La Sosta Derry showcases the best of fine Italian cuisine and has us weak at the knees. Charming and delightful, this city centre restaurant is perfect for romantic meals for two or celebrating special occasions with all your friends and family. Located on Carlisle Street, La Sosta is home to an extensive wine list as well as a menu brimming with all the Italian classics you know and love. We love tucking into the rigatoni cooked with smoked pancetta in a Napoli sauce; veal escalope marsala served with prosciutto and mozzarella or the fish of the day with confit fennel, asparagus, spring onions and langoustine cream. Ate here for St. Valentines Night. A truly authentic Italian dining experience. Haven't eaten here in about 10 years, I don't know why I stayed away for so long. Had a superb night. The best Ravioli I have ever eaten, the wine list is excellent. The staff were excellent, and it was lovely speaking to the owner Claudio. They suggested that we finish the night out with a Sambucca Coffee, which although was challenging at the start, was ultimately rewarding!
