Have been there several times and never disappointed. The staff is beyond friendly and the food is just really great.
Food is amazing!! I’ve never had a bad meal. John, our waiter keeps us laughing all night. His food suggestions are always perfect!!
Intimate space , white table cloths but not pretentious. John , our server was so kind and accommodating to my elderly mom and her great grand child. Larry , the owner , was gracious and helped out with the last minute change I requested. But the most important element was the wonderfully prepared meals. Haddock with shrimp, lamb chops, pastas, barotta cheese app, veal parm , and all the regular Italian fare you would expect , but expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We were 7 and there were couples and foursomes around us but still quiet enough to hear everybody.
AND ITS A BYOB!
Really a lovely setting and service nice and attentive. Food very good and would like to try more dishes on a return visit. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food. Best neighborhood Italian around
Shrimp appetizers were delicious.
Great tasty food, except my husband thought it was to much of vinegar in bruschetta. My house dressing with salad also had to much vinegar. Overall we liked it and will be back.
Found this restaurant thru a friend. Celebrated my sister's birthday.
Great place, ample parking, awesome service.
La Strada has become our go to place for special occasions
Service was outstanding. Our server John was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The caprese was excellent, as were our entrees and dessert. Overall they elevated our dinner above and beyond the typical Italian BYOB.
The Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmigiana was some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was great.
Food is always excellent. Service great. Owners always so friendly. Our family went there last weekend as a party of 6. There wasn’t one app or entree we didn’t all love. Exceptional night of food and my mom and children raved about the food all night. Great experience. Fish , pasta, octopus, eggplant, and great desserts !
Always a great time! Food is good - they cater to our wishes. Staff is excellent!
I love this restaurant...everything about it is outstanding....in addition to their regular menu, they have "menu samplers "at two different very reasonable price points...so you get a n antipasto appetizer, choice of salad and entree and includes a dessert....its a great way to have a light dinner but yet enjoy every course.....the owners are very accommodating and wait staff is very professional.....highly recommend
I really like this neighborhood gem. However, it can be quite loud. The food comes out piping hot and the service is wonderful.
Our first time dining here and it was a great experience! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Our waiter John was charming with a great sense of humor. We loved it and will definitely be back!
Service and food outstanding, never felt rushed, would recommend to everyone
Very good veal saltinbacca. Very good house salad. Service slow in between courses. Noise level very high . Pack too many people in which makes it so noisy.
The food is consitantly delicious at LaStrada and the service is always friendly and on top of things. Their platters come with a house salad or you can upgrade to a Caesar salad. During the week they have a special 5 course menu but I don't need all those courses so I don't usually order from that menu. We ordered the blackened snapper special, the bronzino with shrimp, chicken parm and chicken francese. We really like it at LaStrada and we will return.
From beginning to end, the meal was wonderful. Everything was made with care and perfection. The mussels were to die for, the branzino was one of the best I’ve tasted. My only disappointment was sharing the limoncello cake with my husband- next time a complete piece for me. The waiter, John, was informative and quite funny. We were never rushed. Just a memorable experience! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best meals we've had in 20 years. Best of the best was chefs special "Halibut", I had a chicken dish which was Great. we had 2 appetizers and Tiramisu dessert. Be back ASAP.
Fabulous find with free parking, great food and good service.
We love going to La Strada for dinner when we’re craving good Italian. The ambiance is lovely, service excellent, and food delicious. Everytime we have John as a waiter, it’s a bonus. He is very passionate about service and provides great recommendations to the menu. Ask for him when you go! We also love the olive oil and Parmesan dip that is freshly provided with the yummy complimentary bread. Also, their tiramisu is exceptional. Honestly, it’s equal to that of the best tiramisu we had in Rome, and that’s saying something!
La Strada entices diners with discount coupons on La Flavor, then tries to tell You it can't be used with a regular set menu price offered almost daily. I switched to a higher priced special to mollify the manager.
Our waitress Tammy was so AMAZING! She made our very special lunch wonderful and the food was out of this world!
This restaurant is consistently good. Wonderful ambience, and then addition the noise level is low you can actually speak to people at your table. We have brought so many of our friends to eat here-and they bring their friends to eat there also. He will not be disappointed
Would be five stars except: we asked for ice to cool our wine. We were given a water glass full of ice instead of an ice bucket to immerse the bottle.
Outstanding meal. Will definitely go again in the near future.
Excellent as usual
Two of us had the fish special (broncino with spinach and fingerling potatoes. It was excellent and prepared perfectly. My other friend also had the broncino that is on the menu and she was very happy with her choice.
The food and service were very good, however the portions were very small for the prices that they’re charging and it ruined the experience.
We went for father’s day. On our way, we got a flat tire and the restaurant was willing to hold our table even after I told him we might be an hour late! The service was excellent! The food was so good! The chicken was so juicy, the lamb was cooked perfectly! The bolognese was absolutely delicious! And the tiramisu, melted in your mouth! We will absolutely be back!
Excellent service, great food and quaint location. I would definitely recommend it. Tammy’s service and recommendations were phenomenal!
La Strada is a dependable neighborhood italian restuarant. Food is always good. And, being privately owned, it does not have that "chain retaurant" feel, which is refreshing. We will be back again, soon.
Food was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend.
Always a most enjoyable dinner. We are never disappointed.
Amazing restaurant! Our server was phenomenal so it made our experience wonderful. The food was delicious and everyone in our party of 6 agreed. We were there celebrating our son’s graduation and La Strada was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Four women ate four different meals. Everyone was delicious. Presented well also. Would not hesitate to recommend or to return.
We had dinner there this past Saturday night. Our reservation was met ontime and we were seated promptly. Once seated, our waiter, John, offered the specials. As we drank our wine and chatted with friends, we were advised to hurry up and order, as there were lines outside waiting to get seated. The waiter was terse, rude, and condescending. We asked for some bread and was told that the waiter wanted our a-itineraries order prior to bringing bread . Thats a tactic to get customers to “Order Up” on the profitable appetizers. After insisting on the bread it finally showed up. It took a long time for our entrees to come out and we were told that they were short handed in the kitchen. No apology, just pressure to eat and turn the table. When we showed our displeasure via an abbreviated tip, we were challenged by the waiter as to whether something was wrong. When we explained the tip, he never owned this arrogance or anger. He argued and tried to justify and defend his position to my wife. Quite offending. Finally after the discussion became heated, the owner came over and defended his server. Never really apologized and no offer of contrition on the bad behavior. We’ve been there several times , however, will NEVER GO BACK!!! There are too many choices were I can spend my food dollar. THE WORST SERVICE I’ve ever experienced.................
The restaurant is nice and the servers/hosts are friendly . The bus-people were hovering over the tables and actually were annoying.
The food was just so-so for a "sort of" upscale restaurant.
The Bronzino was expensive and a VERY SKIMPY portion
The Salmon was a 4-5 oz piece like one buys at Giant
The Ravioli special was filled and over powered with SALT
The Chicken was the only generous portion and was cheaper than all the other entrees
Seemed that many people are repeats to the restaurant as the hosts knew them
To us the restaurant was just a glorified upscale diner and will not be returning as the place is OVER PRICED for what they serve
Waitress was nice and food was excellent.
