The 4 of us had dinner at this neighborhood BYOB restaurant last night. The place was small and the seating was very tight the back room was full with a big party. The service was excellent and the food very good prices were reasonable. Would eat here again.

I have been going here since they opened and have never been disappointed. I took a friend who had never been there (he's from out of state) and he hasn't stopped talking about how wonderful it was, he had the fish special. I will keep going back!

Overall we were happy with our experience. A few notes I would give to the owner: the portions could be a little larger. Potato and veg should be a large portion. Only got 2 potatos. 2 of our guests got the pasta special and there wasn't very much pasta. Not a complaint but our plates could've been cleared much sooner. Dirty plates sat on table for about 10-15 minutes after we finished eating. It was the best bread I've ever had in a restaurant.

A excellent experience time after time. Great food from salads to entrees. Reasonable portions at reasonable prices. Service is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. BYOB is a plus. Ofter go there prior to Verizon Hall concerts. One of the best in Philadelphia.

Excellent dining choice. Great location (convenient to theaters & Kimmel); Great weather (for a Nov. Saturday - not their "R" but they get the 'win'); Good food, good service & pleasant atmosphere. A good value. The tables are a little crowded, but I guess that can't be helped. We ate early (~6PM) so crowding wasn't really a factor.

Such a great to head back to la Viola West. The bean soup of the day was light and delicious and the mozzarella appetizer was perfectly sauced in a garlicky vinagarette. Can't wait to return.....

WOW! So glad to be able to go back to La Viola. After a Covid Related hiatus, we were able to go back t our favorite restaurant. They did not disappoint. The service was top notch. I believe we spoke to everyone in the restaurant from the owner on down. The food was first rate. From the soup, to the entrees was great. Can't wait to go again

Even though it was my first time there, I received a warm, hospitable welcome. The menu had a good number of selections- neither too few nor too many. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was homey and well-prepared. You may bring your own wine. I recommend it.

Excellent food and great service and environment. Nice options with the specials but be careful with them as the normal menu is very reasonably priced and then the specials take a huge price hike. It's mostly noticeable because of how big a change from normal menu average (they are about 50%+ higher than average entree). I will definitely return.

This is our favorite restaurant near Rittenhouse Square and the Kimmel Center. We just ate here 2 nights in a row. The food is excellent and there are always wonderful specials. They cook to order which is great for dietary restrictions. I just had the filet and it was phenomenal: tender, flavorful and cooked to Perfection. The service is superb. Everyone is warm and friendly. Highly recommend it for parties or just for 2. BYOB

So glad we discovered this wonderful spot before the show at the Kimmel Center. the food was delicious, and the service was spot on. We didn't realize that it was a byob. We were able to purchase our wine on 15th St., a 2 min. walk. All 4 of us agreed we will come back to La Viola-West the next time we're in town.

Ordered the gnocchi and lobster ravioli. Gnocchi was very very good. Lobster ravioli didn’t have much flavor and couldn’t detect any lobster so I’d avoid that dish. Service was phenomenal.
