   Exceptional food / cuisine . The triggerfish dish is the one to get! Also LOVED the escargot . Great place to be with friends or to have a romantic dinner . I would definitely recommend!

   We have enjoyed this restaurant over 15 years whenever we visit St. Martin! It is always spectacular. The food is some of the best we've had on the island and the service is always excellent!

   Waitstaff and owner were very busy but always had time to stop by and ask how we were doing. Very friendly and hospitable. I started with frog legs and split a Caesar salad with my wife. She had lobster bisque as well. I thought the starters were a a bit tastier than my main which was a seafood combo of lobster, triggerfish and grilled shrimp. There was a bit of a lull between the salad and the mains. Pistachio crème brûlée to finish was awesome. Very nice wine list. Owner gave me 1:1 on the exchange with credit card. Ambience is very cozy. All in all an excellent spot to spend a few relaxing, delicious hours on holiday.

   This is our favorite restaurant in St. Maarten. As always the food and service was top notch. We will return to this restaurant on our next visit even though the drive is substantial

   La Villa in Saint Martin delivered one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home in the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to dessert, it was clear that each ingredient was thoughtfully selected and expertly prepared. A special thank you to Axle and our waiter who took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. Their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and warm personality made our night even more memorable. The service at La Villa was truly impeccable—every detail was perfect, and we felt genuinely valued as guests. La Villa is a must-visit for anyone looking for world-class cuisine and outstanding hospitality in Saint Martin. We’re already looking forward to our next meal there!

    In the seven days we spent on St. Martin (and from what I can recall from past trips), this was far and away the best meal we had. Our party of 4 was unanimous in voting this our favorite meal of the week. The food was delicious (we all had different entrees) with the lobster thermidor appetizer earning the highest praise. The service was exceptional; attentive without being overbearing. The guidance on wine was spot on. The setting was clean and comfortable. While a dinner looking out over the water may be more romantic, take my advice and spend at least one evening in the comfortable dining room at La Villa. You will not be disappointed.
