La Terrazza Ratings and Reviews
I brought my girlfriend here after seeing the Nutcracker. Despite the fact we are both 19 and clearly on a budget, the staff made us feel like we were royalty. It was easily the most magical date night I have ever had.
From the amazing wine to our delicious main course, there isn't a single thing I would change.
Thank you for an amazing night. I'll be saving up for another one as soon as I can
The food was good, ambience was nice, and service was okay. They were very accommodating to our big group and dietary restrictions but definitely not running back for “good” when there’s so many unbelievable restaurants in the city. Still, nothing bad to say.
Booked this place for a company Xmas dinner for 12 ppl. Although I have been there many times it was great to watch the expressions of all the first time guests as they sipped great wine and enjoyed an unforgettable dining experience.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
A more than wonderful dinner we had. We were on holiday in Vancouver for 1 week and this restaurant didn't disappoint us at all. Pricewise was not bad and I wouldn't call it pricy. Quality and taste and presentation of food was fantastic. Dessert was amazing and we should have absolutely no room for it after such a delicious dinner but we managed to find it because it was irrestitable. The chocolate lava cake was great and we had to order an extra one because it was ,it was Simply GREAT. Service was excellent too. Will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will definitely return on our next trip to Vancouver.
Great surroundings, excellent attentive service. A pity that is marred by unimaginative blah cuisine. The Buffalo capriccio was overshadowed by over exuberant spicing. The spaghettini was at best disappointing. We did not stay for desert of coffee as we did not wish to risk further disappointment. I should add that the charcuterie platter was very good and a meal in itself
i di d not find the ambiance very nice in the restaurant proper. the bar area is quite nice. We were not advised that some drinks were not included in the Happy Hour 4 to 7 pm.
Steak was overcooked (I asked for Medium but the outside was charred). Gnocci seemed like it had been warmed up in a microwave.
We were there with long time business associates turned friends. The staff are very friendly and our waiter made accommodations for what we wanted rather than the exact menu item. Food was fabulous and the wine was supreme. What more could you want? Great neighborhood fine dining restaurant with vallet parking available.
I am so uncomfortable doing this but feel compelled. My date and I were going to the Coldplay Concert (huge fans) on Friday nite and made a reservation at your restaurant. The ambience was lovely and I feel like we had the best seat in the house; near the credensa in the corner. However, unfortunately the service was terrible; not the servers, the wait times.
We had to wait a very long time to get our initial drinks. My dates beer came first and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get my cocktail so we sipped on his beer. The salad we shared was delicious but my fettuccine was overcooked, almost mushy; his meal was great.
We ordered 2 glasses of red wine with our meal and they never came so I finally had to ask one of the servers walking by as I wanted to drink it with my food. My date had already eaten his meal by this time and drank his wine after the fact.
In general it seemed really chaotic and we joked that given the opportunity Gordon Ramsay would straighten the restaurant out.
It was my second time dining at La Terraza. My first experience there was great. This time is was not so happy about it. Main issue we had was with the service. The service was not weak but it was zero friendly and more fake. It made me uncomfortable in general. I got the steak and it was ok. Overall the food is good but not wow. The ambience is great. Most this I like about this restaurant is round tables. So it was great for a party of 8. All of us could mingle and enjoy time with each other.
