Don't miss the amazing risotto ball appetizer! La Stanza offers exquisite dishes at a reasonable price... a sweet spot between ordinary restaurants and $$$$$ fine dining.
Fantastic daily specials... the best "Italian" food in town for sure! (Actually Sicilian.)
Our friends’ 60th wedding anniversary.
Wonderful delicious food. Friendly service. Our favorite place in town.
Terrific food, great service, lovely setting. Fantastic.
Delicious food. Friendly, attentive staff.
Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine. Pasta dishes are Devine.
This is a hidden gem. Authentic Italian cuisine, Italian owned, homemade bread, homemade pasta and the best egg plant parmigiana I have ever had. Do not miss this spot if you want great Italian food.
Good service, but food not terribly memorable, especially at these prices, Restaurant front door kept failing to close, and various patrons had to keep getting up from their tables to close it ... really?!
2nd time there and we just love it! Thank you for the great food and our waiter is the BEST! We will be back!
Brought an exchange student from Italy to this place. His exact words were , “Not as good as my Mom’s cooking but close!”
Petrale Sole was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and we were given a complimentary Tiramisu which was also delicious!!
Loved it! Will be back soon
I have eaten Italian cooking in this area as well as throughout Italy. My meal Saturday was one of the best ever! Good helpful service. The noise level made it somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation. I'm sure adjustments can be make fairly easily. Go there. You won't be disappointed.
La stanza is a great Italian restaurant. Each dish is made with attention and care. Also, the wine list is very nice. I totally recommend it.
Great service and food
Their food and ambience is over all pretty solid, but missing the flavor of their predecessor Piccolo. I wish they had warmed crusty sourdough or french bread. I prefer butter or balsamic and oil to the topping they offer. Their pasta is clearly homemade but the marinara sauce lacks flavor and character (needs salt and garlic). Its a lovely place and its fairly new so I'm sure they are working out the kinks.
Wonderful dining experience - the service was impeccable, the dining area ambiance warm and cozy, and the food was simply outstanding. Will definitely be back soon and highly recommend!
Very good homemade Italian pasta. The service was excellent. I would definitely return.
Best Italian dinner we’ve enjoyed outside of Italy. Exquisite food at reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back. A true neighborhood gem.
The food is very good - the only improvement I would love to see is for them to have a real authentic red sauce on some of their dishes instead of adding cream. We had the rigatoni and sacchetto, the sacchetto especially would be enhanced with a rich red tomato sauce - cream just dulls and masks the flavor of what is being served. The wine list is very good and overall we really enjoyed the dinner and our waiter but would have preferred our sauces to not have cream in them.
Nice little neighborhood place, very pleasant ambiance. Small but that was great - not too loud or too quiet. The wine by the glass selections were very good - I had the Nero d'Avolo. I had the agnolotti and they were delicious, and the red sauce was fresh and lovely. My friend had the brussels sprouts and a kale salad both of which were also good.
Highly recommend!
So great to have a tucked-away neighborhood Italian restaurant where the owner often speaks Italian with the customers and the dishes exhibit a light but authentic touch.
New name, new ownership, new menu but still great authentic Italian food in a neighborly restaurant setting.
just opened and needs to get a few bugs out but I'm sure it will be great.
Service was extremely warm and friendly, and we enjoyed our meal overall. We were three people dining: my husband, my 10-year-old, and myself. We liked almost everything we ordered, including pasta with red sauce, arugula salad with pistachios and citrus, veal main course, and tiger prawns in butter and wine sauce. The only exception was the Caesar salad, which was surprisingly bland, with no discernible taste of lemon, garlic, or anchovy. Pricing was good for food and wines by the glass. We would return if we were in the neighborhood.
We went the first night they had dinner service and was expecting some hiccups but everything was very tasty and the ambiance was very comfortable. I'd go back.
Very nice small Italian restaurant. Good service & excellent food.
Food was excellent. I would return in a heartbeat.
Friendly nice and cozy gem
simple trattoria like you'd find in italy. great food and service.
Seated right away in the main room for our Saturday dinner reservation at 6:30 pm; the small place was already completely packed, and they were seating others in the overflow room around back. Service was personal, prompt, and excellent.
Our bruschetta was delicious! I had a lovely salad to start and the night’s special salmon for my entree, which was just the right size (not too big) and cooked to soft perfection. Husband had a yummy pasta dish, which showed that the chef really knows how to prepare authentic, elegant yet simple pasta that hits the right flavors and doesn’t overwhelm the diner. Affogato for dessert was fine but nothing special. Looking forward to coming back with family on another visit.
Excellent service, delicious food!
This is a hidden neighborhood gem with friendly service and delicious food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a weekly night out. Small and cozy, not really suitable for a large party. Some table for outside seating, but not the best location. Regardless of space, the food is well worth the visit.
Our first time to the restaurant. Picked it based on reviews on Open Table site. Those reviews are spot -on. Great little spot. We will be back
Was my 56th b-day. Wouldn’t have spent it anywhere else. Folks are great and maybe just check to see if you can be seated immediately before 7pm.
The noise level picks up the later it gets.
Great wines to pair with tasty daily plates and the separate specials menu.
We received a compliment Tiramisu with two spoons for my wife & I to share.
Perfect Evening!
We always enjoy ourselves at this lovely, cozy restaurant.
We love Piccolo Ristorante Italiano. The food is delicious and it feels like some of the cafes in Florence I used to go to, unpretentious, warm and quiet. It is run by Italians who make their own pasta. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Great neighborhood gem, the food was delicious.
The food was great. While it's an Italian restaurant, they do have great food that's not pasta (I am Keto). The young lady that seems to be hostess/waitress/catch all did a great job handling the entire floor. She was quite friendly. The food came out in a timely fashion. My wife says the desserts were great - good enough for me to give up Keto for the night... but I didn't give in. They use their own Olive Oil which you can't apparently buy here. The place is small, so I encourage you to consider reservations or getting there early. And the prices are quite reasonable, given the area.
family own restaurant, can be chaostic when the place is getting busy.
The food is very delicious, reasonable price and good quality.
Portion was right, the vege were so fresh and sweet.
The desserts were mediocre, the panna cotta sauce taste like a nightquil, but the panna cotta itself was really good.
