Anonymous, I will start off by saying we are sorry your experience was not to your satisfaction, nor was it to ours, based on this review. I had seen the other very lengthy and detailed review you left on google. I would invite you back for a free meal, but at this point I personally don't see why you would re-visit us. I'm sorry and I apologize for the evening you experienced. This review is certainly not the type we usually receive, and I wish had known about the quality of food you were eating before now. Just as a word of advice, next time you go another establishment and things are not that great, get the attention of management. A good manager will make the corrections to satisfy the patrons, which is what I would've accomplished. Best of Luck. Ciao, Rick

Hidden Gem - Take my word for it - try it - you will love it. I have three teenage girls 16,16 and 18 - they all love it. Owner is personally attentive and the staff is lights out. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed - I promise.

La Stalla is amazing! We have dinner here every Friday night. We have had dinner with friends here. Everyone always loves it! The food is delicious. The quality of the food is 5 star. You will think you are at a downtown Boston restaurant, until you see the bill. Incredible food at a reasonable price. Everyone here - the manager, bartenders and waitstaff are all very nice and friendly. Abbey Jo and Jim are the best bartenders! If you go to La Stalla you will be very happy and you will definitely return for more delicious dinners and yummy cocktails.

Delicious food! The waitstaff was a bit slow, I suspect they are understaffed. But everything was delicious, from the arancini to the blackened salmon. One of my favorite restaurants!

Our first time to La Stalla. Saw favorable reviews and thought, why not. Overall, the experience was mediocre. The pictures on Open Table showed white table clothes and an attractive dining room. In actuality, no table clothes and the room was pedestrian. The space did nothing to minimize adjoining table noise, so the somewhat loud guests at the two tables adjacent to ours prevented a quiet conversation. Music was good. Service was earnest. The servers were very young and tried their best. I give them a solid thumbs up. The bar served a credible Negroni, in the proper glass. Bravo. Big let down on the food. My wife had chicken piccata and I had veal marsala. Both had the proteins dredged in flour that was "uncooked" and left a gritty, nasty consistency in what would have been a great a sauce. Pappardelle was the side pasta. It was stuck together and made it impossible to eat it in anything but giant bites. Wine list had good choices but were way over priced - about three times retail. The wine by the glass pour was exceedingly small for the $13 price tag. I will give most restaurants up to two and half times retail. Three times is greedy and we didn't have white table clothes on the table. Disappointed. Likely will not go back. Too bad, because it looked so promising.

I think this night they were short staffed but our waitress was very attentive. The manager or owner was also helping out. Unfortunately the table next to us was very loud especially one lady but this is not the fault of the restaurant The meals had a nice unique take on them and I liked.

Our first time at La Stalla was amazing! The food is all made from scratch - the arancini and the chicken Marsala are must haves! They had live music and a great environment and the service was incredible. Rick and Allie know what they’re doing.

My husband & I have been to La Stalla several times for our Friday night date night. We are loving the new menu choices & the drinks are always great too. The manager came over to say hello & see how we liked everything, which was very nice. Even though we have a 30 minute drive to get there, we plan to continue our Friday nights as often as we can.

Three of us were pleasantly surprised to have 3 great meals. I’ve never had such delicious veal piccata, my husband had veal Marsala, and our sister ordered chicken piccata. Pasta was Al dente and cooked perfectly, our waitress was very good and made us feel welcome. Our only complaint was the choice of music, too loud and fast for such nice dining. We will return!

Food was awesome, they changed menu and great choices and value. Service was good the manager was amazing. Servers were on young side thought they were good but could have done better job removing dirty dishes from table when we were down eating each course. Came in with high hopes and was not disappointed. We go out to eat quite often and this just topped our list of "go to" restaurants. The arancini was fantastic as were the cocktails, entrees and desserts. My wife, my adult daughter and I were thrilled with how great this meal was.

We had very good, well-portioned meals and excellent service - just cooked food gets to the table quickly, something every place should do. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The menu is full of old favorites offered by all restaurants; my only suggestion would be to allow the chef a bit of creativity. The rollatini on the specials' menu was excellent. We both took home leftovers and plan to be back.

The only suggestion I have is to be a little clearer on the menu regarding the red vs white sauce on the mussels. First time we had the mussels we were in heaven. We asked for the white sauce and we were not aware we had a choice of which white sauce we could have. However our second time dining, thinking we were getting the same "white" sauce, we ordered the mussels again.:. and although we did get a white sauce, we were unaware that there was an option for Alfredo sauce or garlic white wine sauce. It doesn't explain this on the menu. The Alfredo version is exquisite! And we would have preferred that version. Now we know how to order it for next time. Other than that, always a great experience.

We love this place! It has an inviting vibe, fun cocktails, and every dish I've tried has been excellent (salmon is probably my favorite). Service is friendly. Great for date night or a dinner out with the girls! The focaccia and olive oil dip is reason enough to go here. Reasonable prices for the quality of food.

The food was delicious. The staff polite and friendly, but I wasn’t checked in on or offered a drink. (All fairness, I said I was fine with water, but would order a beer before the food came), but the waitress never checked in again until when we were almost done with our meal. It wasn’t until our meal arrived we realized other tables were offered bread and checked in on, but we were not. We ordered an app and meals at the same time, but by the time I saw the waitress again our meal arrived. What frustrates me is I brought my mother, who uses a wheel chair, and 3 staff men (including the GM, who introduced himself when we first sat down), watched me struggling to open the door and push my mother through. While precariously near the outside steps to use the outdoor elevator.

This restaurant has so much potential, but walking in two things struck me. For one, the tables should have table cloths. Just something about the bare colored tables that made the restaurant feel cheap, or rather feel like you're eating at one of those BBQ restaurants. The second thing that struck me was the guy singing at the entrance. Apart from thinking that it's a bit cheesy and doesn’t really go with an Italian restaurant, the guy that we heard singing when we visited on Mother's Day had a terrible voice. We eventually moved our table and chose to eat outdoors (well built deck, by the way... lol), and one of the reasons we were glad to do so was because of the horrible singing. The food and service were both good, and the wine list was very decent, which brings me back to the first point i made earlier. This restaurant has the potential to be one of those places where you don't feel like you're on a cheap date, and I don't mean money here. The prices were ok and perhaps slightly overpriced on some dishes, but there was just something about the ambience that felt off. I was a bit confused because this was a family style Italian restaurant, but in reality, I was really expecting it to be a little bit more upscale dining. I guess that's the real issue with this place. I see the potential! In general I give this restaurant a 3 out of 5 stars.

Very impressed! Light and fresh atmosphere. The food was outstanding! Steamed Mussels were fantastic! The dish size was overly generous and definitely not complaining! Stuffed Haddock was delectable and the chocolate lava cake was heavenly! Choosing what to eat was a tough decision! Guess that only means one thing- will have to return to try another dish! Well Done!

The outdoor seating is great. We had a large group and our server was pleasant and friendly. My meal, chicken piccata, was great. The dessert, cheesecake, was okay. The appetizers were delicious. My favorite was the lamb lollipops. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I recommend enjoying the outdoor deck.
