   We had a great experience at La Viga. Servers were so attentive and friendly. The food and drinks came out promptly and were high quality. All dishes were so tasty.

   If I had to rate my overall experience of us eating there on Cinco De Mayo was 3 out of 5 stars. The food wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t amazing. I ordered 3 tacos ($7/ea) and my boyfriend ordered the cheese enchilada mole dish with added chicken on the side. The tacos weren’t kind of a bit on the smaller side, but they tasted better than the mole dish. The chicken that they charge $4 extra dollars for was just dry looking steamed chicken with no flavoring or seasoning on it. It was very disappointing. We had to ask for more mole sauce to make up for the lack of flavor for the side of shredded steamed chicken. The non-alcoholic drink option I ordered (but added a shot of vodka to) tasted great—it had tamarind syrup and orange juice in it. But, they charged us the price of 2 drinks for only 1 drink with a shot of vodka added to it. Luckily, they fixed that overcharge, so it became a non-issue. The service was great, and even though they fixed some mistakes they made, I’m not sure the food was worth it to come back again.

   It’s my favorite restaurant when I come up near SF. I’ve probably been to la Vigra at least 12 times this year. The food is amazing!! BTW: the bread pudding is out of this world!

   Food and cocktails are great and well presented. The ambiance not quite, not sure why it’s reported as “cozy, upscale atmosphere”, it’s basically a hole in the wall kind of place, but overall value is good considering the prices.

   The in the food was great, the drinks were superb… The service could could use an up tick. Meaning just checking on guests if they need another drink, food came out as expected didn’t take long.

   Our previous visit was great, in terms of food and service, but this visit was disappointing. Server seemed distracted and curt - though courteous. Food presentation was very nice. Unfortunately, the flavor and textures were merely OK. The ambience is nice Mexican Cantina but our table for two was squeezed between two other tables - with noisy neighbors. There were plenty of open tables on a Sunday evening. We probably should have asked to be moved. So... nothing memorable or recommended on this visit. Not sure we'll try again.

   The food not only tasted excellent but was beautifully presented. Our party of four ordered and shared 3 appetizers, 2 main dishes and 2 desserts. We love everything but the Coliflor Picante and the Bistec de Arrqacherra were our favorites. Excellent service.

    Great customer service. Food was good. We would like to come back again to try other dishes. It’s a good place for small parties and relaxed date.
