   Always a great dining experience at this fine Italian restaurant. When we first started coming here, Momma(the owners mom) would fly in once a month and make this authentic Italian spread to go with our bread (with exquisite olives to accompany the appetizer). Now, Momma, as I understand it, is making the meatballs daily. If it’s your first time visiting, the meatballs are a MUST!!! I really can’t choose between the spread or the meatballs. Oh well!!! I guess I’ll just continue to suffer and eat meatballs🤣🤣🤣!!!!

   Waited over 10 mins even after arriving early for reservation. Food was good, amazing aperol spritz, reminded me of Lake Como visit.

   Absolutely amazing! The live music, the ambience and the food - all perfection. Adam was our server and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The sommelier is one of a kind and we’ve never been at a restaurant with one as knowledgeable as him! Start with the octopus, it was unreal and unlike any we’ve ever tried. Spicy rigatoni and eggplant parmesan were our favorites this trip!

   Great reception and attentive service. Wonderful food. We were going to the Winspear and La Stella’s went beyond the expectations to box and keep go boxes which we could retrieve from the restaurant after the performance.

   First time to La Stella and it will not be the last! From the initial phone call with Kyle at the host stand to the service by Christian, the evening was perfect and music an added bonus. Fun drink choices with some twists. The food choices at my table varied and no one was disappointed! And we loved the limoncello to finish the experience off, thank you! Ciao

   Maybe it was an off night? The restaurant was hopping so the only available reservation was at the bar. We like the bar so no problem. But the service was slow and the bartender got our food order completely wrong. The food was very good when it finally arrived. Wine list is extremely limited; as they are directly across from the Meyerson & Winspear, I think they should up their wine-by-the-glass game…it’s difficult to finish a bottle before a show.

   Hello Ruth - this is ownership. Our sincerely apologies, you caught us on an extremely rare evening where we found ourselves short staffed because of illness and vacations. It is not our standard operating service. We hope you will come back to visit us again soon. As far as the wine selection by the glass I would be happy to explore other options - we have about a dozen by the glass options not including sparkling, if there is something you would like us to offer contact us directly - we thank you for dining with us and again my sincere apologies.
