosphere with a mixture of high class and bar food. Decent prices.
Crab cakes are the best!
Unfortunately the service was really slow, although the server was pleasant and welcoming. Food was not to the normal high standards - sides were grossly undercooked and when replacements were brought out they had clearly been microwaved as they were scorching hot & dry. The special appetizer of Chicken Mousse was delicious but the rye bread accompanying it was awful (and I love Rye bread).
Usually, I rate LABCo as one of the best restaurants in town, but last night they really were not on their game.
LABCO was ready for our large group— took reservations with no waiting when we arrived. Great server! He was knowledgeable about the menu, able to work the group, and was friendly and engaging! Food is always excellent! A bit loud, but a great place to gather with friends!
Exactly what we needed great service and great dinner.
Easily our favorite place to eat. We have to drive an hour to eat here but it is always worth the trip. Always the best steaks, great service, and really good beer!
The menu has changed from when we started eating there year’s ago and it just isn’t enticing enough to bring us back very often. This used to be the place where we went for special occasions, but not anymore. Losing the best salad bar in town plus other menu items will not bring us back. Too bad because it used to be special.
Excellent menu. Outstanding service. Easy to make a reservation..
We always appreciate the unique weekly food and drink specials at LABCO. Also, even though they’re busy, we don’t feel like they rush us through our meal, which is much appreciated. All around, a delicious and welcoming experience.
My favorite restaurant in Manhattan. I usually order off the special menu as it typically includes local and seasonal produce.
Reservations needed which made the dinner experience go very smoothly. Great good and many choices.
The ruby trout special was outstanding and so was the creme brulee. The selection of beers has improved. There were plenty to choose from.
Great experience besides the server did not write down our order at all and then forgot to add bacon to the burger that we asked for. Grateful that they let us eat outside even though that may have been inconvenient for the servers.
Our party of six visited Labco to celebrate my daughters graduation. The food and service was great. We were seated in a booth and the seats felt rounded
We joined the waitlist via the OpenTable app. A time was not shown for the expected wait but when we were first in line, we went to the restaurant to check in. The restaurant was half empty both on the patio and inside. We let the hostess know we were first in line on the waitlist and wanted to check in. She looked at their system and said “Uh you don’t have a reservation until 8:15”. I tried to explain to her that we did not make a reservation, we joined the waitlist but she very rudely cut me off and told me that was “the same thing” and then said “So uh you guys are like two hours early and we are really busy sooo..” At that point we simply canceled being on the waitlist after being treated so rudely by staff. Definitely won’t be returning!
Always consistently great food and good service. The braised short ribs were amazing and the restaurant was very accommodating when I asked for a change of vegetable.
My wife and I ate here for the first time and had a great evening. We started with the coconut mussels which were bathed in a scrumptious Thai broth. So yummy! We then shared the 32 oz. Cowboy ribeye steak which came with roasted mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and carrots as well as red bliss potatoes. It was meant to be shared and we did a very good job of it. Still had leftovers which we took home. We ended our meal with desserts of creme brûlée and bread pudding soaked in a whiskey sauce. A great way to end a delicious meal. We also found the waitstaff to be engaging.and attentive. We can’t wait to go back again!
The food was amazing. How quickly we got our drinks and food wasn’t very timely. The end story was the quality of the food made it all worth it
The swordfish was fresh and expertly cooked. The mango salsa was a beautiful complement to the dish. As usual, the creme brulee was perfect.
Proper social distance spacing. Food was absolutely delicious and filling - very impressed with the shrimp carbonara as they tend to be salty but this was perfection. Excellent service, feels like visiting family!
LABCO is a true gem. My date and I have enjoyed superior dining here. Good ingredients are expertly and imaginatively prepared. From salad to desert, one of the best dinners we’ve ever had. The chef here cares about his food and is preparing dishes far beyond expectations that the location and ambiance would lead you to believe. Caesar dressing was lemony good on fresh crisp salad. Lamb chops with pomegranate sauce were spot on. Pecan crusted Hawaiian sun fish filets were flaky and deliciously. All vegetable and rice accompanying the entrees were fabulous in their own right.
Please save room for desert. The chocolate torte with pistachio ice cream is superb. I won’t soon forget it. Belgian Chocolate Bundt cake with mouth puckeringly good raspberry ice cream foil to the rich cake was a deftly created masterpiece.
Super tasty meal, exactly what we wanted. Good beers, pretty big menu too
