Situated in Downtown St. Catharines in an 1850's era building on 9 Queen Street. It was magnificently restored by owner Joe Marchese, in March 2014 to welcome his guests in an elegant bistro setting.

The Marchese family takes exceptional pride in their food and hospitality. Their unique take on authentic Tuscan recipes is what has created La Scala’s loyal following. The balance between rustic and modern can also be found in the décor, from the original marble fireplaces to the Italian leather seating.

Please come in and enjoy classical Italian dishes with a contemporary flair.

Very sad they are closing. We have enjoyed LaScala from their beginnings. Never disappointing. You always know what,s in store. We look forward to the new location. Continued success!

Food was very good, server Sarah was outstanding. Great discovery. We will go back and may try 'skip the dishes with the restaurant.

Amazing , quiet , and friendly ristiorante. Food was fantastic, so was the service. Definitely want to go back. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Good food and good service. Nice ambience too with large patio. Preferred this meal by a long shot to Queen's Landing's Tiara Restaurant.
