Best Restaurant in Little Italy. Food is outstanding and staff is always professional and attentive. Don't leave without an Espresso Martini!!!
Our server was excellent! You can tell he had been there a very long time, and had expertise. The food was very good, a lot of vegetarian options which sometimes makes dining difficult with my daughters, so a very pleasant surprise. The grilled Caesar special was delicious.
First time in Little Italy in a number of years. Loved the atmosphere and enjoyed dinner with my family. Antonio was a wonderful waiter and enjoyed all of his recommendations. Will definitely come back another time.
Octopus Appetiser - Delicious as was dinner. Our server was fantastic. Could be our favorite Italian Restaurant in B-More.
We visited La Scala on a weekday and I cannot say enough good things about the entire evening. The server, Delia, was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the wines and foods. The grilled Caesar salad was incredible. Both veal dishes we had were equally excellent. Delia was entertaining but never obtrusive. I never felt rushed or crowded but always attended to. I would recommend La Scala to everyone. Little Italy is such a nice section of Baltimore.
Had a great date night at La Scala on Saturday. Our table was ready for us when we arrived, and the service was up-to-par. Never had our water glasses empty. The food had great flavors and good portion sizes. Can't wait to return
Been coming to Baltimore for years. So sorry it took me so long to find this gem. Excellent homemade food! Will put it on a must stop!
We went with a group of 6 for a Birthday celebration. Nice touch they came out with tiramisu with candles. The swordfish special was out of this world, cooked to perfection, all other meals were fantastic. Of course the stringbeans were soooo good and well as the grilled Ceasar salad.
Awesome vegan menu. I hope they continue to carry vegan options.
Went during MD Vegan week. Everything was wonderful! I hope the vegan pasta remains as an option because I could eat a big bowl of just that.
This is a lovely old style Italian restaurant, seems to be family run judging by the variety of people who came by our table to ask how we were enjoying our meal, which was delicious. Very close to inner harbor. I highly recommend.
Nino was a delight to meet as was his mother. Such a wonderful family feeling you get with the staff.
Fabulous traditional Italian cuisine with a great atmosphere. I am headed back with each visit to Baltimore.
I organized a dinner at La Scala for a group of 15, which was higher from the original amount reserved and La Scala was very accommodating. Everyone in the group loved the venue and the service provided by Carlos was excellent. The best part of the evening was the food, which was delicious! I’d definitely book a large group here again. One tip... we had a person in the group who walks assisted by a walker and unbeknownst to me, our table was reserved on the second floor. The only way to access it was going up a flight of stairs. It was very difficult for that person, but with perseverance he was able to get to the table and enjoyed the event.
Service and food were delicious!! Everything tastes so fresh and I love the food choice! They easily agreed to substitute an ingredient in my pasta and I appreciated that.
Always some the of the best Italian food in the Baltimore area. Along with exceptional service.
Amazing time had by all. Great food, service and atmosphere.
The Vegan Week menu was creative and fantastic. We loved everything about the dinner and La Scala. We’ll be back soon. We hope to see more vegan friendly items on the menu!
Where else can a family gather for great food overlooking fun entertainment for kids and adults alike (bocce court)? The service is excellent, a parking garage is just around the corner, the food was excellent and the decor is warm and inviting. What more could you ask for?
Amazing service !! Description of menu by waiter was truly delivered with enthusiasm . Food top notch and will be back .
We had a side table upstairs and it was a bit noisy with various merriment going on but not so much that we could not have a conversation. Food was great! Fig & pancetta special appetizer could have offered some more taste but still nice. Grilled Caesar was good as were the special breads. My husband loved the veal & shrimp Baltimore. Shrimp & crab fettuccine Alfredo and our daughter loved the gnocchi.
Always consistently fabulous. Can’t beat their service and food. Love this place!!! Thanks Nino!!
Deliziosa!
As always a fantastic experience. Food, staff, and ambiance.
One of the best restaurants in Little Italy. Had branzino which was cook perfectly.
The Gamberi with shrimp & sausage in red sauce was exceptional Great service!
Great experience
Food is carefully prepared. Expect heavier dishes, rather than a lighter, more modern fare. Service was attentive and friendly.
Double birthday celebration with far away friends. Perfect in every way! Balcony seating was perfect. Waiter ( Antonio?) was excellent - interactive, friendly, kind, attentive but not overbearing. We all loved our meals and the house wines were wonderful!
Anniversary
Overall impressed but very expensive. I came here with my parents and my boyfriend. I expect to pay top dollar at an Italian restaurant, and the restaurant delivered on a very large dinner portion. However, the cheese plate was underwhelming with 8 tiny slices of cheese for 4 people. I wouldn’t get that again but otherwise very good!
What a fabulous find for us during our brief trip to Baltimore. Food and Service were second to none! Love the atmosphere and best of all we received a complimentary pickup at our hotel.
We ate at La Scala and felt very well taken care of by the waitstaff. We really enjoyed the food, very authentic old school Italian with a very large menu and a lot of specials as well. The ambience was nice - the restaurant was clean and the decor was relaxing. There's a bocce ball court in the restaurant as well!
Simple elegance. Great service, great Chef. Went with a group of 10, service went without a hitch. In and out in 2 hours.
We are in Baltimore for a family trip which we’ve been planning for a while. Part of that planning was finding where we would eat our first night. We researched Italian restaurants in Baltimore and LaScala just seemed the right place for us.
As soon as we stepped inside we felt we’d made the right decision. We walked upstairs and through rooms full of happy diners on our way to our table fo 10. We all ordered different things and shared our meals. The food was just amazing. What a wonderful experience!
Thank you LaScala!
Good food, great service!
Super service with very friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. All the food was delicious.
Great place for a date, food was high quality, wine selection was extensive. They have solid cocktails and many great dishes on the menu. Everything we tasted was on point. Indoor bocci courts in the bar downstairs were a charming touch.
Our out of town guests loved everything from the old world charm, attentive and personable service, and wonderful wine and dinner. The four of us had great variety—bronzino, veal chop, traditional (yet far from ordinary) homemade pasta, grilled Caesar, and anti pasta. Although they have an extensive wine list, their house wines are delicious.
Wonderful food, great ambiance, terrific waitress...Delia.
