La Zozzona is located inside the Gran Hyatt which is an older hotel that was recently remodeled. The look of the dining room and different table levels were nice. Only small nit was the half moon booth seats are covered in a velvet-like material which did not make it easy to slide into the dinner position - tugging and holding clothes, so not great if you are wearing a skirt. For the food, overall it was nice although the timing between courses could be improved (we had 2 apps, 1 salad, and 2 mains over the course of 2 hours - we were tired). One of us had a meat choice and the other pasta (tortellini) . The pasta, one of the reasons for coming, was unfortunately thick and little more than al dente. It also appeared one or more of the tortellini may have sat out and edges dried before being boiled so some of the parts of the tortellini were not edible. Flavors were all on point though. The highlight of the evening was meeting Chef Richard Blais in person. Incredibly personable and genuinely warm and kind. The second highlight was Juan Carlos, our server. We appreciated the attention and care he provided making up for some of the food delivery delay.

Our server Cameron and Izabella were wonderful. The hostess Miss Mills was also a delight to meet and made the welcome process a delight. The table decor and overall decor of the restaurant is very nice and I’m impressed with the details and thought processes in sequence of service. They start you off with a “toast” of prosecco which is a nice touch. They offer Sedona water still or sparkling which I like. Appetizers, we ordered meat balls and the “Cheese Pull” which is a fried cheese stick that is finished with Calabrian chili and honey was very good. Meatballs are very soft and tomato sauce is acidic and sweet. Very well executed. Problems came with entree. My pork chop was cooked perfectly, I requested medium And the server knew the pork chop was sous vide and would do his best to get a medium temp. I ordered a side dish of the beans and sausage, very salty and the beans still a bit tuff. My wife had the carbonara , it fell short also. Our server knew the menu very well, he is well grannies and answered many questions of the menu that would make the chef proud, so great job on FOH training. I would try it again, but maybe order the Swordfish and Lamb Ragu lasagna next time.

Beautiful restaurant with intimate booths that contribute to the quiet atmosphere. Servers were very attentive without being overbearing, and the servers were very knowledgeable about all food and wine ( we asked lots of questions, ) The meatballs were outstanding would come back just for those, The complimentary champagne to start was a wonderful touch! Lamb lasagne, beans and sausage? Spicy rigatoni were all wonderful🎉

I recently celebrated a special occasion at La Zozzona and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by Paul, Julia, and the entire team, including the hostess. The exquisite food, with perfect flavors and recommendations, was a highlight, and the presentation of each dish was impressive. The seating was also awesome. The mozzarella stick and the popular Rigatoni “alla Zozzona” were delicious, and the dessert was over the top. I highly recommend La Zozzona and look forward to returning for another exceptional dining experience, hoping to meet the chef.

The food was not good at all. My tortellini was barely cooked. The staff was very nice and service was good, but that does not make up for terrible food.

We adore La Zozonna and this was our 2nd time visiting. Delicious food and drinks and a huge thank you to Chef and his team for handling my allergies so amazingly. We requested Jake as our server again and he is simply the best too. Edwin also makes amazing cocktails. We definitely will be regulars and can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing dining experience to celebrate my birthday at La Zozzona. The chef was accommodating to my food allergies and customized a pasta dish for me aside from enjoying the appetizers and dessert. The restaurant isn't noisy but it also isn't library quiet. You can have a conversation without yelling.

Our waiter was not helpful. He was really rude and made us feel like we weren’t welcome. He double charged our credit card. We will not be returning.
