   Two couples went for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was mostly empty except for a table of about 6 people with a couple of children. We waited an unreasonable amount of time for our meals, especially since the restaurant was basically empty. Two of us ordered one dish but served a different dish. The server had to take the plates back and the cook had to make the correct dish. The restaurant was empty when we started to eat since the only other group had left. The servers did not fill our glasses of water regularly. We had to ask for water refills. The food was just average....nothing to write home about. The creme brule sugar topping was over caramelized- partly burned. No attempt was made to offer a free dessert, or even to comp one of the meals, after the several errors made. The cost for such a lovely meal was over $184 before tip (only two beers and two waters were ordered- no other alchoholic drinks). Won't be going back there anytime soon!

   This is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami, the food quality/price is great and the staff attention is unremarkable. Would 100% recommend.

   I was impressed with La Strega and pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the service was wonderful. The appetizer was small but good. Overall a good value comparing to other restaurants.
