La Slowteria is a slow-food authentic Mexican restaurant that honors cooking techniques stemming from an array of regions in Mexico. Slow food promotes locally sourced ingredients, values an awareness of eating as part of a healthy lifestyle, all while creating a strong relationship with its community. Our menu offers a variety of unique and appetizing dishes (including vegetarian and vegan) complimented with a list of International wines, beers and cocktails.     Simply put this is a must go to place. You will be impressed from service to food. The best Mexican food in NYC.

    Dinner was quite good. Service was very welcoming - it's a small place with a few tables and a bunch of people eating at the bar. there's happy hour before 7:00pm. The food is small plates - tacos and such - but lovingly prepared and very delicious so order a few. Also table side prepared guacamole with homemade chips and other dipping devices.

    Delicious margarita's and food. everything we ordered was really good from the salsa and chips to the creviche, tacos and the dessert. A little more spicy than I expected but really fresh and delicious. One caveat is be prepared to wait for your food, especially if they are busy. Everything is made to order and super fresh which is why it takes a bit longer!

    Delicious food but took FOREVER. they ended up coming our three sisters salad in apology but we had to rush eating dinner to make it out on time for our next event. Will be going back— when we have a LOT of time to spare.
