   We haven't dined at La Voute Bistro in a few years but remembered it was an awesome time. I decided to take my hubby to dinner for his bday 4/13/23. Well, things have changed, not for the better. Let's dig in. The drinks were great! I started off with the lentil soup.....delish! Hubby had the oysters, if the oysters were any smaller, you would need a magnifying glass. The special was lamb chops over cheesy grits and potatoes. Not a terrible combination but 2 lamb chops for $44?! Ridiculous! They weren't even think cut! If you want great drinks, then this is the place. Choose another restaurant for food with better prices. Ciao!

   Prior to yesterday, this was one of my South-Suburban favorites. Yesterday, it was sub par. Omelet was brown/burned, quiche was burned on the top, food was room temperature, dessert tart was a disaster, and the mimosas were room temperature. We were extremely disappointed. I don't know if I'll return.

   We visited La Voute for Easter brunch. Our party had a lovely experience. The host and hostess were accommodating, our server was warm and polite, and the cuisine was wonderful. Although I wouldn't normally recommend children at such a fine establishment, the staff at La Voute adapted beautifully to our party of 10 (some adults and some children) for Easter brunch.

   Oysters were really small/dry and overpriced...the entrees were very salty...I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone

   This Bistro has been hit or miss. I ordered a dish and they never told me that the tuna would be raw. I think that's an important thing to know when deciding what to eat. Honestly it was overpriced, and the best part of the meal was the dessert, crème brulé.

   Appreciate the ambiance and setting. The dining room floor was slippery. The restrooms had an awful sewage smell. The food was not flavorful

    My youngest sister’s birthday celebration was enjoyable. The restaurant was gorgeous, clean and well lit. However, the women’s restroom had an foul odor that ruins appetites.
