   We were the only diners - food was served cold - they couldn’t wait for us to leave! There was a party for children happening in another part of the restaurant - screaming children running and throwing things. And, the meal was very expensive with little value in return - never again!!

   A group of five of us went to La Virgen de la Cueva for two birthdays. Fantastic restaurant, with great ambiance. The servers were very attentive, and the food was excellent!

   Platillos y porciones perfectas. Atención de meseros impecable, conocen el menú, hacen sugerencias. Presentación de platillos divertida y elegante. Únicamente mejoraría limpieza en baños.

   The moles and enchiladas were superb. Unique and creative cuisine. The cocktail was very good too. The only reason for four stars is that the service feels extremely rushed. The waiters hover and expect you to place orders without sufficient time to read the menu which is online and a little cumbersome. In less than ten minutes we had been served bread, drinks and appetizers and were afraid what we expected to be a leisurely fine dining experience would be over in 30 minutes! Be sure to let them know if you have a special occasion.

    We really enjoyed our meal at La Virgen de la Cueva. The menu is creative and diverse, the food is outstanding, and the service is spot on. I would highly recommend dining here on a visit to Guanajuato. BTW a remarkable city.
