The service was great and fast. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, so we were put next to a big party and they were extremely loud.

This is a tapas place with great sangria. We got 4 plates to share plus a special bread. The service was good and the food was good.

Sangrias were good, service was good, mussels with chorizo was good but leave the rest. Empanadas just okay. The seafood paella was undercooked, tasteless and no fish in it even though it was listed on ingredients. Would not recommend unless going just for drinks.

The food was good, just not amazing. We were surprised at how little food we were getting- usually at Tapas restaurants the food is well suited to sharing a bite or two with maybe 4 people, but some of the plates here (especially the scallops- 2 bite-sized scallops for $14!) were only enough to split a bite or two between two, if that. Others were fine for sharing. A note about this on the menu would have been helpful.
The food was OK, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our server got every single item wrong. The wine was warm and the bottle sticky - who knows where they keep wines. Cannot recommend a return visit.

A very relaxed dinner! Three hours of delightful food and company. We recommend ordering two or three small plates at a time. This allows for space on the table and time to savor each item! Also, make sure you order the sangria!
Still fun, but they have made too many changes to the classics on the menu. Traditional Spanish dishes like paella and empanadas have been altered to less authentic (and not as delicious) versions.
Depending on the moood the place was fine. Food was good but over priced. Would gp back if in the area.
La Tasca's Alexandria location has a fast kitchen that serves great food. Overall, they do tapas very well. Our server was not good at all. Our water glasses and iced tea were not refilled for 45 minutes. Simply put, our server ignored us and was borderline rude when he did talk to us. Our bill was incorrect, and when we asked questions about the bill our server told us that the manager did not allow receipts to show everything ordered. Of course, this was not true. We spoke with the manager when we left and he said he would address the situation.
We’re regulars and this place never disappoints! La Tasca is a definitely a favorite of ours.

Took advantage of a Valentines Day offering and enjoyed a delicious meal of several small plates and a pitcher of sangria. The food and service were wonderful! The one area that was bothersome that evening was the live music being played. While we couldn’t see the band from where we were seated, it included loud stomping, on a wooden stage! It definitely affected the romantic evening we had been enjoying. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening, and a venue that we hope to return to.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco dancing accompanied by Spanish guitar that made the ambiance very romantic. What a lovely Valentine's Day evening!
It was our first time there, and had a small plate price fixe menu for valentines day. It was worth the cost, a great way to taste new things, and their house sangria was excellent. We were seated at a quiet table away from the bar area, the ambiance was nice, the waiter and food runners were friendly and courteous. Even the host was nice. It was pricey, but definitely worth it. Overall a very positive experience and we will definitely be back.

Great food and a quiet place for lunch
Came with a group of friends after a session in the Escape Room on King Street. We had a table reservation, but were a bit early so we all found a spot at the bar. The vibe of the place was fun with the live band playing Latin music. The service at the bar was outstanding! Our bartender was very attentive and when we ordered food, it came out quickly. Everyone had a good time and we'll be sure to come back!

the service was okay. The food however, was terrible. The gambas were tiny and had no flavor. The menu described them as being cooked in white wine but there was nothing but olive oil on them. Hence, the no flavor. We then ordered a paella and it was super salty! No one at my table was able to finish the paella. I used to love La Tasca but the service and food has really gone down. I think tonight was my last visit and i wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any one of my friends.

Excellent live entertaiment on Wednesday nights. Food was great and service had excellent timing. Sangrias are better but still need more work.
